A short YouTube clip by Ashish Kothari advising simple, small actions to build a positive organizational climate. The speaker gives two concrete examples — a senior FBI officer who created a public "gratitude wall" at headquarters and a university administration building in Monterrey, Mexico that displays a gratitude wall — and argues such practices increase energy, creativity, cohesion, and communication.

There's a woman who's a senior level officer in the FBI, headquartered in Washington, D.C. her office was there. Her office was one of those offices with a big glass wall that looked out on an open area. She decided to simply go out on the outside of her wall and write gratitude wall across the top of her glass. Didn't say anything, didn't announce anything, she just wrote gratitude wall. By the end of the day, several people had written things on our wall that were acknowledging somebody or something for which they were grateful. At the end of the week, it was plastered and there were two or three other gratitude walls that emerged in that headquarters. I've been close to a university down in Monterrey, Mexico. You walk in the administration building, the very first thing you see is a gratitude wall where they can write and acknowledge and so on. So part of positive climate is simply doing small things that are uplifting to people, help people, say, gee, I like this. And as you mentioned, it unleashes all kinds of energy, creativity, cohesion and so on. Communication channels are more available and more frequent and so on.
