POWERFUL SAYING - WALK AND TALK - #3 | WHOLE MAN ACADEMY

A walk-and-talk about not letting other people's opinions control you. The speaker shares a story about a new profile photo taken by his friend Ash, and references a podcast conversation with David Key about psychological manipulation. The core idea: someone else's opinion of you is none of your business.
Okay, so walk and talk number three. And today we'll talk more about mindset. We'll keep this quick. Now I've come up to the top of one of the fields near me and it's really bloody windy. So if it is windy, I'll try and point the camera in the opposite direction to the wind is blowing. Very technical stuff, but if it's breezy, that's not my fault. It's nature. Anyway, so today I was inking David Key for the podcast which will be going out in following Friday, because Aidan Lee's one will go out this Friday. And one of the things we talked about is mindset. We talked about psychological manipulation, which is what's happened in the last two years with government messaging and stuff like that. And depending on what, whatever your thoughts are on it. It's certainly interesting when you understand what is being done to people and see what change it creates. Whether that's good or bad is up to you. But one of the things we talked about was about how people perceive other people. And it got me thinking about that saying of your or someone's opinion of you is none of your business. And I laughed at that today because I put up a new profile picture taken my friend Ash, who's been a long time supporter of the Holman Academy, and I think Ash came to let me think about this events, you know, back when we first started, that's four or five years ago, he's been to dinners and what have you and been a big supporter of us. And he offered to take some sexy photos of me for a new profile.
Picture just because mine was shite beforehand. That's it. It's less windy here.
So yeah, it was just something to.
Think about how again, for all of us at the that saying of someone's opinion of you is none of your business. And I see so much these days where people get offended when other people make comments they don't like. And as me and Dave were saying, you know, you better get used to that and also impart that knowledge onto the youngsters of today because if they think that they're going to go through life with no one saying anything mean or nasty to them, that's not really setting themselves up for success.
So have a think about it.
Is there any times at the moment where someone says something to you and you take offense to it or you know, you don't like what they've said.
And then you realize that it's up.
To you to decide kind of how you react to what they're saying to you. Interesting. Something to think about on this.
Beautiful. Is it Wednesday?
Wednesday afternoon. And it's a bit later today because it was raining earlier and Walker talks were very good. But one flaw in that plan is that if it's raining, it's not ideal to go walking and talking. Anyway, let me know in the comments what your thoughts are. And again, I remind people that someone else's opinion of you is none of your business.
What does that feel like when you.
Run that through your mind?
Right.
Enjoy yourself. And remember, the world needs strong men.
