Hey, everyone. Autumn here. Thanks for joining me in the kitchen. Today we are talking about healthy snacks. When it comes to being healthy and fit, it's not just about what you do in the gym. It's really about what you do here. Being prepared is not half the battle, you guys. It is the entire battle. If you're not prepared, you're failing already because you're not gonna have what you need to eat. When you're going to the grocery store, make a list, think about what you want for your healthy snacks and then you gotta come home and prep it. I pulled out some of my favorite snacks and I'm showing you how I prep them so that I'm good to go for the week. Let's start with bell peppers. Slice it up, put it in here. Use the snack size bag because it's automatically going to give you portion control. I've taken a little bit of hummus, just about a tablespoon. I threw it in there. Take the two of them, throw them in a bag with an ice pack. I'm ready to go. The other thing I did is baby carrots. So same thing using the snack bags. It's ready to go. Put it in the fridge. I can take that with the hummus as well. Another one I like to do is cherry tomatoes. They're bite sized, they're easy to eat, especially in the car when I'm running around all day between clients and picking son up. And then there's my fruit that I like. So apples. It's just one apple. It's sliced up. I put it in the bag. Another thing I did was sliced up some strawberries and threw some blueberries in here. I can pass this to my son in the backseat after school when he's hungry. For a healthy snack in here, I've done trail mix and I made this one myself. So this one has raw almonds, dried cranberries, and I took one square of a dark chocolate bar and broke it up and put it in here just for a little treat on the palate. I would not eat all of this for one snack. Guys, remember, nuts are good for you, but a little bit higher in calories and fat so you don't want to eat more than 10 to 15 at a time. Another one I did was Greek yogurt. Same thing, super easy. Throw it in your bag, grab a plastic spoon, bring it with you. Protein bars. I keep these on hand. I can throw it in my purse. Check the ingredients. If there's stuff on there you can't pronounce, probably pass on that one and find one that has a few ingredients and all stuff that you recognize. Guys, like I said, having it all prepared, that is the battle. So make that grocery list. Know what you like. Come home, take 10 or 15 minutes in the kitchen to have everything prepped for the week so that you can just grab it and go. These are my healthy snacks. If you have any that you want to share with us, please leave it in the comments below and check back again with me soon. I'll see you next time.
