Multitasking is zero tasking. You're flipping between tasks, and the more of these plates that you're spinning in the air, the higher the percentage of time that's spent in flipping time rather than spinning time. And so what we need to do is, from a productivity point of view, is get back to proper monotasking. For this, we need to figure out ways of dealing with all of the distractions and being absorbed in what we're doing. This has everything to do with mindfulness, everything to do with meditation, everything to do with getting into flow. This is really what we're talking about here. But in the world of business, it's not only incredible driver of personal productivity, which is a good thing, but it's an incredible driver of quality of life experience. It's a win win. It's a double whammy. You get to be happier and more productive. Sounds good. Let's do some of that.
