A repeatable acquisition playbook lets you scale faster by buying businesses that fit your existing model. One company grew from $10M to $30M organically, then doubled two acquired companies within a month by applying the same playbook instead of learning new service models.
So for you specifically, a good acquisition is one that integrates pretty well with the type of business that you already do. Yeah. It's not necessarily expanding or requiring you to learn a different type of service model.
We have a playbook and the playbook works. We took the business from $10 to $30 million organically, no acquisitions, and we've gone and acquired these 3 businesses this year and we've doubled 2 of them in the first month. Like the playbook works. So we're just like, hey, that's the easy button. If there's an easy button, that's the easy button, is you go buy companies that aren't running our playbook and you give them our playbook and then they grow. So yeah, anything that's like, hey, we can knock this out of the park, we'll pursue. But if I have to learn something new and like edit the playbook, like I'm open to learning, I'm open to editing, but I think it will slow down what we're doing as an organization.
I think that's really good insight. I mean, you say it's an easy win, but it's still not because you're taking on another brand.
It took a decade to learn.
Playbook. Like, I'm a decade into this, uh, but today it feels easy.
