Bill demonstrates the infinity walk with a pivot step, which forces greater head and neck rotation to boost vestibular stimulation and core stability. Start with one barrier and a visual target, then progress to two barriers in a figure-8 pattern, pivoting at each end while tracking the target.

Hi, I'm Bill from Beyond Fitness Online. Today I want to talk to you about the next level of the infinity walk. Now, if you saw my original video on the infinity walk right here, you saw that we used 2 barriers and a visual target. If you haven't seen that already, check it out. But what I want to do today is tell you how to progress that exercise. Now again, you can do this with just body weight or with weights in your hand, but you'll just need the same setup that you had there. What we're going to be adding to this is a pivot step, and what a pivot step does is forces a lot more head and neck movement. This will in turn increase the amount of vestibular stimulation that you get and can really amplify the results you might, you might get from this. So you can check that exercise out right here. Before we get into the advanced version, First, you want to learn how to do the pivot step. So start with one barrier and use your same visual target. You're going to walk around that barrier, keeping your eyes on that target the whole time. When you can no longer turn your head to keep your eyes on the target, you're going to want to go into a pivot step. Your rules are simple: always walk forward, never take a step backwards. And when you do this, it will force you to turn your head, your neck, and your spine. Now, as you can see here, we have Chris who has done this now with 2 barriers. So just like we did in the first version, you walk around the 2 barriers in a figure-8 form and you use that pivot step on each end, keeping your eyes on the target the entire time. I hope you found this exercise helpful. If you have any questions or comments, leave them below. If you haven't already, please subscribe to my channel. I post new updates every Friday.
