Arthur C. Brooks argues that women are happier because they excel at what matters most: building lives centered on love and connection rather than money. With 70% of his MBA students now women, he sees them as natural entrepreneurs of their own lives, measuring success by how much they give and receive love.

70% of my MBA students are women. This is disproportionately interesting material to women. Why? Because you know what women are better at than men? Women are great entrepreneurs at the enterprise of life, as opposed to just the enterprise of the business. My life is the enterprise. I'm the founder of my life. They take my class thinking about that, and they assemble their lives with this entrepreneurial spirit. And when you talk to women about their families, the enterprise is my life and my family. And so I'm talking about the people in my family. I'm loving and being loved. That's the fuel, by the way. The enterprise of life is about the extent to which you're loved and being loved. That's the fortune. That's how you become a billionaire in the entrepreneurship of life per se. And women are pretty good at that.
