From a brain states management perspective, the single biggest payoff of engaging appreciation and consciously being in positive feeling states is it gives you access to the higher brain state and it stabilizes it. And so when you're in that higher brain state and you have positive emotions online, it's almost like higher brain state plus plus. And this is where you can access those flow states, where you can get insights, creativity, innovation, where you can suddenly put things together in ways you hadn't thought of before. It's where from an inclusion perspective you can create consciously choose to move toward despite differences. It's where you can make a choice to notice and manage your biases which everyone has. And in the brain there's over 175 different types of biases the brain can employ at any given time. We are not bias free. The brain is a bias making machine and we can use our state to help access more higher levels of awareness and access our best selves to notice and manage that more effective we can move towards someone and override that discomfort.
