One of my favorite research projects from my time at McKinsey was an adaptability and Resilience. We found that when facing a situation more complex than our ability to hold it, we often get triggered and fall into anti learning or protection mindsets. These make us feel like a victim, often feeling like we need to place a blame or react too quickly. Next time you find yourself in these non resilient mindsets, try this strategy 1. Become aware of your thoughts, emotions and body sensations. Number two Use the power of the breath to pause, find your center and explore the situation from a new set of mindsets. Just like changing your set of glasses. These can be mindsets of agency, it can be a mindset of abundance, and it can be a mindset of curiosity. If you found this tip to be helpful, please comment and let me know your thoughts and also share it so that we can make flourishing our collective competitive edge.
