What's up, everyone? Autumn here. We're hanging out in the kitchen today. One of the big questions I get is what do I eat? Especially when I'm on the run. So I'm showing you guys one of my fun, yummy breakfast treats. It is a vegan chocolate Shakeology breakfast bar. We're getting messy here with the Shakeology. I'm using both hands, so both arms get a workout. Vegan chocolate. It's my favorite. Yum. So here's what you need. You need two cups of rolled oats. You need a half a cup of shredded unsweetened coconut. You need a quarter cup of chopped walnuts and a quarter cup of raisins. I put them both in the same bowl. You need one cup of unsweetened almond milk. I'm not gonna tilt that forward or we'll have a mess. And you need half a cup of organic all natural peanut butter. So I'm gonna start with the oats, coconut, and the nuts and the raisins. We're just gonna mix all those up together really well in the bowl. Now that those are mixed up, I'm gonna add in the yummy vegan chocolate Shakeology is my favorite.
Gold. The scoop was on top. Never happens. Count our blessings today. 1, 2. So you need four scoops of the vegan chocolate shakeology. 3.
Last one right here are these.
Mix that in with your other dry ingredients. If you are ever in the kitchen with my grandma, you would know you mix everything with your hands. So we're gonna add in the milk, and we're gonna add in the peanut butter.
Make sure you get it all out of the bowl.
Mm. That's what happens in my kitchen. I'm going in. We're mixing with our hands. You just get in there and you mix it all up. Use your knuckles. It's a trick I learned from grandma. Don't play favorites. Use both hands. Just get messy. Now that I am all mixed up here and dirty, I've got my mix for my healthiest meal of the day. It's your daily dose of dense nutrition. You're gonna press it into a pan, cookie sheet, whatever you've got that you want to press it into, because it's gonna need to go in the refrigerator after this. So scoop that bowl out. Make sure you got all that yummy goodness out of there. And now you're just gonna press it into your pan. Make sure you get it even. Get it in the corner, guys. The recipe calls for an 8x8 inch baking pan. I think this One's a little bit bigger, honestly. But that's alright. Use what you got. So your bar might be a little bit thinner if you're using a bigger pan because you've pressed it out more. I know you guys are sitting here watching, anxiously anticipating. Is she gonna tell me what it counts for on the fix? Yes. It's equal to one yellow, a half of a blue, and a half of a red. The recipe makes 12 bars and that's what one bar counts for. I'm gonna rinse my hands first, then I'm gonna put it in the refrigerator. It's gonna sit for three hours so that it gets nice and hard and then you can cut them into bars. You want to make sure you keep them stored in the refrigerator. But like I said, when you're in a hurry, you grab one and go. You can have one. You can give one to the kids. Easy to eat in the car.
