Bill from Beyond Fitness Online shows how where you look changes how far you can rotate. Looking toward the direction you're turning lets you rotate farther with better coordination. Eyes forward, toward the rotation, and away from it all produce different ranges of motion.

Hi, I'm Bill from Beyond Fitness Online. If you've watched my last couple of videos, it's been about what to do with your eyes when you're doing certain kinds of movements. We've talked about extension and we've talked about flexion. If you want to see those, you can check out my channel or check this out right here. Now there's one more piece to this. If your eyes move left or right, that helps facilitate rotation in that direction. So if you're looking to this direction over here, that will actually allow you to move your body and rotate further in that direction. So I'm gonna show you an example of that right here. In this example, I'll be rotating right. In the first example here, my eyes are pointed straight ahead, basically looking right over my hands. You can see you get a decent amount of rotation there. Now, if you take the eyes and move them to the right while you're rotating to the right, you can see you go significantly farther. The coordination becomes a lot easier. Now one more just to make the point. If you take your eyes and look away from where you're turning, you can see you go significantly less. So as you can see, it can be really beneficial to move your eyes into certain directions based on the exercise or movement that you're trying to do. This will help facilitate more balance and More strength, more mobility. It's really, really good, really, really powerful. So if you have any questions, let me know in the comments below.
