I found out through some research that the typical psychologist, therapist, counselor, whatever, if they see 20 to 25 patient hours a week, that's considered full time, and the average is like 10 years before they get burned out. Well, I did it for 18 years, and I would see 45 patient hours a week. Like, back to back to back. No breakfast, no less, working like a maniac. My wife used to say, honey, you're going to have a heart attack. And I was like, very arrogant. I'm like, no, I can handle it. And I did for 16 years until my body began to break down. And because I'm a spiritual person, it literally brought me down to my knees one time because I'm in so much pain. And I'm like, to the source of light and God and like, why is this happening to me? I'm trying to be a good husband, Father. I'm helping as many people as I can. And the answer came instantly, short, precise, and was this. I'm trying to take you in a different direction, and you're not listening to me. That was it. Well, that was kind of cryptic. And of course, rather than paying attention to that, what did I do? I ignored it. So guess what happens when you ignore that voice. And to me, that voice is. You can call it your intuition or your higher self. I don't really care what you call it. Listen to it. Because in my experience in life, every time I heard that voice and then acted on it, it has always worked out. That's an absolute.
