Hi, I'm Bill from Beyond Fitness Online. Today we're going to talk about shoulder mobility. Now in order to have good shoulder mobility, we need to have good thoracic spine mobility, which is where your ribs are. Okay, so that's the spine where the ribs are. And that's because of how the shoulder complex moves around the rib cage. Now in order to have good spinal mobility, we have to have good vestibular function. And if that happens, what that can do is reduce shoulder pain, give you more strength, and better stability through the core. So So I've got 3 great little drills I can show you right now. Give them a try and follow me for more tips and tricks just like these. This first one's a thoracic extension. Have the roller underneath your shoulder blades, arms on your head, and just extend your thoracic spine. Then go to a seated position and try to do the same movement without the guide of the foam roller. Finally, with your hands on your head, you'll rotate just through the thoracic spine, lean over and bend, and then come back up, rotate further.
