This is a YouTube video titled "The Mindset Shift That Turns Financial Planning Into a Flourishing Practice with Tom Shepard" containing a talk or presentation focused on financial mindset and personal growth, emphasizing the importance of forward-looking perspectives in managing money, time, relationships, and health. The speaker is identified as Speaker A, and the content was created in July 2025.

The reason that you can't save money is because you're looking backwards at your life. The story that you're telling is looking backward, and you're not actually looking in the right direction to solve the problem. Because the problem isn't where you were or where you are, it is where you're going. And as soon as you turn and look in that direction, you've actually turned the dial. Now the question is, I can take the next step, but what is the next step? Once you see what your pattern is with money, you actually can then apply it right back to looking at how you manage your time, how you manage your relationships, and how you manage your health and your energy. Because in and of itself, money is just a form of energy.
