Good morning everyone, it's Bernadette Boas with Shedding the Bitch and it is day 22 of my 90-day Shedding the Weight Bitch Challenge where I'm looking to lose, or I plan to lose, commitment, commitment, I plan to lose 25 pounds by April 23rd. And yet I am definitely feeling the highs and the lows. And this morning, I won't call it a low, However, I did get up this morning, and as you can see, I look like I'm all ready to go and get a nice workout in, although I would have pulled my hair back. But, uh, and yet I got up and I kind of got settled into my little routine of making myself breakfast and checking in on my emails and Facebook, and it's now 7:35, not late, but late to my standards. And I'm just not real motivated to get out there. It's cold, probably warmer than it has been in a long time, but unfortunately I'm definitely experiencing a wall. I feel a little bit stuck, but yet I'm choosing to be stuck because I'd rather stay and do what I wanna do in regards to work than to get out there and not put 100% into my workout and therefore I'll save it and save all my energies for this evening at kickboxing. But we all experience those highs and definitely those lows, and I have to admit, for close to 20 of the 22 days, I've been feeling really high about the whole program. So, I'm gonna let myself, I'm gonna, you know, give myself a break and let myself off the hook because I don't want this lull to impact the rest of my day. And I will get to the workout this evening, I can guarantee you that. But I guess a lesson for all of us is the fact that, A, we have to listen to our bodies. Two, we have to listen to our minds and our souls every once in a while and really kind of dig deep and understand what's causing you, you know, to kind of consider not giving it your all. And then once you own it and once you accept it and take accountability for it, then you can kind of move on with your day without a lot of shame or guilt or trepidation. So that's what I'm going to do. I am going to own the fact that I wasn't looking forward to getting up and getting outside today, this morning, because I really wanted to have the energy to make it a very productive morning. It sounds as if Charlie's awake, my dog. But anyway, and I kind of want to challenge you to do the same. That, uh, think about what's causing you to take action or not to take action and either accept it or do something about it and then get on with your day. So I'm going to get on with my day. Have a wonderful Monday. Oh, it's Valentine's, so happy Valentine's everybody, and we'll talk soon. Bye-bye.
