A short instructional monologue about best practices for configuring first-look financing offers. Recommends leading with installment plans to lower monthly costs, providing no-interest/no-payment options (6–18 months) as an alternative to costly long-term 0% APR promotions, and using tiered offers so higher-margin, higher-ticket jobs receive stronger financing terms to improve conversion rates.
Foreign. So when getting set up, I like to, you know, really push people to first start with plan types. You know, Chris kind of mentioned them earlier on. And first starting with installment plans. Installment plans are the plans that you want to lead with because they have the higher terms. So they'll allow you to bring down that monthly cost and use that to know, introduce financing. Next, I like them to suggest looking at those no interest, no payments. I know a lot of you like those 0% for 60 months. But as Chris mentioned, those are super expensive. So one way to kind of provide an alternative for that cash buyer looking for that 0% APR is to provide a no interest, no payment, which will allow them to get that 0% APR, but pay it off when they have the money. And there are terms from, you know, 6, 12, 18 months that you can provide those offers for. And then finally is folding on the tiers. So with, you know, service, site and financing, you can add some tiers to determine at what price point certain plans are available. So you can think about it across those tiers. You want to offer those both plan types. But as you get to those higher ticket jobs where you have a little more margin to play with, offering better offers is going to result in better conversion rates. And it really just comes down to the monthly costs and those APRs that you can provide to the customers.
