A short motivational monologue (YouTube Short) by Ashish Kothari arguing that challenges are universal opportunities for growth. The speaker emphasizes that leaders must undertake lifelong inner work, healing, and shifts in consciousness because a leader’s level of consciousness constrains the organization’s ability to rise; breaking through enables organizational transformation.

Tough times are guaranteed to come for all of us and all organizations. But the question is, what do we do and do we grow from that? Do we learn from that? Right? Do we turn that into a positive? So, yeah, I think these lessons are pretty universal, and I agree with you that it's about knowing and doing. But the most important element is being and really transforming yourself. Because if you're a leader, you become a constraint on the consciousness of the organization or the part of the organization that you lead. So if you're stuck at a certain level, your organization will not rise above that. And if you break through to the next level of consciousness, so too can the organization. So working on yourself is a lifelong journey. It's a lifelong responsibility as well. It's not just for yourself. It's for all the lives that you touch in your personal life and in your work life. You have to keep growing and evolving, and that means healing. You cannot run a healing organization if you haven't worked on your own healing.
