In this brief spiritual reflection, Betsy Guerra explains that when individuals are truly connected to the divine "vine," their words, actions, and service flow through God, making it seem as if God, not the person, is speaking or acting. However, because this connection can waver, having a solid foundation of knowledge serves as a crucial backup, ensuring that one remains equipped to serve with the gifts God has given. The core message is that effective service requires both spiritual connection and practical knowledge.

That's why many times you hear people say like, no, it wasn't me, it was God. Like, that's what connection does. If you're connected to the vine, then the one speaking through you, the one doing through you, the one serving through you is the source. But because we're not always 100% of the time connected, having the backup of the knowledge really, really, really serves us. The only way you can serve with your gifts that God gave you is by being equipped and connected.
