How do we actually manage the negative emotions, the negative interactions? Because, as I said, conflicts are a core part of life. We are two different individuals. And if everything happened the way you want, where would there be space for another? And if there is needs to be space for another, there will be conflict. Because there will be a disagreement that you will jointly resolve together. If there is one thing that is true, no matter how harsh, how hard, how hot the conflict is, no matter who's right or wrong, in in any conflict, there is suffering. And that suffering is for both. Now, with a loved one, we can tune into that level of compassion for ourselves and for the other, recognizing that they are suffering too. Just like us, they also want happiness and joy, and we can use that to truly open our heart. It can be such a powerful practice.
