What's up, everyone? Autumn here. We're doing another Q and A today and I'm taking the questions from comments from my different YouTube videos. So let's jump right into this. What weights do you use in Extreme? That one is from Ellen Nance. That really depends on the person. Everybody has their own fitness and strength level and it's going to be different for every single workout in Extreme. So I would say make sure you have a light set and a heavy set nearby and that's what you would use. Maybe start with like fives and eights or fives and tens, see how they feel and move from there. But that's really going to be just up to whatever your fitness level is. This one is from Crafty Mommy. Thoughts on juicing in the morning?
How do I explain this one? Okay. When it comes to juicing, it's not that I'm not a fan of it because I do use it. Like I was sick a week ago and I went and got my green juice every single day. Try to get those vitamins nutrients pumping through the body. But at the end of the day, I'm a bigger fan of eating the actual food. So I'm a bigger fan of eating the vegetables or eating the fruit so that you get the skin too and the fiber too and all of the nutrients that are in the skin and not just the juice. You'll get more sugar from just drinking the juice. So it's not terrible, but I wouldn't do it every single day. Okay, moving on. This one is from. I don't. I hope I pronounced this name right. Ahiru. Is diet soda allowed if I'm drinking plenty of water? No. No more explanation than that. No, no diet soda. What type of shoes do you wear from Alison McDonald? I'm a Nike girl. All Nikes, all the time. And they are cross trainers. I have like, I don't know, 15 or 20 different pair, but they're always a cross trainer. I like my shoes light and I like them to be snug on my foot. So Nike cross trainers work really, really well for me.
How do you get motivated to do your workouts? Well, that's again, I think that's different for everybody and every single day. Most days I'm just really happy to get up and go to the gym. Like, I get up, I have breakfast, I take my son to school and I'm like dressed for the gym and I go and I'm excited on the days when it's really hard, if I'm tired, if I'm Crabby.
Here's the thing. For me personally, good day or bad day, I'm motivated to work it out. Because for me, my workouts are therapy. Like, I use it to feel good, but I also use it to get out my stress, to get out my anger, to get out my sadness. If I have any of those things going on, they all motivate me to go to the gym. It's usually my music that'll change depending on my mood. If I'm really happy, there's some fun, upbeat stuff. If I'm having a rough day, there's usually like some M and M&2 Chainz playing on my playlist. But I think it's for everybody. It's different for everybody. So you have to find what motivates you to get that workout in every day. Find a special time of day that works for you. Like I said, I'm a morning person. Get that playlist that makes you want to go and put it on and go for the workout. Sometimes it's just new workout shoes. I don't know. Do you guys remember when you were kids and you get like a new pair of shoes and you're like, I can run faster. Whenever I get new shoes, I'm like taking them to the gym for a workout. So it's different for everybody. Hopefully some of those things will motivate you. Okay, last question. Is the eating plan open to interpretation? If by open to interpretation you mean picking from the food lists and eating off of those, then sure. Otherwise, no, the plan is there. You guys. I've taken all the guesswork out for you. All you have to do is follow it. Alright, so there it is. Those are the answers to a few more of your questions. I hope they helped. If you haven't heard, my new program is officially out. 21 day fix extreme. If you haven't checked it out, the link is below. I hope you guys love it. Get ready to get extreme. Bye.
