Welcome to the Eating Until Satisfied video. In this video, we're talking about how much you should be eating. And this can be a very difficult thing for a lot of people, especially if you're new to trying to control your nutrition, okay? If you've just been eating whatever, whenever, this can often be a challenge. So, it's important to understand that by eating quality sources of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats together at each meal, You will keep yourself feeling more satiated longer, and you will curb your hunger cravings. And if you are constantly feeling hungry, you probably have that ratio incorrect, okay? This will lead to better blood sugar regulation if you're eating all 3 together. It will lead to positive health changes in terms of energy. You might see skin issues resolve. You might see yourself lose body fat. All positive things. There's more that can happen from this. Every person is different and needs different amount of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats in terms of their ratio. If you want to get more specific into this, we talked about this in the nutrition video in the intro course. If you haven't gotten the intro course, send me an email and I'll make sure that you get it. And we talk about all the different percentages and how to break that down so you can figure out what works for you. If you balance this ratio correctly, you will find that you are satisfied for longer periods of time, and that every 4 hours or so, you're like, yeah, I think I'm ready for the next meal. And you'll eat small amounts, and you'll feel great. You'll have more energy throughout the day. If you eat and you feel hungry again in less than 2 hours, you need to reduce your carbohydrates. You need to increase your protein and fat intake. If you feel like you ate too much and you want to skip the next meal, You had too much fat and not enough carbohydrates. So that's how you'll really determine it. And everybody's different here, so you've got to figure out what ratios work for you specifically. Now, undereating is an important thing. You don't want to undereat either. Undereating will lead to binge eating later. So if you skip a meal, if you skip lunch and you get to dinner, you're going to be so hungry and you're just going to start stuffing your face. You're going to eat faster, you're going to chew less, you're going to get less Nutrition out of your food, you're gonna overeat. You don't want to undereat or skip meals, okay? This is what I call the rebound effect. And you don't want that to happen because it leads to really poor habits. And the next thing you know, you've eaten too much and you just sit there feeling guilty about it, okay? Now, are you gonna be perfect the rest of your life? Absolutely not. If you miss a meal or you overeat a meal, or you eat something you probably shouldn't have eaten, Forgive yourself. It's important to understand that you are going to slip up, or there's going to be situations where you're like, you know what, I'm just not gonna stick to the plan today. And if you do those things, it's okay. Just forgive yourself and move on. Stay on track. That's my best advice in terms of portioning out your food, determining how much to eat, Okay, up next we're going to talk about when to eat. Also a very, very important factor, very important variable in your nutrition. So I look forward to getting into that with you in the next video. If you have any questions on this stuff, please feel free to shoot me an email and I'll respond to you directly. Have a great day. Thank you, Bill.
