Recalibrate Your Mind to Manifest Abundance with Amanda May

In this episode of Shedding the Bitch Radio, host Bernadette Boas interviews spiritual life coach Amanda May, founder of the Manifesting Miracle Worker brand. The conversation explores how manifestation—rooted in the Law of Attraction—can be used to create financial freedom and personal abundance. Amanda shares her personal journey from discovering The Secret in college, through a finance career, to becoming a manifestation coach. She explains core concepts such as embodying the future‑self, letting go of need‑based thinking, and the importance of feeling abundance rather than focusing on lack. Practical tools are introduced, including the "big‑bad brain dump" for clearing limiting beliefs, an evidence‑log for noticing synchronicities, and her proprietary Manifesting Miracle Worker scripting method that details an ideal day in vivid detail. The dialogue also covers the role of gratitude, belief, and comfort‑zone expansion, and outlines Amanda’s three‑session coaching program (with 24/7 Voxer support) for clients who want to level‑up their money mindset. Throughout, the tone remains conversational, upbeat, and encouraging, with sponsors NG Tax Solutions and Up Top Roofing briefly mentioned.

We're going to talk about recalibrating your mind to manifest your next level of freedom and abundance. So today we're going to discuss just how you can use the power of manifestation, the power of your focused thoughts and energy, to manifest what you truly desire in life. We're also going to talk about how to create your blueprint, or your future self blueprint, to manifest true freedom and abundance. Now, I'll give you a rich question in just a moment, but what we want you to be listening for is The fact of manifestation methods that will help to enhance your life. We're also going to talk about the Manifesting Miracle Worker scripting method, and that is our guest's proprietary method to really look at your future self blueprint and to write it out next level into existence. We're going to talk about how we can become more spiritually aligned and how to spend more time with your soul to create the life of your dreams. And lastly, fun ways— hey, fun ways to appreciate everything we already have. I don't think we do enough of that, by the way. Appreciate everything we already have with a focus on, guess, money, money, money, money, money. All right, so your rich question, your rich question. And for our guests and for all of our new viewers and listeners, this rich question is meant to ground you in our discussion. So you might join and be like, well, manifestation, that's a lot of woo-woo, it doesn't apply to me. Certainly it does. And this question will help you really consider something within you, so then whatever our guest talks about, you can apply. So your rich question today is really simple: what would you want to manifest into your life right now? What do you want to manifest into your life right now? All right, be thinking about that while I introduce our amazing guest. So Amanda May is a spiritual life coach and founder of the Manifesting Miracle Worker brand. Amanda is a manifestation expert who has been studying the law of attraction for over two decades, and she teaches women how to harness the power of the mind to create the life of their dreams. With a focus on money mindset and a background in the financial field, Amanda helps hundreds of women across the globe every day overcome old stories and negative patterns so they can set— so they can call in the freedom and abundance that they want and desire. So help me welcome Amanda to the program. Amanda, so nice to see you.
So good to see you. I had to do the unmute.
Yeah, yeah, that's perfectly okay. That's perfectly okay. Where are you showing up from? Where are you hanging today?
I am right outside of New York City, and it's a very, uh, nicer day. It's a nicer day. It's getting nicer out. We're getting into the spring.
Right.
I love it.
Right. Good. Now you cut out a little bit, so where are you from? I see the Bills, the Bills, uh, hanging behind you.
Buffalo?
Of course. I'm not from Buffalo, though. No. Everyone— Buffalo is my favorite team.
I love football.
I am right outside of New York City. Oh, sweet. Right on Long Island. I'm on the Long Island-Queens border.
Now, that's one of my favorite cities is New York.
Yeah.
Manhattan. You know, who doesn't love Manhattan?
Well, when you've been here for a very long time, you kind of want to go out and experience a lot else sometimes. Right.
A lot of other parts of it. I'm sure. I'm sure. That's awesome. So before we get into the subject we want to talk about, which everybody wants to talk about— manifesting money, money, money— uh, but just tell us a little bit about you though, Amanda May. Who is Amanda May?
Oh, it's the opening question, right? And it's so hard to know exactly, but I feel like I always answer it differently. So I started manifesting, and, um, really I started to become interested in self-development tools about 2 decades ago. I was in college, I think I was right outside of college or maybe it was my last few years, and I was given the book The Secret. My roommate gave it, gave it to me. I was given the book The Secret and it kind of opened up the doors to this wonderful world of manifestation, creating the reality that we desire. Creating our desired reality through focused thought. Now, at the time, I was teetering on— I didn't know what I wanted to do. I felt like I had no purpose. I, I just was doing all these different jobs, um, you know, bartending, uh, hostessing. Nothing clicked. I really wanted my own thing. I really wanted, you know, something that would really light me up. And I also really needed money. So I always had that first focus on money and I just started to apply these principles to my life and it took me down a very interesting path. I did manifest a career, which at the time I thought was the career of my dreams. I thought it was my soul's purpose. I was working in finance and I did manifest it. It was really everything that I had wrote down about wanting, what I wanted in a career. It manifested that way. It's a very long story, uh, but after that I kind of felt that desire to be doing something different again, and I wasn't feeling that fulfillment, um, and I started to take all these online courses, business courses with a focus on spirituality, um, manifestation courses, money mindset courses I was thinking, you know, I've been doing this stuff for a pretty long time. It's what I love more than anything. It lights me up more than—
lights you up. That's exactly what I was thinking. That's exactly what I was thinking.
And this is what I want to bring to others. I want to do the same. I want to be a manifestation coach and teach others how this can impact their lives in such beautiful ways.
Right, that's awesome. Now Something that jumped out at me when you, when you were sharing that is you manifested that financial, that financial career.
Yes.
And but that was properly manifested for that period or that chapter or that season, whatever people use the term, of your life, right? So it was exactly what, you know, you were manifesting and obviously you were wanting because you were able to manifest it. So you don't see anything wrong with that, right? Because people can manifest something that then changes and evolves and, and, you know, goes into a different direction and path, wouldn't you say?
Absolutely. I'm so glad that you pointed that out too, because we need to be open to how our desires are manifesting. And at that point in time, that is what I wanted, and it's what I needed, and I learned a lot. And even having that background in finance, allowed me to have even more credentials. Speaking about money, right? We're speaking about money mindset, spirituality, the woo-ness of it all, as you said in your intro. But I also have that financial background that kind of solidifies me as, you know, I also know what I'm talking about, not just the spiritual stuff. Right.
Well, and that fascinated me as well because, I, I've never come across someone who, you know, kind of studies Law of Attraction and manifestation that has a financial money background. And so when I saw information about you, um, to bring you on to the show, I was like, now that's both, you know, almost like the woo-woo and the how-to, you know. Um, and I have a program called It's a How-To, Not Woo-Woo. Um, but just because so many people can't connect to the woo-woo side of things and you're able to bring the kind of practicality of finance into that whole, that whole subject matter. So I absolutely love that. So I get how you got into kind of the manifestation arena and goal. Was it, um, was it, uh, grounded in the Law of Attraction, The Secret?
It was. Now, when I, when I discovered The Secret for the first time, I think I was in college, so it wasn't it wasn't while it was in my last period of college. I studied two majors, so I was there for a while. It wasn't a regular four-year run, like more like six years. But then I rediscovered the book after I graduated, when I was in that interim phase. So I kind of rediscovered the book, and at that moment is when I went on Amazon, I got all these other books, I went on the internet, I took all these courses, and it just I just kept trying to take and take and take any information that I could get because it fascinated me so much, and it made me get that— it made sense, right? You know, it made sense that our thoughts can create our reality, right?
Right. So why don't you dive into that a little bit? As far as, again, people, you know, looked at The Secret, maybe even read it, maybe like studied it, and yet it never stuck, or it never kind of made sense to them. So what is it that was— that made sense to you, uh, that you then were able to start applying, but then you went one step further and said, I can actually coach this as well? So what is it about all of that that really kind of has you very passionate, obviously, um, about helping other people manifest in their lives?
I think I felt like that was the missing link to everything, the mysteries of the world. I was always, you know, I was always so— I always felt like there was something else, something else, something else. Like, it's not just this daily routine, this 9 to 5, and, you know, wake up and go to work and do this and do that. There was something else that connected us. On a deeper level and connecting us to ourselves and our souls on a deeper level. So when I really, when I read The Secret and then when I went even deeper with all these other books and everything else that I've, everything else I've read and everything that you said, I can't think of the word, it just flew out of my head, over the years, that became like the secret, like that was the missing link. It makes so much sense. I would look at my current reality, where I was, and I realized, you know, past patterns brought me to this place. And when I started to play around with the law of attraction— and I say play around because I wasn't taking it seriously, it was just this fun thing that I was testing out, right? When I started to play around with it and play around with focus thought and energy in a positive way, I started to see crazy things happen that were no coincidence at all.
Well, and I, and I love that you use the terminology playing around because some people take it so seriously and, and very kind of strict and, you know, and, um, formal, I guess is the word I'm looking for, to where then when it doesn't work because they're not truly believing You know, and they're not, you know, they're, they're so attached to this thing, you know, is supposed to work. And when it doesn't come there, they dismiss, you know, the, the value. I love the fact that you say I played around with it because is that a casual approach that you take with your clients to kind of just play around with it, test it out, and, and as opposed to this is what you should do, 1, 2, 3, and 4. Does that make sense?
It makes perfect sense. Now, the type of person that I am, I was never a rigid person, right? I couldn't have everything mapped out 1, 2, 3, and 4. And even now, sometimes I'll feel like I kind of take a step back because I'll feel like I need to do this, this, and this in order to have my manifestation routine or my alignment routine. And then I realize some things aren't really working, and that's because I'm not playing around with it.
Ah.
And when I first started, I wasn't taking it seriously because it was just something fun. You know, it wasn't something I needed. When we need something, we release heavy energy. Need, need, need means we don't have it already, means that we're pushing something further away. So when I was really first starting out, it was fun. And I would see all of these consistencies and just things would happen. And there was one time I talk about this story a lot. One of the first big manifestations that I did was manifesting $500 in 48 hours time. And I wrote it down. It was in a book that I read. It's called E Squared by Pam Grout. It's an excellent book and it has all of these fun manifestation methods and games in it. One of the methods was to manifest something in 48 hours. I said, let's do $500. And it worked and I kind of forgot about it. At the end of the 48 hours, I forgot about it. So it was, again, it's fun. I'm not thinking about it. I'm not thinking about why it's not here yet. Not thinking about that I don't have it yet. I'm not getting angry or, you know, any of that resisting energy around it. So when I kind of released it and forgot about it, all of a sudden something pushed me to get, 2 lottery scratch-off tickets at the gas station. Something pushed me. It was like something was pushing me inside the store. And I got 2 scratch-off tickets. And I have the photos somewhere because it was just so mind-blowing. And the first one I'm scratching, and it was $200— first one I'm scratching was like $450. Something— it was like $400 or $450 on the first one. And then the second one was the remainder of the $500, like $50 or $100. And I'm driving, I'm like, what just happened? Like, this is insane. What just happened? And then I went back in my mind, I'm like, wait a minute, that experiment I wrote down a few days ago, and it happened just like that. Yeah, well, there's a lot to—
I'd love to have your thoughts on the comment about letting go. Well, you said release it.
Yeah.
Um, you know, because again, we hold so tight.
We're—
and There's been points in my life, also I'll be honest, like in 6, 7, 8 years ago where I was so desperate for, you know, to earn income, you know, to take care of some, you know, some bills and whatnot. I was so desperate, uh, and yet that, that code and that desperation was working against me and I didn't understand it at all. So help us understand that a little bit more based on what you just explained of just releasing it and not thinking about it and, and just going with it.
So to understand that, I guess you kind of have to understand how manifestation works.
Go for it.
So manifestation works by focusing our thoughts and our feelings, focusing them consistently on what we desire. Now the idea is that we want to embody the version of ourselves that already has the thing we desire. Let's say it's $500. Okay, let's make it easy and say I want to manifest $500. So what I need to do is kind of calibrate my energy into this person who already has the $500 because it's the law of attraction, right? Like attracts like. That's the law. It's a universal law. Like attracts like. So when you're embodying the energy of the person who already has the $500, you're going to attract more of that $500 energy. And then what happens is that you actually manifest that thing into existence.
So, okay, but I need to— I need you to clarify something because all of a sudden— okay, I, um, when you say you need to embody that person who has $500? So you're not telling them to go out and start spending $500 and act as if you have to find out $500, of which you don't have. That's why you're wanting to manifest it. What exactly does it mean when you say you have to embody that? What does it look like to someone?
It's all what it looks like to the unique individual person, and that's the question you need to ask yourself. What does that look like to me? How do I feel when I have an extra $500? How do I feel? How do I act? How do I walk and talk, right? Like, how do I carry myself? How, who is that person who has that extra $500? And now to piggyback off of the original question, which was about releasing and letting go.
Right.
When we have that needy energy of why isn't it here yet? I need it, I need it, I need it. It's not here yet. When's it gonna be here? When's it happening? You're just attracting more of that needy energy. You're attracting more of it not being here yet, and you're not being and embodying the person who has the $500.
Well, why? Why is it— why am I only creating more of what I have? Or so my desperation, say, and I'm acting in, you know, I'm acting very desperately, very anxiously. I'm just like, ah, Why am I, why am I attracting the exact same thing?
Because that's the law of attraction. Like energy attracts like energy. Like vibration attracts like vibration. Like thoughts attract like thoughts. And like feelings attract like feelings.
Right.
Law of attraction. Like attracts like. Yeah.
Well, I have to, I have to say that, um, I really never got this. I never understood it when I started studying it myself about 12 years ago, 13 years ago. And I was at the beginning stages of my shedding process, as I call it, shedding the bitch, actually. And then all of a sudden, as to your point, and because I'm trying to paint a picture practically for our, for our viewers and our listeners. So as I started looking at what I want, what I don't want, and especially the don't want, I started realizing that when I started looking around at the things and the people and the places that I had in my life, they were only— they were generating a lot of angst and anxiety and stress and, and whatnot and desperation for me. And yet I didn't pick up the fact that, well, that's how I was acting, and therefore that's why these people were in my life. And then all of a sudden I started looking at it going, well, yeah, I'm pretty nasty myself, and I'm no different than they are. And, you know, and I go to these places that aren't giving me any joy And I'm like buying these things that aren't given. So that was how I had a kind of— what, when I started seeing it, because I didn't get this whole like the, you know, one attracts the other, like attracts light, energy attracts energy. Um, so I thought— I find that so fascinating.
Also what you said about the want and the don't want, it's so important to look at the don't want. It's so important to look at your current reality. You know, when we get really deep into it, sometimes it can get a little more frustrating and maybe it's not as fun. That's why I love to infuse as many of those fun principles into my practice. But you know, you also gotta dig deep into what you don't want anymore, what you need to shed. You know, for me it was, I was holding all this guilt in and I'll still do it. My biggest thing is just guilt over so many things that don't matter. So for me, shedding is forgiveness, me forgiving myself, writing lists of every silly little thing that I'm holding inside that, you know, at the end of the day, it just kind of doesn't matter, but I am holding it inside.
Yeah. Yeah.
That's what I'm embodying. And whoever you are embodying, the person that you're embodying, you're going to attract more of that. Yeah. And the people that we surround ourselves with, as you said.
Right. And isn't that, on a practical note, isn't that also— I've said practical 3 times so far, I'm counting, and it's dumb, I don't know why I'm— but, um, and wouldn't that— isn't that also so true? Because we're comfortable with, you know, we're comfortable being with or living in or buying things that are comfortable to us, and, and therefore the like attracting the like. That's because We kind of resonate with that.
Comfort zone is a huge, huge thing. We are so scared to leave the comfort zone. We're scared of change. Yeah. We're scared of change even though we know we're not happy. You know, we know that we're not happy. We're not fulfilled living the way that we're living and being the way that we're being and surrounding ourselves with the people that we're surrounding ourselves with. But it's comfortable. It's what we know. We don't wanna change. It's hard. And that's why a lot of times I'll tell my clients, especially my students, you gotta do the thing that scares you. For me, it was leaving my financial job to start my own online business, my coaching business. It was scary. And I went through almost all of my savings, you know? Like, it was scary. But it's so rewarding in the end. Yeah, and to shift, be able to shift out of that comfort zone, it's going to be the most rewarding thing in the end. And that's also how you know you're on the right track, is when things start to feel a little uncomfortable, scary.
Yeah, it's true, it's true. And yet at the same time, I could be just as guilty. As much as I love change and I love taking risks and I love putting myself out there, as many people will say about me, There are areas, and like, I can talk money, you know, up until about 4 or 5 years ago. I can even talk love recently, like, you know, that I've stayed away from it for so long because I, you know, I'm very comfortable being by myself is what I tell myself, right? And, um, and yet, to your point, I love, I love your approach, and I love that Hulk, you know, just kind of playing with it. I just— that's going to stay with me forever. So I was talking, or I was reading and listening to Michael Bernard Beckwith. He's of the Agape Spiritual Life Center, and he was saying that if we choose to stay the same for our entire life and/or, in his words, eternity, it's hell. And when I heard that, when he said that, and I was watching him on a video, when I— when he said that, I was like, it struck me so Yeah, it struck me so deep because that's what exactly what you're saying is we have to be willing to change and we have to be willing to get uncomfortable. So how do you, how do you work with your clients to where one, they trust that they can be that vulnerable and open with you, but then because I love, you know, I mentioned in the intro about you have fun ways, but you know, and the, the whole, um play with it ideas is a fun way. So what are your tips? What are your techniques to get someone to really be comfortable being uncomfortable?
It's funny that you say that because I feel like I've never really had to— I don't want to say push, but I've never really had to push someone to really open up. I think maybe it's the questions that I ask, and maybe it's the style and the type of person that I am. I'm— it's And also when people come to me, they come to me because they want to get some sort of healing in their lives. They want to create better things for themselves. And honestly, if you're not going to be open to that, maybe it's not for you right now to have a serious relationship. Right now. Right now.
Exactly.
And that's okay too. That's okay too. You have to be gentle with yourself. I feel like that's my main principle. Be gentle with yourself. Be gentle with everything, all of your decisions, whatever happens, because it's really self-healing at its core. It's self-love and self-healing. It's about us. So other than that, you know, my first big practice with a client is always to do what I call the big bad brain dump. Okay?
That's the big bad brain dump. I love that.
Bad brain dump. And I almost stumbled on my words every time I say that. It's basically getting all of the shit out of your head and either onto paper or, you know, saying it out loud, all of that negative stuff. And it could look very differently to one person than it is to another. Oh yeah, it could. And I just say, just put pen to paper and just see what comes out. What is every negative thing that's coming out of your mind? What are you on? You know, what's in your life right now— that you want to change, that you don't like, what's bringing you down, what are all these negative things that you're holding up here that are holding you back right now, right? Right. That is step 1, you know.
Before you move on to step 2, so when you said earlier about thoughts— yep. So is this step 1 also where you're having your, your clients looking at their beliefs their thoughts and their emotions, or is that in 2, 3, 4, or 5?
It will— and I just said step 1. I don't even know if I'm gonna go to 2, 3, 4, or 5. Just saying that the big bad brain dump is always number 1. Okay, it is. It's looking at your beliefs. I go deeper into that after this simple brain dump, right? And it is because we're— you're going to see, you're going to build on that. You're going to build on every negative thing that came out of your mind And then as we go deeper, you're going to see, oh, this is a belief that I had. And then as we go deeper, you're going to see, oh, this is where that belief came from. Things in my life that have happened that created that belief. It all kind of connects.
Yeah. No, I love that.
Yeah.
Yes. Okay. Now I get it. So dump everything that's sitting on the surface, so to speak.
Yeah.
Then go back and dig even deeper for the beliefs and the experiences. Oh, that makes so much sense.
And it's a process, and it, it looks different with everybody. It looks very different with everybody. But, you know, sometimes even with myself, I'll focus so much on the bad and the negative and the things I need to get out and things I need to shed, and then I realize I got to bring it back up with those fun practices also. It's gotta be a good balance.
Right, right. And what are the fun practices? And then I wanna make sure we get to manifesting your Miracle Worker scripting method.
The book, yes. So the fun thing, it's when we're talking about manifesting, we wanna have fun 'cause we wanna be in a high vibration, high energy. And that's because the person that we want to be is probably happy, right? We're not trying to manifest something miserable here.
Let's hope not, people.
Life positive energy. Okay, so we want to be in that happy, fun, uplifting type of energy. And methods that we could do that will take us there— I have, you know, there's just so many different things, but I have fun methods. One is my evidence log. I like to write down all the evidence of my desires. So whatever I'm trying to manifest, whether it be something specific, like let's say a car, or if it's something more broad, like just my next level, I start to find evidence in my reality, my current reality, that these things are coming to me. That could look like anything from finding a penny on the ground if I want to manifest more money. It could look like seeing the car that I want to manifest on the road, or, you know, seeing someone that I know buy that car. When other people in our energetic spheres get the desires that we want, right, it's so important to not be jealous about it and actually look at it as evidence you're about to get this thing too. No, it's in your reality, right?
Yeah. I like that. Evidence.
Yeah, evidence. Just fun stuff, you know, embodying your future self, going out. I love to dress up as my future self. What does she wear? How does she do her hair? Right?
Just how does she do her hair?
Pretty much the same. I didn't really do it today. That's all wavy. I love that. And, you know, just like having fun with it because we want to be in that fun vibration, that fun energy to attract more of it.
Absolutely. Well, it isn't as simple as— and it always comes to mind when someone says that, that you smile at someone, they'll probably smile back at you, right?
It's that simple.
Smile, it changes you. And then smile at someone and what are they going to do, frown at you? Like, what the heck? You know, I mean, I guess there's some people that would In New York, there's a few people that would— Yeah, I bet, I bet, because they'd be like, what do you want?
What do you want?
So, um, tell me about your Manifesting Miracle Worker scripting method, because the script, I'm assuming, is a key word there.
So this scripting is writing our future self blueprint. Scripting is writing down what we desire as if it has already happened or as if it's currently happening. We are writing our future self blueprint.
It's—
but my method goes a little deeper into that. I like to go through my ideal day. What does it look like when I wake up in the morning? What do I eat? Who am I with? What do I do all day? Am I planning a beautiful vacation? Am I going shopping? Am I driving my ideal car? It really infuses all of these specifics into it.
Right.
Yeah. So that you start to get that feel of what it might look like.
Yeah, yeah. And you're living in it.
And you're living in it. Yeah. The more and more you do it, you're training your subconscious mind to believe you already have it, right? This is, this is my reality. It's like daydreaming, visualizing, you know?
Yeah.
And it isn't—
is it because they say that your brain doesn't know any different between, you know, good or bad, or, or what you have or what you don't have? So it doesn't know the difference between reality and a daydream, so therefore it's going to treat it the same way.
Absolutely. I'm so glad you brought that up. Yes, yes.
So you're trying to get to understand that, Amanda. I'll be honest with you, for the last couple years I've been trying to get— understand that, and I've been getting there. I've been getting there.
It's so important to remember to keep that everything is neutral. The universe sees everything as neutral, and your, your subconscious brain sees everything as neutral. There is no good or bad. There is no right or wrong. There is no up or down. Well, that's maybe getting into the laws of physics, but it's just everything is neutral. A penny is no different than a $100 bill. It's just money. That's it. Money. So, you know, there is some sciency stuff behind all of this, which I do not have the credentials to get into, but it is true, and your subconscious does not even know the difference. So it doesn't know the difference between the daydream and the reality.
So, so the point there would be for me that I'm taking from this is really focus and hire you to help folks stay in a state of manifesting, of visualizing, of creating that day in the life that you said, um, as opposed to allowing that time and space to be filled with worry and negativity and fear.
Exactly, that's exactly right. And it's also important to know that you're going to go back to negative and worrying. Yes, it is normal and we all go through it, right? But the more that we can have that consistent practice and the more that we can do consistent scripting, consistent manifestation methods, and our brain is focusing more on these happy, fun my next level things, the more and more we do that consistently, repetitively, the quicker we're going to see things start to appear.
Right, right. Yeah, we kind of went out there for a minute, but, um, I'll— again, I'll say I'll get that fixed. Um, okay, so you talk about, um, you talk about also the fact that money is energy, and there's energy— energetic vibrations, I think, is the term that you use behind money. All right, to me, money's passing money, you know, and I get something. All to understand exactly what you mean by that.
Okay, you just cut out.
Oh, I did? Okay, so let me, um, I'll repeat it. I'm not sure what is happening, quite honestly. So I'll repeat it and then I made a note of the time. I'm not sure what's happening here.
Okay.
All right.
Are you there?
Yep. Okay.
All right. Let me just make a note of 39. All right. So my question is, you talk about Energetic vibrations behind money. What exactly does that mean? What does it look like? What should I be consider— what should I be thinking about when it comes to that and manifesting at the same time?
So when it comes to money, money is money. Money, it's easier to think of it as abundance, right? That abundant feeling, an abundance of energy. There's abundance all around us. There's abundance of trees. Hopefully we'll have an abundance of food, an abundance of clothes that we get to wear. We're so grateful for all these things. So when we start to realize how much abundance we already have and we feel that abundant feeling, we will attract more and more abundance, especially in the form of money, if that's what our focus is. And what I was saying before about how, you know, money is all the same, basically. A penny holds the same energy as a $100 bill. It's just currency, money, abundance. The importance is how we feel about it. How do we feel when we have more of it? How do we feel when we have financial security, freedom? What does it look like? What's this? How does that make you feel? That's the thing you need to focus on, the feeling.
And is that because some people actually, you know, it's, it's funny to hear people that all of a sudden come into money, maybe it's from a career, maybe it's an inheritance, whatever, uh, maybe, and you know, a lottery like you, um, but it isn't— is it also because of the fact that some people all of a sudden feel shameful and feel like undeserving and, and don't have good mojo around the money that they've just, you know, that they've earned? So you have to shift that Recognizing that there is energy in money, and therefore, if you're looking at it as, well, I'm ashamed of my money, or that's just creating more stress than if you were to change those beliefs and work on shifting, or even shedding, as you even use that term, shedding those, those old beliefs and finding evidence of that's not true.
Well, also, I think gratitude plays a huge role in that as well. What, what you were saying about, you know, being ashamed of money and, you know, having that negative relationship with money, right? The opposite of that is having a positive relationship with money. That's what we want, right? When money makes the world go round, we all need it. So let's try to have a good relationship with it.
Right, right.
Being grateful for it, being grateful for what you already have, being so grateful for what you already have. It is, it's all in the vibration, the feeling, feeling abundant, feeling grateful, and then you attract more of those feelings.
Yeah, it's, yeah, it's, it's so true. And I can, I can tell you endless stories about, but it had, it happened only once I let all that negative crap and shed my bitch, did I start to manifest a great amount, and I feel very, very blessed and grateful for that. So what would you say, um, maybe you touched on it but you can summarize it, but what would you say is like the basics of manifesting?
Well, basics are feeling what you would feel feeling now how you want to feel then. It's all about feeling. Now everyone says it's, oh, your thoughts create your reality. It's really your feeling and your energy and your vibrations that create your reality. So the thoughts come into it because first we need to let the universe know what we want. Like when I wrote down that I wanted an extra $500, right? I wrote it down. I intended it. I even wrote, I intend to acquire an extra $500. I wrote it down. I got it out there. This is my desire. Then I focused on being the version of myself that already had $500, being happy, grateful for what I already had, feeling those high vibrations, those happy vibrations. And from there, I kind of just forgot about it.
I let it go.
I trusted that this thing is going to appear and I let it go. And what happens when you let it go and you trust the universe and you trust that it will appear? You're basically saying, well, I already have this thing because I'm letting it go. If I don't have— if I, if I'm asking why it's not here yet, where is it, why don't I have it, and worrying about that, that's embodying the energy of the person who doesn't have it yet. So when you let it go and you kind of forget about it If I have all this money in the bank, I'm not thinking about where my $500 is. I have it.
It's so true. I absolutely love that. I absolutely— and, and living as if you have it, that, that should for anybody feel, uh, relatable.
And that doesn't mean going out and spending all this time. Yes, yes, it does not mean that you need to go and ball out at the club and No, it's really all about energy and how you would feel. Do you feel freedom? Well, what activates freedom for you? For me, it's driving on the open road. I feel free. You know, there's so many keys you can work with it.
Right. And it also doesn't mean that you just write it down and expect that just from writing it down is going to do anything if you don't live in those other steps, the basics that you talked about.
Right, and you wanna live in those basics. You wanna live in those other stuff because it lightens you up. It makes you feel fulfilled and happy and you're living your life in such a different way.
Right, yeah, love it. Absolutely love it. All right, any last tips before we talk about your opportunity for anyone to reach out and actually engage with you? But any last tips that you would provide?
Be gentle with yourself. Be, be so gentle with yourself. It's a process. I'm, you know, and believe in yourself. Believe it's going to happen. Law of Attraction is a law of the universe. It's a law. Like attracts like. That's it. Like energy attracts like energy. We know it's a law. So as long as you do these repetitive actions and you live your life the way you really want to live it, it's law that it's going to happen.
So I have actually a follow-up question since you brought that up. Um, but okay, so how much does belief and trust have— and, you know, how much does it play into all of this? Because I can understand that, but if I don't truly believe or trust, then does it break down and does it become I mean, yes and yes and no, I guess.
Because when I, like, when I was first starting, it was fun. So it's not like I had to put all this trust and belief in the— I was just having fun with it. But when you get deeper into it and you start creating your next levels, your next levels of freedom and abundance, you want to start really, um, living your life by these principles. You need that belief as your basis. You absolutely need that belief as your basis. And a way to start believing is to start doing small manifestations like what I did, even if it's something like manifesting, um, you know, a rainbow or a glass of water, something that doesn't hold a lot of energy for you. And it's basically, um, it's working out your manifestation muscle. That's what I call it.
I love it. But I love the whole playing— play with it.
I love that.
I absolutely love that. All right, I wanted you, if you could, could you share with us your Manifestation Methods coaching that you offer? And everyone, I put the link in the below so you can kind of see where you can go and get information in regards to working with Amanda. But share with us about this program.
So this is a simple way to really get started in a manifestation coaching relationship. And it's a simple way, but it's also a very serious way. You know, it's not like something— it— you really want to be very interested in this. And it's just 3 1-hour courses, 1-hour classes where you're working with me to manifest your next level. It looks different for everybody else, but I take my whole toolkit and I throw at you whatever I think is going to work. And I'm also available almost 24/7 on Voxer. So that's like a walkie-talkie, right? Even though we meet face to face 3 different times, I will be there for you almost 24/7 through the walkie-talkie. So let's say it might look like a month, it might look about a month long, 3 different sessions, and the purpose is for me to really teach you how to dive into the Manifestation Methods and help you figure out your next level of freedom and abundance. Yeah, but wait a minute, who wouldn't want that?
All right everybody, I gave her a tiny.cc, um, address, so just go to tiny.cc/AmandaMayManifesting and definitely check that out. But at the same time, go to her website if you would and learn all about her and other ways that you could be working and engaging with her, because that's not the only way. Um, so go to, uh, it's amandamay.com and you can learn all about her and her services that she provides. And I absolutely love it. And start playing with it, people.
Start playing with it. I have to tell myself that. I'm gonna write that down. I'm gonna put that on a Post-it note everywhere in my room because I need to remind myself, right, right, right, right.
Well, you should trademark it for yourself. Seriously, because I love that. It's so unique and distinct from any— because I talk a lot to a lot of life coaches, but I absolutely love that. And because it takes some pressure off of me when I do think a lot of this subject can be woo-woo, it takes kind of pressure that I don't have to like, you know, be a, you know, a serious student about it at first.
I can just stay with it.
I absolutely love it. I love it, love it, love it. Yes, exactly. Well, thank you so much for being part of the program. Oh wait, I have one more thing. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday— okay, you don't want anything.
