How To Manifest The Life God Dreams For You | 29
20 Jan 2026 · 52 min
A faith-centered coaching podcast (hosted by Betsy Guerra) that reframes "manifesting" as a Christian, co-creative practice with God. The episode defines manifesting as bringing thoughts and visions into the physical realm, explains psychological mechanisms (reticular activating system, subconscious beliefs/confirmation bias), frames manifesting biblically (Genesis 1:27–28, dominion/"yes universe"), presents a three-step process (ask, believe, receive), and gives practical tools using the VAST acronym (Visualizations, Affirmations, Say thank you/gratitude, T: Target/True/Transfer/Trust). It also emphasizes preparatory practices (surrender, connection with the Holy Spirit, self-love) and invites listeners to a Faith Based Coaching Academy.
Questions this episode answers
Ask; Believe; Receive.
V = Visualizations; A = Affirmations; S = Saying thank you (gratitude); T = Target / True (live as if true) / Transfer (give away) / Trust.
Genesis 1:27–28.
The reticular activating system (RAS).

So manifesting requires strong faith, strong belief, and you have that. If you're listening to this, you have faith and you're here to grow it. And we're going to do it by creating the life that you desire and that God created you to live. We're going to live the life God dreams for you. You ready? Okay, let's go. Today is the beginning of the rest of your life. It's a new year and you have New Year's resolutions and goals and dreams and aspirations. You set your intention for the year and now what? What do you do with all of this? You dreamt, you did that part. But how do you manifest? How do you bring into your physical reality that which already exists in your mind? Well, that's what today is going to be about. We're going to talk about one of my favorite topics that is overused and maybe misunderstood. So today I'm going to bring a lot of clarity towards it, which is manifesting. We think that to manifest is only like Law of Attraction, New Agey, like that cannot be more aligned with our faith if we tried. Manifesting is about bringing into our physical reality the physical realm, the one that we experience through our senses that which is already true in our hearts, in our minds, in our imagination, in our thoughts. And that's why at the end of last year, we did a little exercise in the last podcast of the year where we got to dream and visualize and you had homework and you were supposed to go to sleep every night visualizing the year that you desire to have. Like, what is it that you see in your day to day with the people you're in, like you're with? What relationships do you want to nurture? What new relationships do you want to attract? How is your financial situation? How is your legal. Like, is there any legal situation going on that you're ready to break free from? Is there a health issue that has been threatening your peace? Like, what is it that you're ready to step into in this new year and that you get to be intentional about creating? Let's define what manifesting means so that we can be on the same page throughout the entire podcast. Manifesting is the process through which we bring something from the non physical world, meaning your thoughts, your visions, your dreams, your imagination, into the physical realm. So now you can see it, you can taste it, you can feel it, you can hear it. So physical, the physical realm is that which we can experience, experience with our senses. So when we manifest, we attract into the physical experience. Because many times when you Visualize something, it's already true. Whether you can see it or not. You already know it's true because you feel in alignment with that which is already true in your mind. And that requires a lot of faith, a lot of belief. And that's why I think manifesting is extremely aligned with our faith. Because ultimately what it means is we co create with God. We believe, we practice our faith so fervently that the thing that we're able to see first in our minds is then experienced in the physical and other people can see it as well. So manifestation is co creating with God. This is going to be another podcast for another day because it's a very, very deep topic that not everybody feels ready for. So I'm going to get you ready for when the time comes. But, but I believe we are the producers and creators of our movie, this movie we call life. And a lot of people struggle with that in our faith because they think that what that means is like, I have the power and you know, God is separate and I can do this and I got this. But when I say we're the producers and creators of our movie, what I'm saying is we as one with God because there's no other better place to be in as like when we, when we tap into that oneness, when we tap into the indwelling God that we call the Holy Spirit, when we become so close, so connected, so intimate with God, we have the power of the Holy Spirit within. And yes, we can create the life that we desire. And by the way, that's when we're intentional about it. But we have the power already because he breathed, God breathed the Holy Spirit into us, his disciples. So we already have that power, but we don't always are intentional about exercising it and tapping into it. So we screw up and we create a life very different to the one that we consciously want. So we are manifesting all, all the time. Your current circumstances, your. The life as you know it is a result of what you've been thinking, what you've been believing, what what you where your faith has been, what you've been visualizing, what you've been worried about. You, you, you have the power of the Holy Spirit to create, to co create life. We do it in our pregnancies as women. Like we co create life with God and we can't do that alone. We do that because God, our Creator, allowed us to do it. And through us, we're the vessels of giving birth to our children. And we're also the vessels of Giving birth to the life that we were created and meant to live. So we get to be intentional about creating life in 2026 and doing it with consciousness, with awareness, with intention. So what is manifesting? Manifesting is bringing from our imagination, our minds, our thoughts, our feelings into the physical world. It is also a process of co creating life with God. How does manifesting work? Our thoughts, our beliefs, and our feelings shape our reality. Rhonda Byrne, the author of the Secret, said that our thoughts on are the cause of everything we experience. And the effect of our thoughts is our life circumstances. I'm gonna say that again. Our thoughts are the cause of everything we experience, and the effect of our thoughts is our current life circumstances. Therefore, whatever you're living right now, your current circumstances are the result of what you have believed and thought throughout your life. It's a strong thing to hear because it's like, wait, what this thing that I'm going through that sucks so badly has something to do with me losing my daughter, for God's sake, after being a psycho mom who was always with her, always attentive, always present, always caring, overprotector. All the things like, you're gonna tell me that I had something to do with that, even though I was so intentional about my keeping my daughter safe, maybe. And that's again, that's something that a lot of us have a hard time understanding. So let's remember that the mystery of our faith, we don't need to understand it all today. And today I don't want to talk about that. In particular today I want to tell you about the power you have to manifest and to change anything in your life that is not serving you at this moment. Now, manifesting is not a woo woo term that people talk about because they just want to sit in a couch and think about things and for them to be done and they don't want to put in the work. And there's science behind manifesting. And you know, I am really passionate about combining psychology and spirituality. So I am going to tell you what the science of psychology and what we know about the brain tells us about manifesting and how it is backed up by science. When you manifest, you essentially are tapping into your subconscious mind and the power that it has to create possibilities. So in the brain, there is a part of the brain called the reticular activating system. I'm going to call it ras. And the RAS is the part that is in charge of filtering outside information. When you're paying attention to, let's say you're Thinking about. I think I've talked about this in previous podcasts, but let's say you're thinking about buying a Jeep, and all you think about is Jeep and you read Jeep magazines and you go to the dealer and you talk to people who have Jeeps. When you go out, you're going to see a whole bunch of Jeeps. And it's not because there's more out on the streets. It's because you're paying attention to that, because your subconscious mind is all consumed by Jeeps. So now the RAS goes to the subconscious mind to see what it is that is important in the outside world that you need to pay attention to. Because if you were to pay attention to the millions of stimuli that are constantly around you, your brain would explode. So in order to protect your brain from exploding, the RAS filters information, and it filters according to what you have in your subconscious mind. Now, it's important that you know that your subconscious mind has two superpowers. That could also be a problem. Number one, the subconscious mind believes whatever you tell it. That's awesome. Because if you're living a life with intention and you're constantly telling yourself, I'm awesome, I got this. Of course I can create that. Of course I'm worthy. Yes, I'm gonna find love. I have all the money in the world. Life is good. I am healthy. My body is healing as we speak. If you're. If you're talking to your subconscious mind like that, with intention, it's going to believe it. It's just a matter of time at the beginning. You're going to get in the way. Your conscious mind is going to get in the way, and you're going to be like, oh, my gosh, I'm totally lying to myself. And I can't believe I'm doing this stupid exercise that doesn't make any sense because the doctor said that I'm not healthy. You get to reprogram your subconscious by telling it what you wanted to believe. But here's what happens. We typically don't talk to ourselves that way. We're not telling ourselves, like, I'm amazing, let's go. We're thinking like, oh, I'm such an idiot. I can't believe I got that wrong. Like, oh, my goodness, I failed. I made a mistake with my kids. Like, I'm going to traumatize them forever. Like, oh, there's no money in the bank. The accounts are below zero. I just got an email today. I have all this debt. I'm never going to get out of this hole. I'm sick. I'm feeling it. I know I'm sick. I'm tired. Like, I'm not going to say I'm energized. I'm tired. We're constantly talking down and we're believing the things that we experience in our physical, physical reality, right? Like it's what we feel through our senses. We believe what comes to our minds in the form of thoughts, which are just sentences. We believe. So then what we're feeding the subconscious mind is not what we want our lives to look like. It's not what we desire, it's what we think we already have. So then we create more of that. So your subconscious mind believes whatever you tell it, number one, and number two, it does whatever you tell it to do. So if I say my husband's not going to appreciate me ever, he's never going to change. Yeah, he's never going to change. Because your subconscious mind is going to act in ways that going to lead you to act in ways that's going to push him away and make him act the way you're used to him acting. And that's called confirmation bias. You're always going to confirm that what you believe is true because your subconscious is going to look for that evidence through the reticular activating system, the ras. So it's a, it's a self perpetuating cycle that you create unknowingly. The subconscious mind believes whatever you tell it and it does whatever you tell it to do and that, and it does that to protect you. And by the way, when you are awake, your conscious mind is the one usually operating right like the, and your conscious mind is more aligned with your ego, your personality, what you know about you, your subconscious mind is, is ever more powerful because it's all encompassing and it never sleeps. When you go to sleep, your subconscious mind is the one in charge of you breathing and your heart beating. So it's constantly there feeding you, feeding you, feeding you. And that's why it's so important to go to sleep with happy thoughts and wake up when you're in those hours of extreme productivity to have that daily morning practice that feeds you and supports the rest of your day. So the psychology says that your subconscious mind is going to constantly look for evidence or proof of what it already believes and then it's going to confirm it. That's called confirmation bias. And ultimately you're never going to change. And that's how your brain keeps you safe. Your brain keeps you safe by keeping everything just change the F for the M, the same. The brain thinks that safe equals same. That's why it's hard to change. That's why it's hard to get out of unhealthy habits, even though you want to. That's why it's hard to wake up in the morning, you know, the day before. You're like, I'm going to do it. I'm going to wake up and I'm going to work out. I'm going to do this. But then you don't because it's. It's hard for the brain to do something new. It takes more energy and it takes some reprogramming. And in manifesting, we get to reprogram our mind to believe our subconscious mind to believe what we desire to experience. If it can be true in your mind first, you will manifest it into your physical reality. Just look around who that you know and admire has accomplished something really great. Maybe someone's, you know, or you have run a marathon. I ran a marathon and I couldn't walk to the. Couldn't run to the corner. I literally couldn't run a mile without stopping. And I ran 26.2 miles. I don't even drive that far. But I believed it in my mind first. Every time I would go train, on the car ride, I'd be telling myself affirmations. I love waking up early. I don't. I'm more of a night owl. I love running. I'm so strong. Of course I can do 20 miles. I can do that in my sleep. My legs are strong and my heart is strong. And I got this. And at the beginning, I didn't believe it, at least not consciously. But at least it prevented me from engaging with the itty bitty crappy committee that we have in our heads or rooming negative thoughts. It prevented me from engaging with them and believing them. And eventually I believed that I loved waking up early and that I loved running and that I was capable. And I guess what, I manifested it. So manifesting requires strong faith, strong belief, and you have that. If you're listening to this, you have faith and you're here to grow it. And we're going to do it by creating the life that you desire and that God created you to live. We're going to live the life God dreams for you. You ready? Okay, let's go. So we talked about manifesting and psychology. I want to talk about manifesting and spirituality because I always combine psychology and spirituality. What does manifesting have to do with faith? Connection, number one. Connection. If you are on a mission to manifest the life that you dream of. For 2026, you must start by connecting to God. Because you must be one with God to co create your life. So if you're constantly spending time in silence, solitude, stillness with God, if you're constantly asking for guidance, if you're surrendering and saying like, you know God, this is the life I envision and I dream, I trust that you put that desire in my heart. But if that's not it, can you reveal to me the dreams you dreamed for me? Can you show me what you want for my life in the form of desire and excitement? One of my prayers is God, let yout will be my desire. I want to live the will of God for me. I want to build his kingdom the way he wants me to do. So as I'm sure is your case. So in order to manifest step one is you're required to spend time with God. Just today I was listening to scripture and it was Jesus healing the sick and taking out, driving out demons. And after he did a whole bunch of work and that I imagine he was exhausted, he would go up to the mountain and pray in silence and solitude. Like he always found time to be still and spend time with her Heavenly Father and disguise Jesus, right? Like, how much more will we need of that? So he's doing God's work, but he's always going to recharge to spend time with His Father and we get to do the same. So number two, what does manifesting have to do with spirituality in addition to connection? The Bible says in Genesis, when in the story of creation that God gave us dominion over the universe. So if you go to Genesis 1:27,28, it says God blessed them and said to them, be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground. Genesis 1:27, 28, God gave us dominion over the universe. He allowed us to rule. So the way I see it, so in Betsy language or Betsy isms, God created a yes universe for us. He created a yes universe. That's why I think the Law of Attraction is such a beautiful law for us to learn as Christians. Because, you know, I know that when they teach it, they usually talk about universe, but who created the universe? This is connected to our faith and to God. So God gave us a yes universe. And what that means is that whenever we think or we believe something like, I'm never gonna find love. Yes, the Universe says yes, it's what you're asking for. It's not what you consciously want, but subconsciously it's what you're focusing on. I'm never gonna find love. Okay? Yes, the subconscious mind believes whatever you tell. It acts accordingly. So you become unattractive and you repel the men in your life or the women in your life that you're wanting to attract. Consciously. I'm never gonna get out of this hole. Yes, I'm gonna be abundant and have all the money in the world. I got this. Yes, I'm never gonna heal from this cancer, this tumor, this health issue that I have, this immune disease. Yes, I'm healthy and strong, and I am healing my body with my belief and my faith because nothing is impossible for God. Yes, I got this. Yes, I ain't got this. Yes, God gave us a yes universe. You decide what you're going to put out there consciously or unconsciously, and the universe that God created for you to have dominion over is going to say yes. Now, we sometimes insist in understanding spiritual things rationally and conceptually. And I invite you to consider not trying to go down that rabbit hole and just try to understand this spiritual thing that I'm sharing with you spiritually. So instead of reasoning and like, no, Betsy, but that doesn't make sense because this happened to this person. And what about, like, the hunger in the world and what about the people who get hurt or abused? We try to prove a concept wrong when we have the opportunity to. Number one, embrace the mystery. And number two, invite the Holy Spirit to be the one who thinks for us. And just take whatever of this message resonates and is meant to be received by your soul. Don't try to question it, because like I said, rationally speaking, psychology confirms that whatever you question and whatever you don't believe will be confirmed confirmation bias. You will find evidence of what you want to focus on. So my invitation is that you focus on belief. Like, what is, what is here for me? What do I get to tap into? So, number one, you get to connect ever so deeply to God so that you may be one with the indwelling God, with the Holy Spirit, so that you may create life intentionally. Number two, you're going to remember that God gave you dominion over the universe and he gave you a yes universe. And whatever you put out there, whatever you focus on, whatever you believe, whatever you say, you attract because the universe says, okay, your wishes are my command. That's a phrase that I got from Run the Burn. It's like a Genie. The universe is like a genie, like taking. Taking orders. And then, number three, you get to strengthen your faith. You may not manifest if you don't believe wholeheartedly in what you cannot yet see. And I love this quote in the Little Prince, a very famous book that says, okay, I may butcher this, so bear with me. It's something along the lines of, you only see rightly through the heart. What's essential is invisible to the eye. So we rely a lot on our senses, and we're like, that's true, and that's real. Because I saw it and I heard it and I tasted it and I touched it and I saw it with my own eyes. Well, you cannot see Jesus, God, the Holy Spirit with your own eyes. And you believe what is essential is invisible to the eye. You cannot see the love that you have for your parents, for your children, for your spouse, but it's as real as it gets. You cannot see the wind, but you know it's there. You feel it. So what is essential is invisible to the eye. And therefore, that thing that you desire to manifest that you can't yet see, that's why you want to manifest it. That's why it's a goal or an intention. A dream is already true. It's already visible to the heart. It's already a possibility in your mind. All you have to do is download it into the physical reality so that you can experience it with your human eyes. And faith is an important part of the process of manifesting. So there are three steps to manifesting. I learned this from Rhonda Byrne, but I think a lot of spiritual teachers or manifesting teachers have spoken about it. And the three steps are, number one, ask, number two, believe, and number three, receive. And when. The number one ask refers to have clarity of exactly what you desire to express into your physical reality. Like, what is that dream? What is that goal? What does it look like? Let's say that what you desire is to have financial freedom. Well, visualize yourself having an abundance of money in your bank account, having all your bills in autopay, not having to check your account to see if you have enough to pay whomever or to invest on something. Feel free, feel abundant, connect with all of the feelings and experiences. What would you think? How would you interact differently? How would you show up differently? What things would you invest in? What things would you not invest in? What decisions, different decisions would you make if you already felt financially free? Right? Like, what would that look like? When I did this work a few years ago, I had Numbers that I wanted to see in my bank account at any given moment. I had a feeling associated with it. Like, I love generosity, and God is always putting things in my heart to, like, give to others. And I remember, like, having visions of, like, me being able to be a little bit like Oprah and be like, you get one and you get one and everybody and just be able to be, like, generous the way my heart drove me to it and not have to think or worry about whether I was gonna have enough to share or to keep in order to make ends meet. So I remember connecting with that feeling, having clarity on what numbers were in my bank accounts at any given moment. There were a lot of details, a very detailed vision. That's why visualization is such a powerful exercise, because it allows you to see what is it that I'm not seeing clearly yet in my imagination that may be preventing the manifestation from happening. It's a great exercise to do. Ask means to clearly define your desires. And while we're at it, because yesterday in one of my coaching programs, one of my students asked, but, Betsy, you say to live in surrender, and now you're telling us to manifest. Like, how do the. Isn't there a contradiction? Are you surrendering or are you proactively pursuing? And I explained to her that it's both. And you get to surrender and ask for guidance and let God be the one to reveal the desires of your heart. Let your will be my desire, Lord. Let him reveal the desires. Let him give you the excitement of like, oh, I want to do this, I want to pursue this. But always be connected so that you know it's coming from him and not from your ego. Not from a materialist desire of yours or un capricho, like they say in Spanish, right? Like, is it coming from God? So that's the surrender part. It's required for manifesting and living a guided life. So you surrender to the will of God and you connect with him so that you're open to receiving his dreams for you. And then once those dreams start emerging, you proactively pursue it. Because then what happens is if God puts something in your heart and you just sit there and wait for, you know, for him to do the next thing without you participating. Remember, you're co creating life with God, then really you're sinning of a mission. You're sinning of staying in, thinking energy and not taking action. You're sinning of not doing the thing that he asks you to do and that he asked for you to be a vessel of you are the answer to people's prayers. I tell this to my students all the time. The majority of my students came into the faith based coaching academy because they wanted to be better humans. They never intended to be coaches. They don't care to be coaches. They have a career or they're a stay at home mom, or they're a teacher. They just, or they're a nurse and a doctor. Like I have a lot of people in the service industry that like professionals who serve others and they want it to be better. And it turns out many of them were invited into coaching. I have one of my students who was in data analysis from an Ivy League like master's degree in data coding and, and she's coaching because after coming here to become better, God called her to it. That's living a life of surrender and being guided to where he wants us to be. And can I tell you that he will always amaze you. You will be in awe of the things God does for you in your life if you let him. So when you ask, ask spiritually, ask from the deep desires of your heart. Because I believe if you have a deep desire in your heart, God put it in there and you are responsible and you have the privilege of obeying. It's what you get to do. Okay, so number one, ask. Number two, believe. This is where faith comes in. It's hard to believe that I'm going to get out of debt when I keep getting bills and no money's coming in. It's hard. But when you choose to believe, and that's what faith is about, it's a choice when you choose to believe, when you reprogram your subconscious mind through affirmations and telling it what you wanted to believe internally, when you focus on gratitude, when you believe that all things work for the good of those who love him, that with God all things are possible, then it doesn't matter what's happening in your current reality because what's happening in your current reality is a result of what you thought yesterday. But you're thinking different thoughts today to create a different reality. And you get to believe and trust that the physical manifestation of what you believe in your heart will follow. So if it's your marriage that you get to improve and that you get to focus on so that it's more holy. If it's your relationship with your kids, if it's your career, if it's the finances, a legal issue, if it's your health, it may not seem real now. It may feel very woo woo to be Thinking like, oh, I'm healthy. But the thoughts that you engage with today will create and manifest your reality of tomorrow. Number three in the process is receive. So number one, ask. Number two, believe. And number three, receive. We sometimes block the access that God has to giving us these manifestations, like to giving us the graces, the blessings, the gifts that we've been praying for. You have no idea how many people I've had that say, like, you know, I just want to be loved. I just want my husband to love me. But then I'm like, but you're pushing him away constantly. And when he does love on you, you're like, no, that's not true. And you don't believe him. Like you're blocking access to love, you're blocking love from coming in. And. Or sometimes we're like, God, help me, forgive this person. But forgiveness is a big gift. And your container where you can fit it, the drawer in which you can, the drawer of your soul where it can fit, is too little. Then we expand and that's what we do at the faith Based coaching Academy. We expand you so that, so that you as a container of the Holy Spirit, the temple of the Holy Spirit, the home, the tabernacle, if you're Catholic, like as a container of, of that indwelling God, the Holy Spirit, you must expand to fit in the graces that you've been asking and working on believing. Do you understand? Like if you ask for a car and the space you have to store your car is a drawer, it won't fit. You need to be the size of a garage. Expand your life, expand your mind, expand your imagination, expand your faith, expand your belief, expand your self worthiness so that you believe that you're worthy of receiving that which you desire wholeheartedly and God is dying to give you. I've told you this before and I'll say it again. God is like Santa Claus and he has this big bag of blessings and graces and even material things because ultimately the material things are not what matter, but their instruments that help you fulfill your purpose. So he has all of that in his big red bag of blessings. But when he goes to the chimney of your heart, it's clogged, you're blocking it. Open it, open it so that you may receive. So it's ask. Be clear on what you desire. Believe. Have faith in what you cannot see and receive. Be open to the blessings that are already yours. We're just waiting for you to believe and be open to receive them. Now, there are very important things that will help us prepare for manifesting the life that God dreams for us. Number one, surrender. We already spoke a little bit about that. Surrender is about giving God power over your life, letting him drive, letting him be the one who inspires ideas and desires and possibilities in your life, like listening. And typically that comes with a sense of peace. When you're in surrender, when you're letting him drive, you're at peace. Even if things are falling apart, even if your bank account is below zero, even if your marriage is in scrambles, even if your health seems to get worse and worse every time you go to the doctor, you have peace because you know who's driving. He cannot fail. God can never fail. We will fail. I was just talking to another one of my students and she's like, I have this sense of urgency to be a good mom, and I've made so many mistakes. And I'm like, I and you will continue to make mistakes. That's why we don't rely on ourselves. We rely on the indwelling God that we get to connect with through surrender. So surrender means live a guided life and then act on those guided ideas and possibilities, take guided action. Now we also get to expand, as I mentioned, and for that, we sharpen the saw. We sharpen the saw by expanding our mindset by listening to podcasts like these, by joining the Faith Based Coaching Academy, which, by the way, starts today. So if you still want to be in this cohort, make sure that you reach out to me. You can send me an email. Dr. Betsy guerramail.com Dr. Betsy guerramail dot com and I'll see what I can do for you. But if you feel called to begin expanding now, I'm your girl. And number three, in order to manifest, you must love yourself if you are connected to God and you understand that you're his creation, mi gente that doesn't create junk. So if he is your creator, you're awesome. You're amazing. Like, you should be looking at yourself in the mirror and be like, my kiss is for you, Betsy. You're so amazing. My husband's always joking that I know how awesome I am. And every time I tell him, every time he asks like, oh, how was this? How was that? Like, oh, baby, I did great. I was so good at it. I was so amazing. He always does this thing of patting him, you know, patting me in the back because I'm always patting myself in the back. In order to manifest, you must love yourself. And it's easy to love yourself when you know that God Lives within you. You love God. Well, you should love yourself because he's inside of you. He's a part of you. He is one with you, you are one with him. Better said. So I think it was Oprah who said, and Jamie, currently Lima repeated it in her podcasts. You don't get what. Okay, I may be wish hearing it again, so bear with me. The message is on point. But, but maybe the quote isn't. She said something along the lines of, you do not get what you want, you get what you believe you deserve. You don't get what you want, you get what you believe you deserve. So in order to manifest what you dream of, you must love yourself. Because if you love yourself, you're going to feel worthy of great blessings and graces. You're going to feel worthy of that life you dream and stepping into the one God's dreaming for you. So self love is a very important part of manifesting and you get to work on that at the Faith Based Coaching Academy. You're welcome to join us. So just send me an email. Like if this is tugging at your heart, just do it, do it. Stop omitting it, just do it. Okay, last but not least, what are the tools? How do I manifest? Okay, I understood the concept. Okay, but like give me some practical things here, Betsy number one. Well, first we're going to use, we're going to use an acronym. I love acronyms because it helps us remember. So we're going to use vast as an acronym because you may have vast possibilities. Vast money, vast love, a whole lot of everything. So vast is going to be the word that we're going to use to remember the steps and the tools to help you manifest. Number one, visualizations. Love them. They're powerful and the subconscious mind believes whatever you tell it. So if you visualize and make it very clear and you use all your senses and you provide all the details and it's a colorful movie in your mind that when you think about it, you rejoice and it fills your heart and you, you're so excited and you feel how you would feel if it was already true. You've done a good job. So it's a, you know, it's a work in progress. So don't worry if the first time you, it's, it feels weird and you think it was unsuccessful, you keep at it. Just the exercise and the intention will help you become better at it. So the V is for visualizations. See what you desire to observe with your eyes, but see it first in your mind. And your heart. Number two is affirmations. That's the A in vast. Affirmations is telling yourself what you want to believe. And you remember to consider three things. Number one, it's the three Ps. Number one, make it in the present moment. So don't say, I will be financially free. No, I am financially free in the present moment. Make them positive. That's the second P. Like, I am financially free instead of I'm not going to have debt. Because then you're focusing on the debt. And the universe is a yes, universe. So if you're debt, debt, debt, debt, it's like, yes, yes, yes, yes. Right. So make it positive. And then number three, make it powerful. The affirmations must be emotionally powerful. So put emotion into it. Don't just say like, I am beautiful, because Betsy told me to say that, but I'm looking at myself in the mirror and she's lying. I'm beautiful. You're so gorgeous. I love you so much. Look at yourself in the mirror and like, add emotion so that your subconscious mind will believe it more profoundly. So affirmations, reprogram your subconscious mind. And it's important that you do it with those three piece in the present moment. Positive tense. Because the brain doesn't understand the negatives. And in a powerful emotional way, the S in vast stands for saying thank you. There was no G in vast, so I couldn't use gratitude. And I wanted to separate it from the T's because T is more than one. So I wanted it to be like its own thing. Saying thank you and feeling thankful is probably the most important part of manifestation. If you are living in gratitude for what already is, not for what you for. Oh my gosh. Like, you know, we tend to focus on what we don't have. We live in. Live in the gap. There's a book called the Gap and the Gain. So we live in the gap, which is like, oh, I still have this gap, this, all this remaining. And then we're invited to live in the gain, which is looking backward, measuring yourself, looking backward, and realizing like, I've come so far along. Like, wow, right? So gratitude is about living in the gain. Like realizing like, oh, I'm not there, but like, I have this and I have that, and thank you, God. And there's a scripture, I butcher all the quotes in scripture. So I'm sorry, but. But the message is still intact. There's a scripture that says that, you know, to him who little is entrusted, and they, you know, we do a great job with that. Little bit. Then more will be entrusted to us. So when we are grateful for the little we have, then God is like, they're ready for more. Let's go right, like, so be grateful. And by the way, gratitude is a very high frequency emotion. Like we vibrate at like radiant, you know, megahertz. Like, we're attractive, we're vibrant, we're happy, we're joyful, we're peaceful. When we're grateful and what happens is then we're telling the world we're ready. Give it to me, baby. We're ready for all those blessings you have in store for us. So gratitude, gratitude, gratitude. It say thank you. The S invest. And then T stands for target. True transfer and trust. I'm going to go through each one of them. So the T of target means what we focus on, we create more of. I think that was a quote by Tony Robbins, if I'm not mistaken. So when you target something, when you target abundance as opposed to focusing on debt, then you're telling the universe, the universe that God gave you dominion over. You're telling God, I'm ready, I'm ready for abundance. And my eyes are fixed on that because I believe and I trust and I see it coming. So focus on the thing that you desire to experience, not on what you don't. So instead of thinking like, oh, I just want to get rid of debt, change it. Because debt, debt, debt, debt. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Change it to, I desire to be abundant. I have so much money coming in that I get to use to do the things that God is calling me to do without worrying about anything about the finances. Right. So make sure that you're targeting, you're focusing on the thing you desire and not on the thing that you're trying to avoid. I don't want more conflicts in my relationship. No, no, no. I have a holy relationship, sacred. I'm living the sacrament of my marriage. I am growing with my spouse. We're evolving, we're changing, we're sanctifying, we're purifying, we're becoming better. Focus on that, not on what you want to eliminate. This is the hardest part, let me tell you, because even I, that I breathe this, find myself like it's so hard. So what I do when I'm having a hard time staying centered in the thing that I desire is I'm constantly listening to books or podcasts or talking to friends that are shift my energy. I call them mood shifters. So read scripture, pray, talk to people, music, whatever shifts your energy to gratitude. Focus on that to be able to retarget. Shift your focus. The second T stands for true already. Live as if this was true in your physical reality. Act, feel. Think as if that abundance that you're looking for in your relationship, in your bank account, in your health, is already yours. Act as if it was already true. Some people say, fake it till you make it okay. It's faith. It's faith. Act as if it was already true and true and be thankful for it. So say gratitude. Praise. You have no idea how many times I thank God for my husband and I hadn't even met him. I was like, thank you, Lord, thank you. Because I love him so much and he's so special. And I just visualized it and saw him and ta da, I am. I've been this year, it'll be 20 years that I've been happily married with my soulmate, the love of my life. And I always say, like, it's Jesus Christ and he's a close second, because I'm obsessed with the guy. But I. But I manifested him. I believed that he was already mine, even though I hadn't met him. So when I met him, I didn't meet him. I recognized him. And that's what manifesting is about. Recognize what is already true now, but you cannot see it with your eyes, only with your heart and your soul and your faith. The third T for vast is transfer. Everything we desire, we must give away. Give it away. What do you want more of money. Give it away. Be generous. What do you want? More love. Give it away. I will share a few quotes that I thought were so beautiful and illustrate this. Zig Ziglar said, you can have everything in life that you want if you just help enough other people get what they want. And there's another one that became popular with the law of attraction that says, if you want something, give it away. And another one by Eckhart Tolle that says, whatever you think the world is withholding from you, you are withholding from the world. So one of the ways to manifest what you desire is give it away. And you may think like, how am I going to give away the thing that I don't have enough of? Well, you'd be surprised. I remember a student of mine saying, you know, they were in a legal problem and they lost their wealth. And all she could think of was, I wish I would have donated $10,000 to this charity, because I didn't think I was in a position to do that back then. But now that I am so depleted and that everything has been taken from me. I realized I could have, right? Like we always can give away the thing that we desire more of always. There's always someone in a worse situation or it doesn't even have to be in a worse situation, in a need for the thing that we desire and can give to them. So transfer is about transferring the thing that we desire, just giving it away. And you'll see, you're telling the world, like, I have an abundance of this and I can share it. So then the giving it away comes from a place of abundance. So it's your subconscious mind, your spirit, knowing that it's already yours. And lastly, the last T in vast is for trust. Trust God, trust the process. Trust that even though you can't see it yet, he's doing something. He's like playing chess up there and putting things in the heart of someone and the other person so that they can provide the answer to your prayer. And by the way, he's doing the same thing with you. I always tell my students, you are the answer to someone's prayer. You must show up for them. That's why I'm unapologetic about inviting people in the faith based coaching academy because it's. This is a gift that God has entrusted me with and that I get to share with humanity. And I am the vessel. So how I. How dare I not share and invite people in to receive the graces he has for them in my program? I didn't want to be. I didn't want to be the, you know, I didn't want to have a coaching academy. I never planned that. I didn't graduate and say, like, I'm gonna have a Kochi academy when I grow up. I was having my private practice, I was doing great. I was happy, peaceful, joyful. And then Se Bu. Se. You know, he decided to. He decided it was more for me and the people that I'm capable of serving based on the gifts that he's given me. And the same is true for you. So vast possibilities are available to you. You get to manifest, co create life with God and decide by thinking things today and feeling into those possibilities today so that you may express them into your physical reality tomorrow. And how we do that is having a vast mindset, vast meaning, visualizations, affirmations, saying thank you, like indulging in gratitude and then transferring what we desire, giving it away, targeting the things that we want, not the ones that we're going through right now. Trusting God with all our heart and all our might and acting as if it was already true. So, my friend, if you're ready to make your dreams come true, manifest the life God dreams for you. By connecting ever so deeply with him and creating, co creating with him. By assuming responsibility, by being accountable and by staying close to Him. I love you. I hope this serves you. I cannot wait to hear the miracles that unfold as you implement these tools. Have a beautiful day. Ciao.
