Hey there, I'm Margot from Servicetitan and today we're going to walk through the Release notes for ST68 or better known as our Winter 2024 release, and how that will affect you as a technician on the mobile side. First things up, we're going to make emailing estimates and PDFs easier for you. So what you can do when you're adding an item to your estimate. In the past if this had an attachment with a PDF, you could display it on your device and show the customer, but you could never actually email it out to them. So now if I go add this item to the estimate and go to email it, it is now listed as an option to email within that same estimate. Email. I know you're all cheering outside of this video, you're all excited because it's going to make life easier. You can also select which estimates you individually want to be sent in this email. Whether it's all of them, one by one, one at a time, completely up to you. Hopefully this is going to make your email life so, so much easier. The last thing we're going to talk about is actually set up on the office side so you might start to notice this. But I would wanted to give you a heads up so that you're not confused if these things start happening. So for those of you who actually charge your customer for materials, you probably are already aware of the toggle. So if you go and add a material item, there's that toggle here that says charge from material. So usually it's default on depending on how your settings are. But now there's a new setup on the office side where they can go item by item within the price book and automatically say it starts on or starts off. So this item started off so you could always come in here and actually charge the customer for it and then you will see that listed as an item on the estimate that the customer will see. But know that the office can start customizing that item by item. So if you notice those things change, that might be why. So you might want to talk to your office so that you are on top of it.
