Hi dear friends, I wanted to share three ways in which you could make continuous learning as a source of flourishing and well being for yourself and for the teams that you need now. Personal growth shows up as one of the biggest drivers of flourishing. It is also one of the biggest intrinsic motivators in work done by her Sprad. It has two factor motivation theory. So if you want to motivate and increase the cohesiveness of your team, start doing one of three things. First, see if there are courses you can jointly as a team enroll in. These can be offered by your company or you can turn to external platforms like LinkedIn, Learning, Coursera, edX and so many others on topics that can be technical, functional or related to human skills. Second, you can turn to the power of conferences dividing up amongst your team, industry functional and regional conferences where you can spend time interacting with others in your industry and bringing cutting edge insights back to your group. Third, start a discussion group that meets once a quarter, maybe even once a month where you pick a book or you pick an article and collectively read it together and then discuss it over a lunch on insights, big takeaways and how you might integrate pet learning into your team.
