Mieke Jacobs discusses leading from wholeness, integrating different parts of yourself into your work. She connects personal integration to team productivity and explores how space and energy shape effective leadership.
Wholeness and not productivity is the real path to leadership.
I cannot imagine a life without seeking wisdom and without integration and processing and seeking wholeness.
Flourishing can't exist in days filled with back to back meetings with no space, even fire. You can take a bunch of wood that can burn, but if I suffocate it of oxygen, of space, there will be no fire.
The path of leadership is not different than the path of life and I'm mostly doing team facilitation. But of course I also have some individual coaching journeys and in both it almost feels as if they're not separate.
To do any of this work you have to first make sure you're at your best.
It's truly two parts. It's letting go of what's not yours. And with that energetically you have space and then fill it up with you. Right? Because if you don't fill it up with you, then there's plenty of things to worry about everywhere else.
