What's up, bod peeps? Autumn here, and I am answering your questions. Let's have some fun. I just started 21 Day Fix, and I'm having a really tough time keeping up with the workouts. What suggestions do you have? Okay, so there's a couple of things that you can do if you're new to 21 Day Fix and you're struggling to keep up with the workouts. First, I always recommend following the modifier follow Kat. She's fantastic, and she's a great place for you to start when you're just getting into the workouts. And second, make sure you're using a weight that's appropriate for you. So if you're using a little bit heavier weight and you're finding that it's a little bit too difficult, you can drop down in weights or use no weights to start off with. And then lastly, what I say is, you know, even if you don't finish the full 30 minutes on your first go round, that's okay. You do as much as you can do and you continue to build, and you're gonna get stronger every day, and it's gonna get a little bit easier every single day. And when it does get easier, you're gonna p a little bit harder. So if you are following the modifier, you're gonna step it up and follow me, or if you are using lighter weights, you're gonna step it up and use a little bit heavier. But it's okay to start with no weights, it's okay to follow the modifier, and it's okay if you don't finish the full 30 minutes the first time around. Okay, next question. How often should I weigh myself while doing 21 Day Fix? Ah, I hate the scale. I hate, hate, hate the scale because so many people base their opinions of themselves on that number on the scale, and it's just not true. So if you're using the scale as one of your tools for modifying your progress or for measuring your progress, that's okay. But you're going to weigh yourself on day one, and you're going to weigh yourself on day 21. Other than that, I really say stay off the scale. You can measure your progress in so many other ways. You can measure it by, how does the workout feel that day? Does it feel a little bit easier? How do your clothes fit? Do they feel a little bit looser? How does your energy feel? Are you sleeping better at night? Are you using heavier weights? There are so many other tools that you can use to measure progress other than just the scale. So day one, day 21. Other than that, stay off of it. Can you share why you created the Active Maternity Series for bod? Oh, absolutely. Okay, so the Active Maternity Series for Beachbody on Demand is basically the prenatal and postnatal series that I created. I'm a mom myself. I worked out throughout my entire pregnancy with my son. It definitely made my pregnancy easier. It made getting into shape after having him that much easier. But what I really found was we were getting asked constantly for it. People all the time wanted to know, what could they do while they were pregnant. Could they do 21 day fix? Could they do 21 day fix extreme? So it was really just a need that we hadn't provided yet, which is why we wanted to put it out there for all those mommies to be as well as the ladies who have recently just had babies and are looking for something to do before they jump into a program like 21 Day Fix or 21 Day Fix Extreme. So the Active Maternity Series will take you through the pregnancy and then postpartum before you jump into a full program. How do you get yourself to work out when you just aren't feeling motivated? Okay, so here's the deal. I like working out. Like I look forward to it. I know not everybody has that same mentality. Some people really just don't enjoy working out. For me, I do. So even on my worst day, even when I'm in a bad mood, I know my workout is going to make me feel better. That doesn't mean there aren't days where I'm just like, eh, my heart's not in it. One, it's my job and I love it. So there's that motivation. Two, it keeps me energized to keep up with my son. So there's that motivation. There's knowing that I'm inspiring so many other people out there. So there's that motivation. I believe in practicing what I preach. So it's really hard for me to go out and tell all of you to work out and push play every single day if I'm not doing it myself. So there's a lot of different things that will motivate me to go do my workout. But in general, I enjoy it. So I look forward to my workouts. Okay, let's see. I love 21 Day Fix. How will I know when I'm Ready to try 21 Day Fix Extreme? When 21 Day Fix starts to get too easy for you? So if you're doing the 21 day fix workouts and you notice you're not sweating as much, you're not breathing as heavy, you've already bumped your weights up several times and it's just not that much of a challenge anymore. You haven't gotten sore in a while. Maybe you're getting a little bit bored so you lose interest faster. That's when it's time to change it up and step it up to 21 day fix extreme. What's your favorite ab workout move? My all time favorite ab workout move is actually one that unfortunately I haven't been able to include in 21 day fix or 21 day fix extreme. But we did get to put it in the master's hammer and chisel. It's hanging abs, so holding onto a pull up bar and doing knee lifts. Love it. Targets it. Awesome. It's my favorite. How often should I take a rest day? Once a week. Once a week. I say, unless maybe you've just been going hard core heavy, beating your body up for at least, you know, 60 days or more, then it's okay to take a two or three day break. But I say nothing more than three days. Otherwise you kind of start to get out of your groove and out of your flow. Thanks for joining me. I had a blast. I hope you guys did too. I'll see you next time. Bye.
