I'm so excited to have you here today. And I actually want to talk to you today about something that has probably taken up a lot of my focus the last couple of years because there's so much value and power in it. And the topic that I want to chat about today is the value of strategic partnerships. Now, before I hop in, I want to formally welcome you to the Wealthy Entrepreneur podcast. This is the place where we dissect the elements that contribute to entrepreneurial success, from mindset and leadership to profits and revenue. And once again, we're going to chat a little bit about strategic partnerships today. So over the last few years, as we've continued to evolve as an organization, and I've continued to evolve as someone who studies the art of business and and strategy, one of the areas that has really caught my attention the last couple of years is strategic partnerships. Now, strategic partnerships don't mean that I'm bringing partners into my business and I'm looking for multiple partners who are going to buy in equity. No, no, that's not what I consider a strategic partnership. That's just a regular old partnership. Strategic partnerships are where you find somebody that has equal value to what you're contributing to a similar market and you guys can collaborate and bring greater strength and power to a specific space. And a lot of you have probably heard me talk about the four ways to grow. The four ways to strategically grow a business. Get in front of more people, turn your existing clientele into buying more services, pricing, strategy, and retention. Now, if you think of your existing clientele and getting access to more services from those existing people, this is our business that has an existing clientele that needs more services from us. But if you can find somebody who also has a similar clientele that you can offer your existing services over to them and they can offer their services over to your people, or even better, that you can collaborate and strategically market and target that entire market or space, then you know you're going to have a lot more value. So what I wanted to talk about Was actually, I came up with five specific ways that I believe strategic partnerships can have a drastic impact in your business, in my business, and in every business. So again, looking for somebody who has a similar market, a market that you can serve, They've already got a know like trust factor with these people. The fact that you can go in and add value to their market offers huge value to them and to their clientele and builds loyalty. At the same token, it gives you an opportunity to generate significant revenue with people who, you know, need those services. And then in contrast, you've got an existing market that that particular group can offer. Now we've got one partnership that we're working on right now with an organization called Breakthrough Academy. And Breakthrough Academy essentially does coaching related services for construction and contractors. Really. And we've been working with them over the last six months or so to come up with a strategic partnership because they have a lot of value that they bring to the contractor space, focusing on entrepreneur operational efficiencies in the organization systems. But one of their downfalls would be that their clients, when they come in and get this specific type of coaching, don't have visibility over their financials and how their business is actually performing. So if they were to partner with us, we can bring that value to their clients. And what that does is it empowers their coaches to have better information so they can get better results with their clients, increase their retention. And a collaborative partnership between us provides a lot of power to that specific group. And also, the more we're collaborating with each other, the more we understand exactly how they like to see things. And they like, they understand how we like to see things, and we understand the power that they can bring to that relationship as well through getting results for those clients. So very, very powerful. We're in the final stages of working on that right now. And it's been something that is very important and they're taking it very seriously. And we're taking it very seriously because neither one of us wants to get into a strategic partnership where we feel like they would let our clients down. And it becomes, you know, a huge element of due diligence for both of us. And fortunately for us, you know, we found this organization which we feel gives a lot of value to their clients. And so we're looking forward to a strategic partnership. So that's one example of us. But let me walk you through the top five reasons why strategic partnerships could be valuable to your business. Number one, increased market reach. So partnerships really allow companies to access new markets and customer Segments, segments that they have not been able to reach on their own. So again, thinking of this particular group, Breakthrough Academy, they've got customers that we haven't been able to access before. You know, maybe our marketing would eventually get them, but they already have them. And if they need our services, how great is it for us to be able to go in, serve those clients and also support Breakthrough Academy in that particular situation? By leveraging each of our strengths and resources, companies like us can penetrate new markets more efficiently. Again, we don't have to go and create no like trust. The coaching business already has that know like trust and they know like trust us. It's essentially connecting us, eliminating a significant amount of marketing costs, but also eliminating the time to get access to that new market. So increased market reach is super powerful. Number two, enhanced innovation. So collaborating with partners can spark innovation by combining different skill sets, technologies and perspectives. This often leads to the development of new products, services or processes that neither company could have achieved independently. So one particular area that we have been talking about is, is a dashboard for their clients to have access to key financial metrics for their business. Now they've got a manual document, we've got software like QuickBooks Online where this is accessible. So finding a way that we can take our data from QuickBooks Online and get it into their dashboard, likely in an automated fashion so that the business has a scorecard always up and available, is something that we're going to be working on together and something that could be very, very powerful for our shared communities. Cost savings is number three. Strategic partnerships can lead to cost savings through shared resources, distribution channels or joint procurement. By pooling resources and expertise, companies can reduce operational expenses and achieve economies of scale. Makes sense, right? So for, for a strategic partnership, for example, in if we're going after a shared market, there would be an opportunity for us to double down pool our resources on marketing. Maybe we were going to spend $10,000, maybe they were going to spend 10,000. We can now put $20,000 together for a shared pool to get access to a shared lead list. Double the leads. Clearly there's a collaboration opportunity that's there between all of us. Pretty powerful as well. Cost savings for us to get double the leads at or I guess regular amount of leads at half the price we would normally pay, which is pretty incredible. Number four in here for reasons that you would want to utilize strategic partnerships in your business. Competitive advantage. So partnering with complementary businesses can strengthen companies competitive position by offering unique value propositions or differentiation in the market. This can help Companies stay ahead of competitors and capture greater market share. So again, when we partner up with an organization such as a Breakthrough Academy, they've got a lot of specialized knowledge and skills related to the contractor space in understanding how to create operating systems that work inside their business. Now for us to be able to have those shared resources and learnings and for them to have the financial expertise to combined, it really gives us a competitive advantage. So if people were looking to go work independently with a coaching business and with a financial reporting company or a bookkeeping company or a tax company, really it's hard for them to compare with the shared resources that we would have as, as a strategic partnership. So pretty powerful position that we come into there as well. And lastly, number five is risk mitigation. Strategic partnerships can help companies mitigate risk by sharing responsibilities and diversifying business portfolios. By collaborating with trusted partners, companies can navigate challenges more effectively and adapt to changing market conditions. So really, in this case, you know, it allows us to almost stay in our lane too and not venture out trying to offer more sophisticated operational advice related to how to introduce systems into a contracting business that's outside of really at the scope of our service offering and then becoming a financial and tax expert. From a business coach perspective, they don't want to jump in and start offering that advice because they haven't gone through the skills and education and experience that the majority of our team has. So really, again, strategic partnerships can be very, very powerful. They can allow us to increase our market reach, they can enhance our innovation, they can save us money related to costs, they can create competitive advantage and they can help us mitigate risk. Essentially, these winnings highlight the strategic advantages that can be gained through successful partnerships, ultimately driving growth and success for everyone involved, including the outcomes that are received for clients.
