818-572-2910.
Good day, good day, good day everyone. How are you on this beautiful Tuesday? And guess what? I'm sitting in Canada. I've been telling you that I was going off onto a remote island with a couple of my sisters and their families and not— no connectivity and all that kind of good stuff. So that is where I am, and I hope wherever you are in the world you're enjoying yourself. I'm certainly looking forward to some disconnection time. And some me time and some, you know, inner work time. And as a matter of fact, I'll mention it now, but as a matter of fact, our guest, um, is actually providing you as well a great resource, um, to kind of like tap into your inner desires. And I had mentioned to her as we were coming onto the show that I was going to be taking that with me. I'm not doing a lot of reading, so to speak. I'll do a lot of writing, and I just thought this was a great opportunity to leverage all the great resources that our guest has. And I'm going to take it with me and get into my alchemy, the audacity of alchemy and what that is. And she's going to talk all about it today. But before we get there, if you could, and we do this a lot on the program, sadly enough we do it, but you know, if you look around the country, let alone the world, between the fires in the West and the floods on the East Coast and then Greece, you know, let alone all the tragedies we've had year to date. Ah, if we could just, you know, if each of us could just take a minute to pray for those that are impacted, but also to really, really ground ourselves in the gratitude that we have for our lives and where we are at this very moment in time. And if you ever, 'cause someone asked me this and I thought it was a fabulous idea, 'Cause you all know how faith-based I am and how much we do pray for others here on the program. And if you have someone you, you know, want us to pray for or even to keep in our thoughts, then please feel free to come out onto Facebook and Twitter and LinkedIn and sheddingthebitch.com, all those places that we have you come and tweet and Facebook with us, and let us know. 'Cause we certainly, certainly want to keep each and every one of you in our thoughts and in our prayers. All right, but I'm really excited. Like I had mentioned, I'm really excited about today's program. I don't know, it must be a mid-year thing that it is kind of a time to unlock your hidden powers. So we're going to be talking about that and really about how to dissolve, dissolve the obstacles that are keeping you stuck using the magic of alchemy. And I'm hoping I'm pronouncing that right, and if not, she'll She's more than happy to embarrass me and correct me. I just love that title. I love that title. So overall, with the description of what we're going to talk about today is, if you'd ever wonder why some things come so easily and sometimes it's so frustrating when what you want doesn't want you. The magic, the magic of alchemy will help you tap into those hidden powers that allow your desires to materialize without getting stuck in the negative vibrations that block them. So 3 things she wants you to be listening for today. The first step to take anytime you want to redirect any situation, then think about what's actually causing your suffering and how to turn it around quickly. So that's going to allow you to kind of really get grounded with what is actually causing your suffering. And then the number one accelerator that will get you to a positive outcome. I love that. Love it, love it, love it. So we often, if you're new to the program, we will give you a rich question, a question that we hope to ground you in this conversation and this discussion. And in most cases, your questions will be answered by our guest. And if not, then I'll make sure that you have all of her contact information and ways that you could be reaching out to her for support and for resources. So your risk question is somewhat simple in statement, though sometimes difficult for us to really dig deep and be honest about them. But what we want you to be thinking about is, What negative thoughts are you consumed with? What are those negative thoughts you're consumed with that could be causing, like she's explaining, some, you know, you getting stuck and not realizing, uh, your desires? So think about that. What negative thoughts? Your rich tag for today's program is #believe, #transformation, and of course, #share. To shed the bitch. So think about that question as we just take a short break, and we come back and dive into this question and this conversation with our guest, and I'll make sure I formally introduce her and give you all of her contact information. So we will be right back.

All right, welcome back everyone. Let me introduce to you Ramey Shomy. I'm sorry, that's wrong. Let me make sure I get this right. Ramee Chausse. I don't know how I got to that. I think it's just a catchy— it's such a catchy name. Ramee Chausse is quite possibly America's number one and first unstuckologist. Unstuckologist. She has x-ray vision for seeing the trouble spots that exist in every frozen situation. And the creativity to transform it instantly. She is a best-selling author and creator of the Get Unstuck Revolution for extraordinary women with big-ass dreams who are ridiculously unsatisfied with status quo and those who want to unlock their hidden power to dissolve the obstacles that are keeping them stuck. So while I transition her into the conversation, please go to thegetunstuckrevolution.com and check out everything, and I'll give you a couple of other, uh, places to go as well. But welcome to the program, Ramey.
Thank you, thank you. You're so creative, you made up a whole new name for me.
Well, you know, sometimes Sometimes my mouth works faster than my mind. But there you go.
That's going to be my new motto. Don't get stuck, just make it up. Make up something weird. Right, right.
Well, and names are important. I was having this conversation with someone the other day, so I will apologize for that because I do find names to be very important. I mean, they're who we are. So, Ramey Chausse, I will not get wrong again. But welcome to the program. I'm thrilled, thrilled, thrilled to be talking to you.
I'm kind of over it. You know, I have a very French name that has been mispronounced my entire life. In my younger years, in my 20s, yeah, I used to get really indignant about it, but I'm kind of over it now.
Yeah, well, yes, but at the same time, I know for myself, if someone all of a sudden, you know, for some reason decides to call me Bern or Bernie, I even get Brenda. Yeah, I get a little agitated.— it's like, yeah, my name, it's a beautiful name, so let's, yeah, make sure that we're getting it right. So that's why I respect the— I respect individuals' names. So let me ask you something, because there's so much, and I love— I absolutely love all of those powerful words that you have in your introduction. I mean, words like ridiculously unsatisfied, and, you know, and big-ass dreams, and dissolve the obstacles. —there's power behind that. So give me some— give us some background and backstory about how you got to this.
Well, let me think. Let me start with the basics, Bernadette, of why I created the Get Unstuck Revolution. First of all, everyone who came into my space said the same thing: I'm feeling stuck. And yeah, when we're feeling stuck, what I want people to realize is that it's never the situation. That has us stuck. Can we use a capital N on that word? Never. It's the energy behind it that's become stuck. But we tend to look at the situation, challenge the problem, and when we do that, funny thing, it just gets to be a bigger and bigger problem, and then our energy gets wrapped up in it. Yeah, frustration used to be my chronic word, and funny thing, when you feel frustrated, the universe will bring you more things to be frustrated about. So it isn't the pain of the situation that we're in. It's the pain of not being connected in that natural energy of who we really are, of being connected to that magical part of us that's a creative vibrational being who can just make up words and names. Right, right. That very creative part of us that can use positive energy to create what we want and bring it into the physical. That's, that's our hidden power, but we, we get wrapped up in the human emotion and forget that that's our hidden power. And of course, part of this process is to allow our manifestations to materialize without getting stuck in these negative vibrations that block them. It's kind of a tricky thing, and at the very same time, it's very, very simple once you master it. Because when you can vaporize these unwanted negative energies and reduce these conflicts that just steal our positive energy, well then, the possibilities for crystallizing the outcome we want just become endless.
And, and, well, I would absolutely agree with you. And did this, did this start from a source? Were you in a, in a kind of an ugly place or a bad place? Oh yeah. You realize that once you, once you kind of switched, you, you found this un— you know, this hidden power?
Yeah, yeah. My— if, if anybody wants to look at my story, it's, it's on a page, successcircleworkshops.com, and we'll talk about the coming workshops another time, but the story is there. I was out for a walk one night, sunset was going down, and I passed by this old Victorian house. It was kind of an older neighborhood, right? And these kids were playing in the front room, just having a great time, and this pizza delivery guy drove up in front of the house, and he gets out to take the pizza up the front walk, and all these little kids suddenly realized, "It's here!" And they start screaming, "Pizza! Pizza!" And they go running down the sidewalk and almost pull this poor guy over. And I'm watching this scene unfold and thinking, I can't remember the last time I was happy. Like, the exuberance was so— you know, little kids, it's so easy for them. But what happened to me? Where did I go? And it was in that moment that I realized I was being abused by my minister and my church. Uh, minister, that would be my husband. And so, wow, oftentimes when we go through some kind of trauma, we think we're the I'm the only one on earth who could possibly be going through something so traumatic, right? Yeah, nobody could totally understand. Yeah, and I went through therapists and spiritual advisors and pastors, and then I tried NLP and violet light therapy, and oh my gosh, I could list out 100 things I tried and nobody could get at the heart of what had me so stuck. And in all that research, that's how I managed to come up with this idea of alchemy and how to transform and how to find these hidden powers that we have, you know, at our fingertips.
Nice, the magic of alchemy. That is so cool. And, and so I want you to repeat— I know, you know, we can talk about it another time, but I do want you to repeat the workshop name that you had mentioned.
Oh yeah, Success Circle Workshops. This is a great concept, and you can go to that website and find the upcoming ones in your area. We have one coming up pretty soon here in Southern California. But the idea is that when we can be in this trusted circle, where we all have success in our minds, whether it's, you know, money or relationships or success or whatever our idea of success is, everybody has a different definition. But I wanted to create a safe place where we could come together and figure out how to make this happen using these hidden powers. The reason I like to call it the audacity of alchemy, the reason I love that so much is when you look up audacity, it's the willingness to take bold risks. And I think everybody in your audience falls into that category, right?
Absolutely, absolutely. Yeah, absolutely. I love that. I love that. And I want to, um, mention to everyone, um, unlockyourhiddenpower.com is going to be where we keep referencing you to go, and, and you'll learn all about, um, Ramey, and you'll be able to see, um, everything there is, uh, in regards to her resources and her, um, downloads that you can leverage and how you can engage with her. So unlockyourhiddenpower.com. So I felt also in, um, in not only the information that you provided me and, and then doing some research of you, um, but I also found that there's this basis or foundation of faith in what it is that you do. So help us understand, how do you define faith?
You know, it's one of my favorite questions. The reason I'm giggling a little bit is because at these workshops I always ask this question and I don't think I've ever gotten the same answer twice. Ah, interesting. Right? When you think about it, it's easy to define and yet it's this intangible, you know, it's just a very personal thing. It's like when I ask people to define their integrity, I'll get 17 different answers because it's very personal. One person will say, "Well, never steal, don't ever steal," and the woman right next to her might say, "But," What if a woman has a small baby and the baby's hungry? Does it make it okay to walk into the 7-Eleven and steal a banana? You know, so it's a very personal thing, integrity, and faith is kind of the same way. And I have found that if you know your own definition first, it becomes so much easier. And so my suggestion, my first exercise for the day, is to go look up the definitions, not just in the dictionary, but also just by Googling what is faith. And make a list of all the definitions you can find, and you'll probably find 20 or 50 or more, and start looking at what does it mean for you. One of the things you want to look for, someplace that I tripped up a lot, is have faith in what? So that's another thing to define. Sometimes it's not religious. Right? Sometimes it's having faith in yourself, or having faith the sun will come up tomorrow. Sometimes it's broad, and sometimes it's very tight. My favorite definition of faith probably isn't a definition at all, but I ask, "Where do I belong in all this?" Where do I belong in all this is my favorite. Yeah, because that kind of opens up a conversation with the muse, helps me open up some guidance, gets me out of that judgmental— I do believe—
oh, I'm sorry, no, finish please.
No, it gets me out of that judgmental place with that ego thinking, right?
Do you believe— because I have a number of, um, atheist, uh, and agnostic friends and those that say they don't believe, you know, in God and in anything. Um, do you believe that we all should have faith in something, or— and maybe their definition of faith is just different? Than what we might be processing it as?
It's a good question because I work with people who have trauma and spiritual injury, and they often get to a point where they say, I don't have faith in anything, I don't trust the universe, I don't trust— I mean, God let me down because of fill in the blank, whatever tragedy, right? You know, trust is— trust is another one of those interesting words to define. It's a difficult to define word because trust in what? And for me, trust is letting go of resistance. Because what I found from my own world— and you see if it fits for you, Bernadette— because in my own world, trust— let's see, how can I say this— when someone, or when I personally feel like I don't have any faith or I don't trust because I've been through a tragedy, as we all have been through something, and you feel like God's forgotten all about me, or this universe hokey-pokey business, it just doesn't work. But when we know that we live in a energetic universe and everything is energy, consider the idea that perhaps you've been putting out so much frustrating energy, so much resistant energy, so much energy that falls into the area of doubts, fears, indecision, regret, anger, angst, annoyance. Good grief, we could go on and on. Right. Law of Attraction, the universe brings you more things to match that. So it isn't that you don't have faith, or that this isn't a faith-based universe. But what energy have you been radiating in order to bring experiences back to you? This was a super hard lesson for me. This lesson beat me up a lot. Yeah, right.
Well, and I'm kind of— especially when you brought the universe into it, I was asked this question the other day. I'd love your thoughts on it. Does someone have— I mean, when it comes to understanding the universe and how law of attraction in the universe works, is it, is it scientific? Like, you have to understand the science behind it? Because for so many people, they kind of just can't grasp the, the nuance of it. Does that make sense?
Right. Well, let me put it into a simple example that I think will make sense to everybody. Let's say that you've signed a new contract for work. And suddenly it gets canceled. Okay, and let's say that we've had, huh, 9 contracts in a row that have canceled very recently. I actually have a client this happened to. And so we start to have doubts about where we're going wrong. Our sales ability is off, our, you know, we're in front of the wrong client, we're with the wrong company, and we start Q&Aing all these things that could go wrong. Then we start worrying about our financial situation. Then we get irritated that we're facing this yet again.— and we start feeling the struggle of all the hard work to getting a deal to just close, only to have it fall apart. Then we feel the conflict of whether we're doing something wrong and we can't even see it. Maybe we'll never find it. Then we become overwhelmed, confused, or just angry, and we feel justified. So we've allowed ourselves to respond to a situation rather than manage and direct the energy toward a desired outcome. And this could be true of any situation, relationships, money, career. The thing is, if we don't become willing to manage our own energy, then we're sacrificing our energy like a sacrificial lamb, and self-sacrificing energy isn't alchemy. Self-sacrificing energy isn't— we can't get transformation from there. So what do we do? How do we get unstuck from the situation that now has a life of its own? So you can sit and say the universe does it to me, or doesn't do it to me, or I don't understand how it works. Doesn't matter, it's always working. We don't have to understand it.
So that's the beauty of it, kind of. Well, and I'll be honest with you, and I, you know, as much as I'm in this world and in this space now, I'm still learning it myself because I was just such a— it's either black or white. I, you know, it was very— things that were logical to me as opposed to just you know, the faith and the trust. So yeah, that individual— to maybe help, um, you know, our listeners understand this better— that individual who had contract after contract, you know, get canceled after, you know, after it was signed or whatnot, and falling into that idea of, you know, oh, they start questioning themselves— what were your suggestions, or what was your coaching to that individual to then support what it is that you mentioned in regards to the response? Super good question.
Really super good question. Our tendency is to look at the problem and solve the problem. Problems are laden with resistance. As long as you look at the problem that needs to be solved, it won't solve. That's the science of it, truthfully. As long as you look at the problem, it won't solve. If you are continuing to add doubt and frustration and anger to it. So you have to find a way to look at it without the negative energies. It's almost impossible to do, especially if it's affecting your income. Or I talk with women who are going through a bad breakup. Yeah, it's like, you're like, so in your face in that moment. And so the easiest thing to do is step away from it, directing your energies somewhere else. Go pet the cat, go pick a flower. I mean, that's the very basics of it, because that problem just by the force of it, is going to continue to try and suck you in. It's going to romance you. That's what the ego does, right? So one thing I do— I know that you downloaded the Alchemy Matrix off my website, so let's talk about that for a second because it's a tool on how to instantly move your energy around. Okay. And so if you have a piece of paper, or, you know, the whiteboard in your mind, whatever, and you were to draw a bunch of circles on the piece of paper that all sort of touch each other— like, what do you call that? What do you call the bottom of a shower? Not pebble rock, but like the all-circular tiles on the bottom of the shower pan?
What do you call that?
Draw in the blank.
But, you know, so you draw that pattern.
Yeah, but draw that pattern, okay? Yeah, and just start to write down some positive words, let's say. We'll start there. Trust. Understanding, compassion, courage, certainty, joy, curiosity, confidence. If you just begin to write these words, each one in a little circle, right in within 3 seconds your energy begins to change. Yeah, you can pull out a thesaurus and start looking up other words for compassion and gratitude and optimism, and before you know it You're 2 hours into this thing, and you really, if you really want to change your energy, it's simple, but it's addictive. And that's a good thing. Right. It's addictive, yeah. Right. And from there, what you can do is look at, okay, my situation with these contracts, how can I find compassion? And just start writing out some sentences. I have compassion for myself because, gosh, no one tries harder than I do. I have compassion for my employer, or my client, or my vendor, or my coworker because, and fill in the blank and write down a few sentences. Move on to the next word, curiosity. Curious about how to solve this, I don't know, and doesn't matter, it won't come to me right this minute anyway, but I'm open to it. Curious about how the vendor's feeling. Curious about, maybe there's a possibility I haven't thought of here. And so, in the process of brainstorming these sentences using these positive energy words, your own energy will change. So now you're not focused on the problem, which is laden with resistance. Now you're focused on changing the energy. That's where the resolution will show itself. That makes sense.
Yeah, that's fabulous. Yes, it absolutely makes sense. And I think it's a wonderful, wonderful, um, exercise for anyone listening. Yeah, and you get into a situation that didn't quite go the way you wanted it to, and you immediately went to the negative and before you do is when you want to take this advice from Rami and just kind of get grounded in the positive and the uplifting. And if you need an example of those powerful words, go to Rami's introduction because all of those words were just like, they got my juices going immediately.
So yeah, love it. I mean, honestly, your thesaurus is your best friend.— and you know what, this is a great exercise for kids. Talk about giving them a life skill. This is a great exercise for kids to do. And it could—
they could make it fun, too. I mean, when I started drawing circles, seriously, I did it on my notepad here. I mean, they could do it with colors and all kinds of good stuff. Make it fun for them. So, yeah. Well, so since we're on the subject of the universe, and many people look at it in very different ways. Do you consider the universe to be a personal thing, an impersonal thing? I mean, you know, is it working in my favor? Is it working? Yeah. What is the universe? So what—
so the way I like to look at it, I like to look at universal energies are always working in the ethers, and they're hidden, and we don't necessarily see them. But the one thing that we know is that the universe is is not personal. The universe takes its instruction from us, and the instructions come in the form of vibration. So when we're vibrating in frustration and anger and indecision and confusion, the universe takes its instruction and gives us more things to be angry and frustrated and confused about. The universe is extremely impersonal.
It's not asking us if we like it or not. It's— it's not like trying to figure out our emotion, it's just taking what we're giving them and giving it back to us.
Yeah, I had somebody in a workshop tell me she was going through this terrible divorce with a man who was a rager. He was an abuser, not physical, but emotional, an emotional abuser, right?
A bit of a bully.
Well, we'll call it a bully with a capital B. And she said that she used to sit and cry in the hallway and sob her tears on the floor and all of her snot and say to her angels and her guides, Why do you hate me so much? Why won't you help me get out of this? And it's like the old phrase, God helps those who help themselves. It's like you start with your own energy and then the universe knows what to do because it's free will. And if you want to sit and snot and in your own snot and cry in your hallway, that's, that's what you want to do. It's free will, right? You also have the free will to make a different choice.
Absolutely. Amen, amen, amen, amen. All right, we're going to take a quick break, but we have a lot more to talk about, especially Mastery of Alchemy. I mean, come on, you know, that's, you know, not deep and heavy, but it's just we want to make sure we understand so you all can leverage it in your everyday. So we're going to take a quick break. When we come back, we'll continue our conversation with Ramey, and we'll learn about the joy factor. And then she— her words are just so powerful. So she uses words like conundrum and paradox and what do all these things mean to our ability to dissolve the obstacles in our lives.

Getting unstuck and being ridiculously satisfied with all of our— with all aspects of our lives, uh, and we're talking to Ramey Shouse. And I want you to go to her website, unlockyourhiddenpower.com, and learn all about her and the resources and the programs that she has and, and get connected. And if you are thinking about that question that we asked at the top of the hour, which was what negative thoughts are you consumed with, and you're still questioning kind of how to use her tips and resources, then please be sure to reach out to her and engage her. Your, your life will be transformed. Transformed, I promise you. So we were— before we went on to break, we started talking the universe, which is a great conversation, and I love that conversation. And you often use words like conundrum or paradox, and I'm wondering when, you know, what do you do when, when you feel like you're in a conundrum or a paradox? Help us understand in your world how we can tap into that.
Yeah, indecision is a big deal. Indecision and anger are probably the two energies that trip us up in the most grand way. But a conundrum is often an either-or, a paradox is either-or. It's kind of like a double bind. I don't know if you're familiar with this term, but double bind in its extreme would be an example of a home invasion the criminal comes into the home, ties up the wife and daughter, puts a gun in the hand of the husband and says, choose, kill either your wife or your daughter, because if you don't, I will make a choice for— it's impossible that you— it's a double bind, right? It's an impossible situation. Mercy. And I bring up that extreme because our ego mind makes us think that when we're in a conundrum, that we're in that extreme. That's what the ego mind will do to us inside of our our monkey minds will do inside of our heads, and it's usually not that extreme. What's inside a conundrum or paradox or any indecision isn't the problem itself or the conundrum itself. Remember, it's never the situation, but that conundrum exists asking us to step out of it and become more of who we really are in our spiritual center, or in the center that we call our inner CEO. Someplace centered because when we're in a conundrum, we're not centered, we're being batted around inside a pinball machine, right? Right, right. So we're not centered, we're feeling like we're getting beat up by it. So when you're in a conundrum or any kind of indecision, what's happening is there's too much focus on the situation, the challenge, and it's a time to take a step back and get re-centered in who we really are and go and find, I mean, going off and brainstorming solutions is one thing that will often put us into that positive state Right. But what we tend to do instead of brainstorming solutions is we tend to swim around in the elements of the problem. Ah, right.
Does that make sense? Yeah, absolutely.
So, if you have a coworker or a child who has a conundrum and you ask them to come up with 20 different solutions, it's kind of uncanny. They can often only see 2 solutions because they feel like they're in a paradox. Right? So if you actually brainstorm 20, even though most of them won't make any sense, usually right around number 18, that's where the actual solution is. But we get so hung up in those number 1 and number 2, we can't see it.
So you're saying to push yourself through, you know, those first, you know, 1, 2, 8, 10, and just push yourself to where you can get to the alchemy. Wow!
Yeah, you've heard me talk about the exercise before that I call finding the positive. Mm-hmm. In any situation you're in, or even just life, if you're just in a funk, find the positive. Right. I've had women going through divorce who just can't even find the first positive. So another way to look at it is to find the advantage or find the blessing. So if you have a challenge, a conundrum, you can also look at what's the advantage or what's the blessing in this conundrum, and not even look for the solution yet. Look for the blessings first, and that sometimes that'll open up the brain and get you out of that double bind.
Right, right. No, I love that. I love that. And, and can I assume— and I, well, I shouldn't— let me put it another way. When you say blessings, you're also talking gratitude for those that are into tracking their gratitude?
Well, I mean, yes, it can be. Um, I mean, gratitude, gratitude's a funny word. Gratitude's one of those words that's difficult to define sometimes. Like forgiveness. Like forgiveness. One of my favorite definitions of all time I heard on Oprah: thank you for giving me this experience. Because every challenge is there to help us grow, but we get— like, we get hung up in it thinking it's just there to beat us up. Right? No, you're right. Part of our— yeah, yeah, you're right, you're right.
I love that. Okay, so let's, um, now take those— the universe, those vibrations, getting out of those conundrums and paradoxes.— and those double binds. You talk about the joy factor. What— how can we look at that? What is a joy factor and how do we use it in our own lives?
Yeah, that's, um— the joy factor is not a new idea. It's not my concept. It's one that your listeners have probably heard over and over again. But the idea is, does it bring me joy or does it bring me negative emotions? Right. Right. And so, if you were to take a piece of paper and on the left-hand side write down all your negative emotions and on the right side all your positive emotions, you could even carry this around in your wallet or in your day planner. I don't know, do people even use day planners anymore? I do. You know, do you? I had this thought the other day. Remember when you used to go to the bank on Friday and they had those ready tellers where you put your deposit into the plastic tube and it would vacuum suck it over to the bank?
Oh, yes. You know what, they don't even have those anymore.
I had to Google it. You're kidding! I know, right? Oh, wow. These things that escape us after a while. Anyhow, I didn't even know people carried day planners anymore. I'm dating myself. But the idea is, anytime you're asked to make a decision or get involved in a new project or take on a new role, and you can ask yourself, well, how do I feel about this? And just make a few notes and go back and look. These 5 things I just wrote down, are they more on the negative side or more on the positive side? You know, do you ever watch on TV The Profit with Marcus Lemonis?
No, I've heard of it. A show kind of— I don't watch it.
Yeah, kind of like Shark Tank, and the idea is an investor goes into a business that wants to expand or a business that's failing. And he went into this one lighting company that makes customized lighting. And he said, "I'm going to take you into this historical building that I just bought, and I want you to create a proposal for lighting for this whole building." And the owner immediately went into, "But we don't know what's going to be in the space, and we don't know what the budget is, and we don't know this, and we don't know that." All of a sudden she's in indecision and frustration and the "I don't knows." Whereas her production manager was like, "We could do this, and we could do that. Oh my gosh, and we could do this." listen, he didn't care what the restrictions were, he just went into full-fledged creativity. Right. You can immediately see she's on the left side of the page with all the negatives blocking the creative process, and he's already gone on and created a whole building and 3 more buildings up the street.
Yeah, wow. Right. Yes, wow.
So any decision that you have to make, or choice, or a new hire, or a new project, I look at the joy factor. Does it immediately put me to the right side of the page where all these creative energies are going, or do I immediately feel trepidation?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I, and I, I mean, I, you know, I'm just sitting here thinking about this, that, you know, I'll often think to myself, if I, you know, if I'm groggy or if I'm agitated and that's the way I go out into the world, then that's why I'm still agitated and groggy when I get home. Yeah, as opposed to when I'm groggy or agitated or whatever the state of being is on a negative side. If I just make a little mind shift, it's amazing how all of a sudden the work— the sunshine is brighter and the, you know, yeah, the clouds are bluer. Um, and I think is that— that's what you're talking about, is just all that energy and emotion. Um, yeah, kind of flipping it on its head. If it's negative, make it positive.
Yeah, and I believe it or not, I have people ask me, but how? There's people who are particularly stuck in that, but how do you do that? Right, right. It's the how question. Right. And so when you think about this drawing, these pennies on the piece of paper, these little circles, this is another way to use the Alchemy Matrix, and that is to create your own mantras. If you're using the word joy, for instance, because it's such a small word, it fits right to that circle. And then if you put joy in the middle circle and then start writing little mantras in the other little circles around it for a few minutes. Yes, yes. I love having joy in my heart. I love, I love the joyful vision that Source has for me. I love experiencing vibrant and deep joy. I love being a part of joyful experiences. I love, let's see, I love receiving the most joyful outcomes. And just find different ways to use that word joy, just that process of brainstorming, that's the how. That's the how to quickly shift from, you know, grogginess or, you know, anger, frustration, any of those.
Yeah, yeah, that's, that's fabulous. Well, everyone, as you go to unlockyourhiddenpower.com, and I know you have already, and I know you're looking around but you're listening to us as well, Definitely grab— and she had mentioned that I, you know, I even grabbed my own copy. Now let's return to Bernadette and Shedding the Bitch Radio.
Welcome back everyone. We are talking to possibly America's first unstuckologist, Ramey Shouse. I want you to go to her website unlockyourhiddenpower.com and learn all about her. And the picture, even the picture, her picture that we put on this episode, just looking at it, you'll immediately smile yourself because she's just very inviting and very warm. And it was, it is no surprise to me how she's able to tap in and use her x-ray vision to help you see your trouble spots. And that, you know, giving you those tips and advice that you could be using, as she has on the program, to get unstuck and to really unlock your hidden power, because we all have it. Uh, so let's talk about that if we could, uh, Ramey. Uh, many of us, we kind of run through life and never take time to just sit and really go inward. Um, I'm sure you run across those type of individuals who you need to kind of break down, you know, their barriers and resistance and whatnot. What's your experience with someone who might be new to all of this, what I'll call self-discovery?
Yeah, I used to be that person you just described. Me too. Yeah, I know. When I was, uh, in my young 20s living in Texas, um, I belonged to a small mastermind group, 4 of us, 4 women that went to a non-denominational non-denominational church at the time. And it— at the time, I thought this whole God thing, it's so intangible, right? It can't possibly be real. And I just kind of turned into this very— I don't want to say Type A personality, that wouldn't be the right definition— but this very real-world, tangible, only what I see do I believe kind of person. And then here I am, I just turned 60 years old, and— so many years later that it's like now I live in the intangible world. Right, right, right. It's funny coming from where I used to be, yeah. And so the idea that I really want people to understand, to answer your question, is the moment you crystallize an idea, it moves into the pool of possibilities. And that really is a foundational— you don't really need to understand or spend a lot of time going inward. Until you're comfortable doing so. But just knowing that the moment you crystallize an idea, it moves into the pool of possibilities, and that's a good starting point. A lot of people have trouble— I don't know how to meditate, I don't know how to, you know, I don't want to read 16 books, I just want to get started with something simple. And so spending a little time— before we went to break, you talked about overcoming obstacles. So rather than looking at the obstacles I would say begin to crystallize some ideas of what you do want so that you can begin to move those into the pool of possibilities. You begin to move your energy over to the, you know, to the good side of the page and all of that. That's a good place to start.
Yeah, I love that. Yeah, yeah.
And so if you are— see, if you have your own business, I love that perfect clients find me. I love new projects coming to me effortlessly. I love it. The easiest processes make the biggest impact. These ideas, as you write them down, will begin to crystallize just the moment you have them. So rather than focusing on the obstacle or getting hung up and I don't know how to meditate, just begin to create some ideas and let them begin to crystallize, right? I love— right, I love having clients and they admire the work we do together. I love receiving referrals and collaborations and respectful partnerships. I love that my team is even more talented than I am. Just start coming up with some ideas that you would like to see crystallize.
Yes, I love that. And I love— and you say it so naturally, but— and so I'm going to repeat it because it actually finally caught to me about the third time you said it throughout this program. And I believe, if I remember correctly, it ties back to the joy factor. But you'll use a reference and say, move it to the right side of the page. And it went back to, correct me if I'm wrong, it went back to when we were talking about joy and you want joy in the column to the right. And then you might have your challenges and your struggles on the left. And what you're looking to do is move it to the right side. Did I capture that right? Yep. And that's an awesome visual because I'm very visual.— and so all of a sudden, when the third time you said it, I was like, oh wow, oh well, I get that. And I actually literally saw one of my things on the left move to the right. Very cool.
Yeah, I mean, in the workshop I have— I actually have people write, yeah, two stick figures, one on the right side of the page, one on the left side. I have them write underneath the stick figure on the right, my spiritual self, and on the left side, my ego self, because One of ourselves is going to generate the thought— positive thoughts or negative thoughts. The spiritual side will generate thoughts of joy and compassion and appreciation and gratitude. Our ego self will generate the thoughts that are negative. And remember, thought comes first and then comes emotion, and that becomes an instruction to the universe.
Yes, yes, yeah, yes, yes. Love it, love it, love it. Thank you so much. I mean, this has been very powerful, everyone. And, uh, and I, you know, been scribbling my own notes here because I, I love these conversations because I'm always learning something as well. So I'm sure all of you have. Is there any last, you know, piece of advice, tip, or just observation you would give our listeners?
I would say, let me think, if you can get into the habit of writing your own mantras based on these positive words that you find out of your thesaurus, that is what will bring resolutions forward and also bring new possibilities you haven't even thought of forward. Because in, in giving the universe instruction, the universe will go and find things that you can't even imagine. To bring you that are good and wonderful experiences if you'll begin that process with the thought. And so I think all of us know how to brainstorm.
That's easy, right? Yes, yes, yeah, yeah, it's easy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I love that. All right, there's a couple other things, everybody, before we let her go. I want to mention, well, first off, again, unlockyourhiddenpower.com. Be sure to get her, uh, free full-color interactive workbook on how to use alchemy to transform challenges into successes, definitely check out the upcoming Success Circle workshop. But at the same time, be sure to reach out to her. Now, of course, all her contact information is on her website, but you can tweet with her, Facebook with her. Her handles are @RemyChausse, and that's C-H-A-U-S-S-E is her last name. The Facebook page is this— I love guests that make it easy on us. So if you were to simply Google Ramee Chausse, you're going to find her everywhere. But she has a Facebook page, a Twitter page, LinkedIn. Be sure to reach out to her and see how she can help you master the magic of alchemy. I love it, love it, love it. Thank you so much, Ramee, for being part of the program. This hour went so fast.
I love what you're doing in the world.
I really do. Oh, thank you. Oh, wow. Thank you very much. That means a great deal. That means a great deal. And I, and I love the fact that I get to take a resource on a vacation with me and really dive into it, because I will tell you, I wasn't going to, but I'm going to tell you, uh, I will tell you, when I got onto this, onto our program and our conversation today, I was like one of your clients, you know, with— I'm not losing 9 contracts, but having one of those situations occur just today, just about an hour ago, that caused me to start going down one path. And even though I consider myself a master at this stuff too, having someone like yourself share your own experience and process and what the work that you do— I am a whole different person, you know, 50 minutes later after talking with you.
So I greatly appreciate you for that. We can change the outcome of most any situation just by shifting the energy. It's really simple.
Yes. And I appreciate, appreciate you doing that for me because I needed a shift this afternoon. I will be open and completely honest about that. Um, but I do, I appreciate you, and I will definitely, um, look forward to talking to you again and also having you back on the program. I know you were on the program a few years ago, if— yeah, correct. It's been a while. Yes, it's been a while. So when, um, we had this opportunity again, I certainly wanted to, uh, take advantage of it. But I want to thank you for being part of the program, and we'll talk soon. You're welcome. And everyone, again, unlockyourhiddenpower.com. Be sure to take advantage of those resources and leverage all the tips. I mean, I seriously, I have 2 or 3 pages here in regards to what she talked to us about. That's the sorus, a positive word with the circles, mantras, uh, just sitting there writing your, um, Ego spiritual columns and moving things. I love that, moving it to the right side of the page where joy resides. Love it, love it, love it. And then stay tuned next week is Ask Bernadette. Now you might have a question for Ramey, our guest, so during our Ask Bernadette program. So if you do and you happen to go to Facebook or Twitter or LinkedIn and give me that question that has to do with anything in your career, business, or life, we'll be sure to cover it in our program. But if it's for our guests, of any, any of our guests, but including Ramey. I'll make sure that we get her direct feedback on that question and bring it right here on Shedding the Bits Radio for our Ask Me Tuesday, which is the first Tuesday of every month. And then the month of August, it is packed with guests. We have Susan Ball coming up, Andrea Hall coming up, and Kristen Martel Kett will be with us throughout the month of August.
