Yoga And Naturopathy

Badarinath Gella moderates a discussion on yoga and naturopathy for spiritual awakening and health. The speaker presents Dr. B. Venkat Rao's five principles: two meals daily, two liters of water, one hour exercise, twice-daily prayer, and weekly fasting. Case studies show naturopathy's role in recovery from osteomalacia, polio, and COVID-19.
Chapters
That extends beyond the physical material self. So, is it clear? Am I audible? Extends beyond the physical. Yeah. So, at its core, it is the pursuit of understanding of life's ultimate meaning. purpose and our relationship to a broader, fundamentally what we commonly use the word is consciousness. So how do we understand this consciousness? And in our understanding, where are we today? So spirituality focuses entirely on this inner subjective experience of the individual. So, you cannot perceive consciousness from any other external tool. It has to be perceived through our inner awakening. So, the understanding of whatever through our sense perception, because through human body only we can understand the consciousness ultimately. So human body should not be seen as an obstruction. At the same time, how it can be made an instrument is the crux of our discussion today. So in that process, how yoga and naturopathy— because these two are inseparable sciences which have Given humanity a best possible way to awaken this spiritual quotient in human life. So what is spiritual awakening? It is beyond the ego-driven self to experience a deeper connection with the universe. So how this deeper connection can be established? that requires a kind of inner peace, and only then maybe we will be able to understand the higher dimensions of consciousness. So this inner peace which will reduce the vibrations— the very definition of naturopathy also is the harmonious vibrations that come from within the body While it is dealing with the vibrations of the universe around, so it is one and the same. So how do we do that? For that, we have to first make our body clean. A toxic body or a restless body or even an overstimulated mind cannot take us anywhere close to spiritual. Clarity. So this spiritual clarity requires a clean body. A sound body can only host a sound mind. So just now I was just overhearing Badrinath Ji talking about the annamaya kosha and pranamaya kosha and then manomaya kosha. How pranamaya kosha Links this Manomayakosha and Anamayakosha as a mediator. Similarly, and we have to go higher realms where we even go to Vijnanamayakosha and also Anandamayakosha. That is the ultimate purpose of these sciences. So using yoga, the mind-spirit discipline, And naturopathy, the body-nature alignment, is both work as complementary things to each other. So we all know that yoga means it's not just asanas or not even pranayama; it's much more than that. And how these energy channels through ida, pingala, and sushumna nadis. How they clear the blockages in the 84 lakhs of channels that are there in the body. So this also requires chakra activation. And if one may, you know, know more about the Kundalini energy, which is located at the base of the spine, and then it passes through and finally Makes our intuition better. The intuitive abilities allow us to see the right and the wrong. The विज्ञानमय कोशा gets activated there, and our discriminatory power and what to take and what not to take into itself comes with this intuition. Even without actually checking it, we know for sure that this is not for us. We don't want to waste our time in the sense that this lifetime is fully utilized for the purpose that it is meant. So the asanas, the pranayama, all even the alternate breathing and Digesting, digestion process and elimination process. And if we are spending more of our vital energy towards this, then the cellular repair gets dampened. So forget about spiritual contemplation, we will be dealing only with the body all the time. So hydrotherapy, some of these mud therapies, some of these sunbaths, even massage—all these therapies which are element-based. I mean, पंचमहाभूतस. So पृथ्वी, आकाश—all these five great elements that are helpful in cleaning the system. And making it pure and pure and pure day by day by practice. The purification is the foundation of naturopathy, and yoga—it stabilizes whatever is purified. So by eliminating toxins, physical restlessness is established by naturopathy. And stilling the thoughts, yoga expands the consciousness. And vitality is preserved by naturopathy way of life, and yoga facilitates a deeper meditation and allows transcendence. So friends, naturopathy and yoga go hand in hand in that way. With naturopathy, you help clean the system and keep body's vital energy intact, while yoga stabilizes it. And the created clean, clean environment allows us to focus more and meditate better so that we understand The vibrations that are coming through our system, they are known as sankaras, they are known as experiences, the bodily experiences that come through with which we understand which way our mind is working. And that is possible only through the regular practice, both the naturopathy way of life And also practice of yoga. A yoga person can never say, I've done yoga. We are not doing yoga, we are continuously practicing. It's not the— you have completed 10th, then you don't have to read those 10th class books. No. The yoga practitioner is a practitioner forever, and it's a continuous process. Because the way we collect through food, water, and through environment toxins every day— every day we have to clean it. The mind also collects a lot of memories. So these memories need to be continuously cleaned. That requires regular practice of meditation. So the key takeaways From this understanding is body is the temple. So there is no external temple in this spiritual awakening. Your body is the vessel through which one can experience the consciousness, and nature is the guru. We don't have to go in search of Gurus, the nature around, and our own internal nature that keeps teaching us all the time. So, the Guru is the inner, internal nature of the Self itself. So, what is required is the commitment to Self. Awakening is not sudden destination, but a daily practice of purification, And awareness to this purification. So, just to quote the Vedas or the Vedic concept: Om Purnamadah, Purnamidam, Purnat, Purnamudachyate, Purnasya, Purnamadaya, Purnameva Vasishyate. Om shanti shanti shanti. That is whole and complete. This is also whole and complete. From that completeness, this completeness comes. Even when completeness is taken from completeness, completeness alone remains. That is the meaning of this. पूर्णमदा श्लोक। so it is like a mother giving birth to a baby. a mother who gives birth to a baby is never deprived of anything. the baby is complete, the mother also is complete. so the the universe goes on forever and ever. So that is the, I think, final essence of the practice of naturopathy and yoga. And one should not see it at the level of just body. I think I'll stop it here and we can have discussion further.
Wow, thank you, thank you so much. Thank you so much for explaining the essence Of this, ma'am. Just one minute. Yes, I I want all of you to type your takeaways in the chat box. What was your takeaway for the last twenty minutes? Type it in chat box. They complement each other. Yoga and naturopathy great. We are part of the whole. Very deep subject. Body processes its innate ability, an innate ability to restore the health and balance of its own. Our bodies, our temples. Remove the toxicity first and get the benefits. So I think more than that, you need to have a like why you want to be healthy. So that was a discussion, right? So you need to have a clarity on why do you want to be healthy and what is purification of body plus yoga practice. Body is a mandir and nature of our very very good very good very good. Yes yes excellent. So ma'am like now that you have spoken about this. Now people, if they like— also, we are also giving a lot of practical, um, like homeworks or assignments or like practical tips or lifestyle modifications which they can implement into their life that can bring them a lot of change in their health. So what I observed was, even like, to be honest, I am also— if you ask me 4 years ago About naturopathy, I was not aware. There is something called naturopathy, right? So like many people were unaware of what is naturopathy. So how does the naturopathy looks at the root cause behind lifestyle-related health problems? Nowadays, today, all the health problems are most of them are lifestyle health problems. How does the naturopathy looks?
Naturopathy looks. at lifestyle as going away from nature results in disease, going close to nature removes disease. I mean, health is actually guaranteed.
Hmm.
There you are naturally healthy. And Disease is temporary, transient. Even if you want some ill health to be there for some more time, you cannot have. The repair happens automatically, and this is nature-guaranteed thing. That's why I'm telling again, naturopathy, for that matter science, it says that health is It's bound to happen.
Hmm.
So, in our day-to-day life, in modern life, we are going away from nature. Say for example, these constructed houses, cement constructed houses, say for example, they are not breathing. And the very breath— we are stifled all the time. And most of the time we are dwelling in those houses. And, and then ambient air quality. If you see, we use a lot of perfumes, we use mosquito repellers, we use chemical detergents to keep the floor clean, and then the paints that we use. And in every act of our life, we are going away and away from nature. So how many ways we are going away, we have to be mindful of it, and that many ways we have to go close to nature. Take time to go to nature. So take out your chappal and walk on soil, earthing, because we— human body produces lot of energy, energy in terms of electricity. Even our thoughts create, produce so much of electricity. So how are we actually diffusing it? The way in regular electricity we have earthing, right? But do we have— are we practicing it with the human body? No, we wear chappal and we think mud is dirt. And we go into sun wearing sunscreen lotions. What an irony! We are going away from nature. As such, we are not getting these things. And when we go there also, we go with all these protection. Protection from what? So instead of going towards nature, we are going away and away. So I only request all. of you to, you know, make an effort to understand how many ways we are going away from nature. And how do I go close to nature? And this is the fundamental principle with which you can gauge yourself, what is your lifestyle.
Hmm.
And eat only when hungry. And sleep when you get sleep.
Wow.
And in nature, there's nothing like competition. It's only cooperation, particularly in human, uh, I mean, where we use our brain. The more competition, uh, talks about elimination and removal, violence, whereas cooperation will allow you to think how, how many ways you can understand this situation and how you deal with it, how do you negotiate with it. So then the stress of elimination and loss and all that, you know, and then later guilt and repentance and all those, you know, negative toxic burden can in one go be dealt with. I would say only that much, you know. It is highly individual-specific. We cannot generalize, but generalization happens, uh, in urban, uh, cities. But, uh, we— when it's not needed, I think we should go back and then live close to nature wherever possible, whenever possible.
Yes. So my second question to you is What are the common? See, like nowadays people are only like interested on like physical diseases, physical health problems. Then only they become alert towards their health, right? Considering all of those, what are the common conditions that naturopathic can play supportive role or like crucial role in healing? What are the conditions? Like is it diabetes, obesity, fatty liver, BP? Digestive issues, what kind of issues?
Oh, see, there it's like there is no condition where naturopathy cannot help because it is nature. As I said, that disease is an aberration, it's temporary. So since nature— you go back to nature, then you will become normal. And what is normal for that matter? What is normal to you is not normal to me. But then we have— again, this is little— I think we are maybe diverting. This is not a proper forum to discuss, but then anyway, I will quickly try to make you understand. There is nothing called normal and there is nothing called abnormal also. It's all in our perception. And there is this guy, uh, Ken Gulliam, a British scientist. He studied a tribal population where their average blood glucose levels— I'm talking about, since you use the word diabetes, I am tempted to give this example. And their average blood glucose level is anywhere around 40 milligrams per 100 dilutions, which is considered very, very low. And an ordinary Londoner would fall off on the ground, you know, with that. And but then these tribal people, they're working well, and then they're warriors, and then they go out into high Hunting, fishing, and trekking, and then going on horses, and all that. At with that forty, you know, count. So is it normal for them? It's normal for them. Will that be normal for a Londoner? No, it's not normal. So so what is normal? And all our normals that we are seeing now. with which we are calling something as abnormal is based on average healthy American, uh, young male, white male. How can that be normal for me in India, a female? And you know, we are neither black nor white and British. And so there— and that's why the personalized medicine has come now. So nothing is considered, you know, comparable. So why we should carry this burden of calling ourselves? You know, I am diabetic. I am hypertensive. I am cardiac patient. I, all right. Patient themselves will come and then tell us I am cardiac patient. All right. Everybody is having a heart. You know, heart also keeps changing with age. So accept it and then do it only to that extent that you are capable of doing. But then that requires a total understanding and also live within your— keep your body mobile, active, eat when hungry, and then fast once in a while. Keep your, you know, and not to get emotionally upset, for which you have to develop a philosophy of life. So this has to be nurtured since childhood, and all diseases can be dealt by naturopathy. During COVID we have seen so many success stories. Not one naturopath died of COVID whereas there are n number of other systems of medicines where doctors— not that naturopaths did not work in COVID barriers. I mean, they were there in the forefront. They were also actively working with ICU conditions and COVID hospitals because— and in one Pune, one hospital, allopathy hospital completely, Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital. But then the director there Dr. Kelkar, he is very much convinced of Jalaneti. Okay, so he understood the problem of— even from allopathic point of view, the problem of COVID is only the respiratory issue. It is coming only through nose. So he made all the employees and all the doctors before entering into the duty to do Jalaneti and then come. Okay. And no doctor died there also.
Wow.
So this kind of examples are there, and there are other COVID hospitals also. I'm giving COVID as an example because that is the now latest memory we all have, and which was quite a traumatic experience for many. But Live a simple naturopathy life, one can be— one can easily gain back what is lost. I mean, if that is lost means what is it that is lost? The vitality. Only when vital energy goes down, then the disease takes upper hand. Otherwise, till such a time, body is quite capable of handling it.

Where, like, what kind of therapies you have recommended them? What kind of lifestyle changes you have recommended them that helped them? Can you give us any example of one of the patients?
Yeah, there are so many, but okay, I'll give one example where there was this lady who was taking treatment from Apollo, Hyderabad. At that time I was working in Hyderabad with Red Cross Institute. So she came there, she was brought in a wheelchair, and then, then we realized that the disease that was diagnosed was osteomalacia. That means the bones become supple, soft, can't even stand and hold anything. So it was that bad. Then when we went into the history of her lifestyle and all that, her husband was working as a mining engineer in Madhya Pradesh. Our Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, and Araku, Vishakhapatnam, that area, there is this train also that goes which brings a lot of coal and all that. Iron mining, you know. So this man, he was staying in the in situ residential accommodation. So every day some twenty ton trucks were going around their house. You know, you you understand how a loaded vehicle keeps going and round the clock. 24/7. There are— because they work in shifts, so the vehicles keep moving all the time. So the fear of that sound or irritation, she would never come out of the house. She would lock up and close all windows also to arrest the sound. So for 20 years she lived a life like that. And with that, she developed this problem. And even in Apollo, doctors could not do anything. They tried to give some calcium, but at that time, you know, calcium also— body cannot just take calcium as, you know, supplement and then reverse the whole thing. Okay, we thought, okay, we'll try, we'll see. Anyway, there's no point in going home also. We'll keep her here. So we started giving her simple til oil massages and make her sit in sun and give her steam baths. And it was winter, pains were more for her. Then in 2 months' time, step by step, she started improving. And we were giving her ragi malt and then in between I mean sparing her meals and keeping six to eight hours gap between meals. So we were in a way now you are using the word intermittent fasting, but then that was not correct according to naturopathy. However, and we were giving her one time raw food. Only when raw food is given, it is also known as अपक्वाहाराद्वैता। So your body, like any other animal in universe, cannot have cooked food, right? Can any animal cook food and eat? No. We were also animals. So when body is so compromised, the best way is to put them on uncooked food. So we started giving her one time only uncooked. I mean boiled vegetable this. Fruits, vegetables, sprouts, and things like that. And one time only ragi malt. And before going to bed, buttermilk to improve her gut microbiote. So she improved so well, she even played shuttle later. And before we discharged her, she played— we used to have evening discussions like this. Used to call Shyam Darbar, and she would tell everybody you know that she would walk herself and come there and play and do yoga. We started giving her again breathing, starting with breathing techniques. So this kind of things, I mean. But Dr. Venkat Rao, he treated even smallpox. The last case of smallpox was treated in Hyderabad, the naturopathy hospital. बेगम पेट हाँ सो और there is one infantile polio that is for children they get polio right six year old boy he got polio he was brought and both legs were affected mother brought and six months he stayed there and he was treated he became all right He became a neuroscientist. He himself came to show that he took treatment here and he just sustained with the one foot drop. Whereas the modern medicine will not accept that once you get polio, it can be treated. But then this man was treated and his mother, she herself got trained in naturopathy. And her daughter, that means the sister of this person, also is a naturopath. She's still there in Hyderabad. You can even talk to her, Dr. Vijayalakshmi Reddy.
Wow.
So there are many such stories. Only thing is naturopathy is not like— commercial promotions are not happening, and, and there is no much money. In fact, you have to do it yourself and give credit to naturopathy. So that is the challenge.
Yes, yes. Thank you, thank you so much, ma'am. And many people— I'm just— I have sent a question and answer form and they were asking, uh, like, can you— could you please guide us with few tools and techniques, practical tools, and one implement day-to-day life? I have already mentioned already, but yeah, like, I think—
yeah, no, I will tell Dr. Venkat Rao. Uh, incidentally, this is the centenary year of Dr. B. Venkat Rao. Who started this hospital in Mirpet and also a college in 1969. He came up with आरोग्य रक्षक पंचतंत्र. So this आरोग्य रक्षक पंचतंत्र, after 40 years of his practice in naturopathy, he came up with this and Government of India published it in all 14 languages later. So the first principle is eat two meals a day. The second is drink minimum eight glasses of water. The third principle is do at least one hour exercise. The fourth one is pray twice a day. Pray or meditate, whatever. Then the fifth one is. Fast once a week. So, and the lot of you know papers published on this five health principles of Dr. Venkat Rao whether is scientifically you know valid. Yeah, it's very well validated and almost there there is one. diabetic reversal expert in, again, in Pune. He talks only about 2 meals a day. Just stick to 2 meals a day, you can forget about your diabetes. Okay. And also hypertension. Then, and why 8 glasses of water? That is 2 liters of water. For all our bodily functions, we require water. Hydration is very, very important. And we have to be mindful of it. Otherwise, we tend to ignore, and that may result in concentration of the blood and acidic tendency will increase in the body. Then exercise. Exercise is not for calorie burning. It is not to reduce weight, but exercise is to repair. With exercise, you take in more oxygen into the system. So body, when it becomes hypoxic, with exercise you infuse more oxygen into the system. So your cells start breathing better. So the repair happens better with exercise. In fact, exercise is food for cells. Then fasting. Fasting is a cleansing agent. Fasting is again not for weight reduction or not to cut food for any other reason. It is to cleanse the system. You allow autophagy, even got a Nobel Prize. So it is such an important tool in keeping a body internally clean. And prayer, Dr. Venkataraman, in his own words, if I tell you, He says, even someone gives us any gift or do any favor, we immediately thank them. But for this life that is given by this universe or God or even parents, so how many people you want to thank for existing and to be able to, you know, plan for the day? So in the morning, You sit, pray, and then offer your— pray means, see, particularly Gandhian prayers are not like puja. In puja, you become more egoistic. In community prayers, when we do it with people along, you become much more humble. You also understand that we all are equally vulnerable. Whoever, a president or prime minister or a millionaire or billionaire, ultimately the human suffering is same for all. So that feeling you get when you do prayers and the sharing and understanding and you become more and more humane, the humility comes within. Automatically, and the compassion grows. So for that, doing prayer morning and evening, at least at the end of the day, again understand what all you have done during the day and is there any scope for you to improve. So that is contemplation that is required. So these are 5 health principles I would advise all of you to practice, even if you have any health problems. Over a period of time, you can get rid of them. I will repeat: two meals a day, two liters of water per day, one hour exercise, twice meditation, and fast once a week. Hmm.
Awesome, awesome, awesome. Thank you. Thank you so much, ma'am. These are very, very simple things. I think doesn't require any money also. To do this. Absolutely. Yeah, they did not ask us to buy something.
All that nature cure requires is determination and will to do and take responsibility to yourself.
Sometimes people take it for granted when the things doesn't require any money. For example, if doctor says like you go and get it operated for five lakh rupees and all, then they'll take it seriously. And these all are very, very easy, simple, practical, uh, like things which you can implement on day-to-day life. Anyway you are eating, but eat for 2 meals. Anyway you're drinking water, make sure that you are drinking at least 2 liters of water. Anyway, um, like, uh, like you have to do the movement, so try to do 1 hour of movement or whatever way, whatever form, whatever way you wish to do that. Yes. Meditation, like just sit still, take some time to go inward, and prayer. And I think that has to become a part of your lifestyle as well. So thank you, thank you so much for these practical tips, because many people I see that in the questions also they're asking about psoriasis, they're asking about diabetes, they're asking about so many different kinds of health issues. The only, like as ma'am has already told, right now the pancha Like pancha, like pancha. आरोग्य रक्षक का पंचतंत्र। पंचतंत्रास या आरोग्य रक्षक का पंचतंत्रास। I recommend all of you to implement this, implement this for some months, and then you will automatically see they are subsidizing, right? Without you implementing, how many people you ask, it's not going to help you. At the end, we have to do our work. Either take medicine or do something which can help us, like which can help body to heal. Like her body to move into the mode of healing. Yes, excellent, excellent. Thank you, thank you so much. Thank you so much for all the, uh, like, and we got an opportunity. Just wanted to tell all of you, we got an opportunity to take our students to Naturopathy Institute. That was the first time I have taken, um, uh, like I did my retreat. I still remember that day, and I know some of the students are already here. Is anybody here? who attended, who are part of NIN retreat type.
Yeah, I hear. I mean, just for information I'm sharing and you guys can plan. And at Zero, we offer a 1-week self-health reliance program through natural remedy. How one can— so in this 1 week, A person who comes here will be exposed to all naturopathy therapies, and also the fundamentals of naturopathy is taught, and some tips about the therapeutic yoga and simple naturopathy therapies that one can employ for day-to-day health problems. दायनंदिना आरोग्यलक्ष्मी So, uh, it's just a 5 to 7 days program, and it's a beautiful country here. It's a small town with 40,000 population, very cool, um, quiet, nice place. You, you, you are quite aware of it.
Yes.
But it is much, much better, uh, than earlier days. The food is quite natural here. There are no pesticides, no fertilizers used. So good food and people are nice. And quality— air quality index is just around 20-30.
Hmm.
Simultaneously, it's around 300 or 400 in Hyderabad and 700 to 800 in Delhi. Imagine, naturally you become healthy.
Got it, got it. So Dhiro is in, uh, Dhiro Valley is in Arunachal Pradesh. Uh, all of you, like, people who are asking for the address, uh, like, it's, it's in the institute only, ma'am? Is it in the institute?
Yeah, in the institute. We don't have accommodation, but here there are many homestays and then, uh, these things available depending on, uh, the, um, you know, purse. You be— that can be arranged. We have a kind of a tie-up with these organizations, and so accommodation should not be a problem. But food is organized by our institute. Food, treatment, classes, and everything will be done by our doctors.
Great, great. So thank you, thank you so much. I think internet and everything facility, all the facilities are available, I believe.
Oh yes, very much. I mean Yes, yes, very much.
Yeah.
It's quite advanced that way. There is nothing— I was quite skeptical when I came here. I thought I'll just see and then if it is, only then I'll stay, I thought. But this is actually heaven-like. You have everything that you look for at the same time. Quite nice, and people are very, very cooperative.
Yes, thank you. Thank you so much, ma'am. So the people whoever is asking, like it's a zero valley, as I said, in Arunachal Pradesh. The institute name is Indira Gandhi Technology and Medical Sciences University. Indira Gandhi Technology and Medical Sciences University. Technological.
Indira Gandhi Technological and Medical Sciences University. Yes, Vice Chancellor there. There is a naturopathy hospital and naturopathy college, and we have many other courses. Since we are discussing about naturopathy, we also have nursing, we also have physiotherapy, we also have lab technician courses, MBA, engineering, and all that.
Yeah, great. And how many people, the treatments they can accommodate? Approximately.
Depends. I told you, no, uh, in Ziro you have accommodation available only during this music festival which will now happen 24th to 27th. Uh, it's very tough to get any accommodation, but once that is over, it will be available. There are plenty, plenty. So at least 15 to 20 people can comfortably come as a group So that that team don't plan for hundreds of people. I know your scale, but you know any learning has to be proper. It has to happen with small small groups, and so that it it will be more binding.
Yes, perfect perfect. Thank you thank you so much ma'am for all your inputs and for adding this value. And I want all of you like to implement that Arya Garaksha Pancha Tantra before I bring her again. And I want to see you all implementing and sharing that with ma'am once again. And thank you, thank you so much once again. So all of you please unmute yourself and express our gratitude to ma'am.
Thank you, ma'am. Thank you very much. Thank you so much for the information. The wonderful questions or anything you can even have. Thank you, ma'am.
Thank you.
Sorry, yeah, you're saying something now. Yeah, now you can unmute again.
You got muted. Yes, no, I'm just saying in case if there are any, um, you know, major inputs required or Any more discussions on the subject that we have discussed? We can have one more session also. Now that I am a little more free here, I can spare time, so we can organize that.
Yes, yes. Next one, we want only question and answers to happen.
Yes, we'll make it more interactive, but not about diseases. Let's, uh, let's—
most of the questions I see like today, because, uh, everything is about diseases only, then I thought like you already gave the Uh, like action points for them to come out of that disease, like psoriasis, BP, psychosomatic pain, like epilepsy, neurological problems, Parkinson's disease. So most of them, uh, most of the questions are related to disease. So, um, and the— and also you also mentioned that people think more about their disease and their disease is increasing.
Yes, yes.
They're thinking very less about, uh, like Healing. So their focus is more going more towards the disease rather than healing. That is also one of the challenge which I have observed in many people. Yeah, true. Perfect, perfect. Thank you, thank you so much.
Meditate more on disease, then we are bound to get disease.
Yes, please. Thank you, thank you so much.
Okay, good night. Again, congratulations on 4th anniversary. Thank you so much.
Thank you. Yes. Bye bye. So perfect. So everyone type thank you in the chat box, and now we'll shift gears to the next session. Next session is going to be healing session, and before that, I think I want all of you to again type it in the chat box. What are the five principles ma'am has mentioned? Type it in the chat box. How many of remember? I don't want. I want these principles to go deep. If you want, you can make the note of these principles and stick it to you the wall. Stick it to the fridge, wherever you feel like. Every day you have to look into that. Every day you have to implement those. Then your disease reversal is guaranteed. Your disease reversal is guaranteed when you start implementing whatever we are saying, right? So let's let's let us revise what are the pointers she has mentioned. Two meals a day, very good. Two liters of water. Like I'll tell you my experience. I went to NIN National Institute of Naturopathy. We took we and a group of people. Almost sixty of our members, diamond members, sixty of our diamond members together we went to the NIN National Institute of Naturopathy. So there we got all the therapies also for our students, and there the meal timings were ten thirty a.m. and also in the evening five thirty. In between they give some fruits, like for example around one o'clock they give some fruits that also helped us, and two liters of water please. Make sure that you are prioritizing this water. Just drinking water two liters alone can see like can bring lot of improvement in your health. Very good. And what is the third one? Third one she has mentioned. Third principle: meditate. Meditate twice a day. Meditation has to be part of your life. Right, meditation is not about overthinking. Don't overthink in meditation. If you can't meditate, at least do breathing practice. Breathing is also meditation, right? Become aware of your breath. Just observe your breath. What is happening? How is your breathing? Like, focus on your breath. That itself a meditation that can calm down your mind. Yeah, and exercise, right? Anyway, if you are a part of Diamond membership, like, we daily have exercise classes every day, morning 6 to 7 AM, evening 6 to 7 PM. Its very body is made up for movement. Our body is made to move, not to just sit. Make sure that you are prioritizing your exercise. Whether you are doing yoga, whether you are doing gym, whether you are going for a walk, whether you are going for running, doesn't matter. But exercise has to be part of your life. Don't be lazy when you are doing daily activities. If you want to go and turn on the fan, go and do by yourself. If you have staircase to take, try to use staircase. If it is one floor, two floors, whatever you are comfortable, try to integrate this into your lifestyle. If you have to take time separately, many people say that I don't have time. Though you have, like if you do all these practices, you will have more time, to be frank. Yeah. So please make sure that you are doing, you are integrating exercise as part of your life, and we'll take the one minute stretch break as well right now. And fast once a week. Some of them are asking about the question on like how to fast, right? So the fasting is a very, very subjective thing. Fasting is a very, very subjective thing. You—it's depending on your health conditions, depending on your health condition. If you have IBS, we don't like we cannot ask you to do the fasting like whatever way we wish. That's why in Diamond membership you have a dedicated naturopathy doctor. In CBH, we believe in nature healing. We don't believe in drug-based medicine. That's why if you see, I did not even— I did not even bring any Ayurveda, like Ayurveda into CBH, though we talk about Ayurvedic principles, because that is also drug-based medicine, right? So we mainly want to focus on natural naturopathy medicine, nature-based medicine. Right, we have seen thousands of like hundreds of our students coming out of their IBAs, PATELever. Like any any diamond members like who are here, like tell us like what kind of changes have you seen? Let me bring I think Rajesh ji. Go ahead. I know that you are here. Yeah, Rajesh Chanda Chanda. Yes. So what changes have you seen? Like what can like how has been your experience? Yes, go ahead.
It's very, very inspiring. I am feeling like going and taking one treatment there. I did it once at Lonavala Institute.
Like what changes have you seen after joining Diamond?
After joining Diamond, my energy levels have gone up. Whereas there is discipline come into my life. Post-retirement, I was very, very lethargic, not getting up in time, getting up anytime, eating anytime. All that has stopped.
5:30, I get up. Whether I—
on all 7 days a week, including Sundays.
Wow.
So that is the change I have seen myself. Awesome, awesome.
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for sharing that. Thank you. Yeah, go ahead, Rajgopal ji, if you're here. Yes, unmute yourself.
So yes, sir, good evening, sir. Very, very beautiful lecture today we have had. And already, as I told, I was a Diamond member for the past one and a half, one year, one and a half years. Wow. See, I have got a lot of health benefits of Then some reading and other things and all my activities has been totally changed. Now even previously I used to attend a lot of this YouTube, this thing and all. I used to attend a lot of YouTubes. I will spend more than 1 to 2 and a half hours in YouTube only. Now totally I am not at all seeing any YouTube program. I do not know how this transformation has come in our this thing. All these things are only because of our, as you said, I have undergone bypass surgery. My BP was very, very thing. Now BP has came totally under control. Diabetics, now for the past one year I am maintaining between 6.1 to 6.5 HbA1c level. But I, I am taking regular medicines and all. See, once you are inside our body, we have to understand the body structure also. So because of your previous lifestyle and all, Some part of your body means damaged, means it's a permanent damage. It cannot be rectified. But only thing is we can regularize the existing body condition which we are available with us. So by improving the available resources, we can able to lead a very happy life. So you just come to this diamond, you can see that lot of differences you can able to find between your reaction, this thing. How to change your lifestyle, habit trackers and other things. Your people will be there. They will monitor you so much that you can never expect. See, I can able to tell only few things in their words. By experiencing, you can able to learn so many things. You can able to see spiritually your mind will slowly drifting away. Our mind is slowly drifting away from normal this thing to spiritual side. See, this thing happens only because of lifestyle changes. These things comes only due to our regular this thing of our habit tracking, our changing our this thing and all. I have to thank that CPH and Badrinath Sahab because we have enjoyed your this thing also Hyderabad meet also so much we have enjoyed. I was there for about 6 days and I am expecting this December this thing also very eagerly booking and waiting for the second meet also. The whole day and all we have enjoyed like anything like small people Yeah, I have enjoyed it. See that Amitabh Bachchan song and all, we have enjoyed like that. This is Rang De Basar song. All the people started dancing because the old people were there, like our Kashi Viswanath Sahab and all. Very enjoyable this thing. So kindly I request
