Speaker describes founding the Man Academy movement in 2018, initially running events and later creating a membership/network. The network has grown to over 20 members from diverse professional backgrounds (engineering, fitness, banking, construction, aerospace, NHS, entrepreneurs, ex-police, ex-military, serving police, electronics), emphasizing demand for the community and its cross-professional support role.

So I started the whole Man Academy movement in 2018 and I should have started, you know, a membership and a group, you know, much sooner than I did. I was just doing events. But as soon as I started telling guys what I was looking to create, so many of them said, I mean, I want, you know, I need this in my life. And we've got guys now, over 20 of them in the network, who are from engineering, from fitness, from banking, construction, aerospace, nhs. They're entrepreneurs, ex police, ex military, actually serving police as well. I know electronics, all different of areas of life.
