Bill from Beyond Fitness Online shows a lumbar stretch for lower back tightness. Stand with feet hip-width apart, tilt your torso to the side using arm weight to deepen it, then complete a full circle. Do 3 to 5 rounds in each direction.

Hi, I'm Bill from Beyond Fitness Online. Today I want to show you how to do a stretch for your lower back or your lumbar area. I just did this with a client with great results. It's really good for posture, for movement. You're going to feel great after this one. So what we're going to do is we're going to set the feet up so they're about hip-width apart. Get good tall posture. Arms are going to be relaxed. While we're doing this, I want you to think about your pelvis. Don't let it move at all. We're going to tilt sideways. You're bending from here, not here. You're gonna let this arm come forward, and then you're going to just round and let your— the weight of your arms give the stretch. Come all the way around and then back up. You're gonna wanna go this way, and then you're gonna wanna go the other way. Do about 3 to 5 rounds each way and see how you feel. Let me know in the comments below how that worked for you, and follow me for more tips and tricks just like these. Thanks, Bill.
