In today's tip on making happiness your competitive edge, I invite you find moments throughout the day to be still, moments to tune into the wisdom of the nature universe around us. But the only way we can do that is by turning to silence, silencing our mind and all the thoughts that are running out here, and by allowing ourselves to be still, to stop doing and allow ourselves to just be. After all, as someone once widely said, we are called human beings, not human doings for a reason. But our lives today would not reflect that we have become human doings. When we create space for stillness, for silence three or four times in the day, not only are we allowing our constant fight, flight, freeze driven sympathetic nervous systems to calm down, but what we are also creating is a space for insight, creativity that comes when our mind wanders. That comes when we allow things to slow down, enjoy and have a great day.
