A speaker argues social media is designed to trap you through clickbait and addictive content, but can be a useful tool if you stay intentional. He commits to making videos that actually help instead of just pulling for clicks.
And a tool can either be used or it can use you. And if you let social media, it will use you, it will eat you up, it will suck your time, it will suck you in. That's what it's there for. That's what marketing is. It's literally there to suck you in. It's, you know, most of the coaches out there and most of the. Most products, most services are making content for clickbait. They want you to click on something. I want to suck you in. They're not necessarily giving you value. So I think that's where people have to be careful. It's where when I make content, I try to always make sure it's something that's going to give value that people can use. I never want to be part of the problem.
