Field techs can add estimates to closed jobs by creating a blank estimate before closing, then duplicating it later from Follow Ups. You need at least one estimate on the job before you close it out, even if it's empty.
Quick tip. Did you know that technicians can add new estimates to a closed job from mobile? Well it's true but there's one small catch. While the job is open the technician needs to make at least one estimate. Now the estimate doesn't even need to have anything on it. It could be completely blank. It just needs to exist. Now if you do make a blank estimate when you try to close that job out it's going to ask you hey, do you want me to delete this blank estimate? Make sure you say no because we're going to use that later. Then just find that closed job in the follow ups tab and if you're having trouble finding it there try sorting by the appointment date instead of the follow up date and then you can duplicate that blank estimate to make as many estimates as you want and then just edit those blank estimates to add in whatever you need to add. All right, goodbye.
