A YouTube episode (Weekly Obsession Episode 10) hosted by Autumn Calabrese featuring a group of participants discussing their experiences at roughly day 60–62 of the 80 Day Obsession program. The conversation mixes instructor coaching (motivation, exercise form, phase-three progressions, reminders about weekends and recovery) with participant reflections on adaptation, meal prep, refeed days (mentions of “four yellows”), and pride in progress. Recurring themes: phase three difficulty/complexity, progressive strength gains, consistency (no one missed workouts), weekend adherence/meal prep, refeed strategy, and community motivation.

On this episode of Weekly Obsession, don't look back and wish that you had done your workout. You want a good booty, you gotta get off of it and work.
I can't believe it's been 60 days. None of us have missed.
We're just having fun. I feel like everybody's so in the groove that the workouts are flying by. We want you to find the strength to keep going.
Autumn pushes us, and that's definitely helping me get over my plateau.
You have to trust that it's a process and know that there's going to be stumbles along the way. You don't give up. You work through it, and that's how you overcome it.
The second week of every phase, it's like, oh, we've done it. We should remember. I feel like I just remember it being hard. The second week of the phases, it feels like I should remember exactly what comes next in each workout. But there's still a learning curve.
Last week, I felt kind of like. Like I was on a decline in terms of my energy going through week one. It was a little difficult just because there's so many aspects to each exercise.
It's crazy how fast you adapt because now you know what's coming.
You know this is going to be death. It's going to be super hard.
And then when you prepare yourself for.
That, it always seems easier. Yes. Make it burn. If you're modifying, stick with Kerry. She's doing it. Stick.
Swing it.
Squeeze it back. Come on, guys.
Happy Monday.
I don't really approach Monday different than any other day of the week. If you want to be as successful at this program, you don't take the weekend off to get off your game. That's why we have a workout on Saturday. It's why I say stretch and do self care on Sunday because you keep yourself in that mode of taking care of yourself. This struggle I'm in today is going to be the strength I feel tomorrow. Glute bridge up in phase three, Autumn.
Has added a lot of glute bridges to some of the exercises we were just doing, kind of laying flat in previous phases. And in doing that, I definitely feel my core engaged much more. I actually really like that aspect of phase three.
We will see you guys tomorrow.
Our meal prep game has gotten so strong for ourselves, and we're doing it so quickly now that now we've started doing, like, all meal prep for our kids, too. It's like last night when it was time to make them dinner, it was so much less stressful than it Normally is. And then we were packing their lunches and we're like, the whole fridge is just like all meal prep food. It's not even just groceries. It's great. We do have so many options. And the food that I'm eating is really good. Like, it's satisfying and I'm enjoying it.
I was spending so much money eating out. First of all, I'm having a lot of fun preparing my food and I'm saving quite a bit of money. Anytime I eat out, I'll be like, you know, if I, like, spend a certain amount of money at the grocery store, this is a pretty high percentage of that for one stupid meal.
Happy Tuesday. It's cardio flow. I want you to find the strength to keep going throughout this entire workout. Choose to do hard things because you can. Yeah. I used to hate these ducks, right now they're so easy.
When I first started doing the ducks in phase one, I was barely bending my knees. Now phase three comes around and I am like, banging my knee on the ground because I'm so low.
Hey, it's repeat day.
Woo.
Yeah.
They get excited.
This is the third refeed day, and I do have to say I am excited. I get more yellows. I'm excited to just get more food because I love to eat.
We go left. Get up there. Make those legs burn. It's flying by. Move around and breathe.
My third refeed was really good. It was like a moment for me to realize, you know, I am gonna be able to enjoy my sweets. But it's nice to know, like, I can stop. I was like, eating, but I was like, I could stop right now, which.
Is normally the opposite. It was easier to plan for it. I felt like this time for refeed day, it was like last time I had my notes in front of me and I was like, oh, my gosh, what am I gonna have? And I really had to think about it. And this time I was just kinda like, all right, I know I get four yellows. I'm gonna have a waffle. I'm gonna have bread, and I'm gonna have one sweet treat. Okay, Boom, I'm done. It's like everything in this program, like, the more you do it, the more you get the hang of it.
Like you were kind of saying, it makes you realize that you need to satisfy your sweet tooth. It's good to do, but by the end of the day, I was kind of over the sweet same.
So you're not going to go as high as you go when you're using both Legs, we go down, up, soft landing. You guys turn the toes out. Don't look back and wish that you had done your workout or wish that you did more in your workout. Give it your all right here.
After refee day, I definitely noticed a difference in my energy level during the workout. My endurance feels a little stronger, and I'm able to push a little harder.
You guys remember, though, in phase one, when we got to our heavy day and we were lifting, like, 20s and our forearms were giving out on us work. My forearms are just like, no, now with that 30s and 40s, and we're.
Like, we got this.
You are holding heavy weights. It is small muscles in your forearm. They're working. Make sure when you go get your massage, you say, hey, can you rub my forearms? Like, they're doing a lot of work too. You are working out hard. And where your muscle grows and where all the beauty and the magic happens is when you sleep. Right here is when we're breaking it down. It's when we sleep that it all repairs and recovers. Can't believe it's day 60 already. Can you believe that we only have 20 more days?
It's so crazy.
I think we should add another month to it.
That would be great.
I actually can't believe Day 60 is here. I've made so much progress. I'm excited. I think it's fun. I actually want it to last a little longer.
I can't believe it's been 60 days. None of us have missed. We've all had, like, little colds.
No, I'm saying it.
I'm saying it as a knock on the woods. It sounded really hard and challenging at the beginning to think about making that 80 day commitment, but you feel so good and you feel so strong, and your energy just increases every week. And honestly, it's going by so fast, and I feel like it gets easier and not harder.
I know now we're all like, oh, I'm doing it for another 80 days after so much.
Oh, my gosh.
I just want to keep going.
We're just having fun. I feel like everybody's so in the groove that the workouts are flying by. It's day 60. I don't even know how we got here, but we're here.
Wow. This is a beast of a move to start with, with the warrior form. Yeah.
Who came up with these?
It is hard that the first move of Total Body Core is surrender to shoulder press because it's such a full body movement and you're not really completely warm yet.
Sit up, bridge up. Pull it in. Flip it down. Up.
My favorite move is the half Turkish get up into the push up. Because I feel like I'm a Cirque du Soleil performer.
This is probably the most complex move of the entire program. I introduced all three of those movements to you in different ways individually. And that's how you build a complex movement pattern. We started with regular push ups. We started with renegade rows. We started with a half Turkish get up where you didn't lift the hips up off the ground. I put them all together, but I didn't do it till phase three because you need enough strength and stamina to do it. These are not one that you can rush.
The moves of phase three are definitely more complex, especially more complex than phase one. But I like moves that have a lot more going on because you have so much to focus on and I feel like it goes by faster. Even though you're working really hard.
Gotta challenge yourself. If it doesn't challenge you, not gonna change you. Richardson, do you have two bands? Yeah. Holy beast.
I curled two bands because I have three weeks maybe to go. Why not push a little bit further?
You have to trust that it's a process and take it step by step and know that there's going to be stumbles along the way and there will be plateaus along the way. You don't give up, you work through it and that's how you overcome.
Was really fun to practice our mules because we always try to get as much hang time as we can.
Come. Higher, I'm afraid.
No, I got you.
It's really a challenging move. And the longer you hang up there, the less your thighs have to work.
And that is a good thing. There you go.
There you go.
That does.
Sometimes jumping makes me freak out a little bit.
Yeah.
When you find that hang time, then it's like a couple second break even though you're upside down.
Who's ready for cardio core?
Country heat?
Wrong program. Ride the horse.
Country heat. Whatever. Squeeze those abs. Long line, hips up. Yes. Having fun.
I love cardio core because it's just super high intensity. You can really push yourself. It's just a really good challenge. And I love to get my heart rate up and it's a great time. This part goes by so fast. I don't understand.
Right? Yes. Down, out, hop, out, hop. So my bottom arm is on the floor giving me a little support.
I don't know if the camera shows me on any of the mule kicks.
Set yourself up.
But today was my best day. Of the whole program as far as, like Autumn says, find hang time. And I think part of that's just confidence.
Don't be afraid. Commit to it. That's how you're gonna get there. You can always modify one leg at a time, sticking with carry, but you gotta do the work. You have to stay focused over the weekend. Yes, we have a workout on Saturday, which makes it a little bit easier. The weekend is always the hardest for people to stay on point. We work out on Saturdays, so I think that that's very beneficial to keep people on track for Saturday because it's very easy to go. Great. I still have my workout block. I still have my workout. Bing, bang, boom, and it's Sunday, where people can start to waver because maybe you sleep in, you eat a little bit later in the day, Then you maybe are going out running errands, and they're not thinking, pack their food. So you have to look at the weekend or your rest day or whatever. It may be just like any other day of the week. You get up, you have your first meal, you make your breakfast. If you're going out running errands all day, you better make your food and pack it and take it with you. Being prepared isn't half the battle. It is the battle. You grocery shop, you meal prep, you know what you're having for the week ahead, and you don't let the fact that it's the weekend mean it's a free for all. Welcome to booty day. Drive that knee up, keep the core tight. You want a good booty, you gotta get off of it and work. There's two kinds of pain. There's one that hurts, and there's one that changes you. This one is changing us.
I know this is really hard, and this should be really challenging, but as we're doing it, I'm surprised at how coordinated I feel and how strong I feel, because she demonstrates it and I think, really, you want me to do that? And then I do it, and I'm like, oh, I've grown a lot. I'm capable of this now.
We have come a very long way in 62 days.
Phase three is really kicking my booty, but it's great. I loved phase two because there was a lot of compound movements. So phase three I really, really like because that kind of continues, but it's taken up a notch.
So really think about pulling in. That's where you get that hamstring and butt work.
I'm not surprised that phase three is difficult. Autumn pushes us, and I think It's a great thing. Like, I want to be pushed and challenged because that's definitely helping me get over my plateau.
Exhale out. Enjoy your rest day, and we will see you guys on Monday for week.
Three of phase three.
Oh, my gosh, you guys. These are so fun for me to go back and watch after having filmed the program week 10, we are in the home stretch. Three weeks to go. There's no slowing down now. Keep pushing forward. Keep getting those results. You're doing amazing.
