"Making it" as a creative doesn't have to be hard...

Lennon Bone argues creatives don't need to choose between making art and promoting it. The Connection Blueprint has four pillars: Vision, Clarity, Connection, and Serve. The Collective is a monthly program with weekly lessons, social media plans, and live coaching, designed to build audience and income in four hours or less per week.

So if you're like a lot of the creatives that I work with, juggling business and creativity feels really daunting. And for a lot of you, like, the last thing that you want is to spend more time promoting something when you want to be making your art. I want to state the argument that you don't have to let go of one for the other. It doesn't have to be like, I'm only doing this or I'm only doing this, that they can coexist. And that's what I've been working on over the last month. And I want to talk about why I've not been here and what I have that I'm really excited about to show for it. So I talk a lot to creative people. I have a lot of clients that are trying to build some sort of income or an audience online, and nearly all of them have day jobs. They're, like, juggling the two things at once, and they feel overwhelmed a lot of the time because it's like, well, I'm posting on social media, but nobody' really paying attention to me yet. I'm posting things and sometimes I'm like, maybe selling something, but not very often. I feel like I could do it more strategically. But mainly they're just starting to feel, like, burned out because the two things are always at odds with one another. They're never working together. And I want to say that great promotional strategy is not about consistency. It's about connection and connection on two levels. One, you need to be connected with your audience. If you want to sell something to somebody, you want to promote the thing that you have, you need to be connected with your audience. I'm going to talk a little more about that in a second. But two, you need to be connected with yourself and what you want and what you're really trying to do. And that's where I've been a lot the last month, is figuring out, like, what are the things in the business side of what I'm trying to do that really bring me life, that really get me excited? And so I've built something that I'm super pumped about. But what is that for you? Like, what are the connectors for you that get you excited? You may say, like, I hate making YouTube videos or, I hate being on Instagram. Well, why do you hate it? Is it because you're trying to do a bunch of stuff that somebody told you is right, or is it because you're trying to be consistent when you don't really know, like, what you're Even promoting yet. And is it just. Cause there's a lot of questions, like, you need to ask yourself that, because sometimes we don't really hate the thing we're doing. We just don't know why we're doing it. So it feels like a waste. So you need to be connected both to your audience and to yourself, because here's the deal. You are your secret weapon. You may not realize this, but, like, you are the secret weapon, because everything is about your life, your creativity, and how those two things blend together. So if you look at it like a Venn diagram, your life is on one side and your creativity is on the other. And in the middle is where people start to get excited because they're like, I love this person. I love what they're all about. They also like Breaking Bad, or they also do, you know, meditation. And they make this awesome artwork that's about, you know, whatever. It's about, like, uplifting the spirit or finding peace in the everyday chaos, like, whatever those things are. And if you're looking at me saying, like, okay, yeah, I don't really talk about those things, then you need to be talking about them. But here's what starts to happen is when I say something like that, you're like, oh, my gosh, that sounds like a lot more work. That sounds like more things that I need to be thinking about. It sounds like I need to go be watching a ton more YouTube videos. It sounds like I need to be, like.
Just in the weeds more. No, you don't need to. It's more about your blueprint. It's something that I call the Connection blueprint. And the Connection Blueprint is all about those two connectors that I just spoke about, which is connecting deeper with yourself and your art and then connecting that to the audience that you want to reach so that you're no longer just this skimmable, like, person that does stuff. And the four pillars of the Connection Blueprint are vision. What is the vision that you want for your life, for your creativity? The second one is clarity. Like, now that we understand the vision, let's get clarity around the creativity and what it is, how all those things start to line up.
What is your life experience? And how does your life experience and your creativity start to marry one another in a way that creates a differentiator, creates, like, this unique power that only you have as a creative that you can start to then express more of? And then the third part is connection and connection. Meaning, like, now we are connected deeper with our work. Let's connect it to other people. Let's build a plan that gets people excited about it and gets them to want to be a part of, like, what we're doing and what we're putting out there. And the fourth part is about being a servant. So it's not about selling something. It's about serving someone. So we don't show up to sell, we show up to serve. And when we do that, it takes all the pressure off us and allows us to just show up and want to give something. And we do it in a way that's authentic, and we do it in a way that also still gets the attention of the people that need to see it. If this sounds like something that would be beneficial to you as a creative that wants to make money, then I have something that I've been working on over the last month and a half. This is a culmination of two and a half years of work, like, doing courses and masterminds that have, like, helped a bunch of people make money and explore things like that they did not realize they could do with their creativity, marrying new ideas with old ones and coming up with some really cool stuff. And the program that I have is called the Collective. The Collective is an online training program that is built for artists and creatives by an artist and a creative. Because I've been there, like, you know, I've had the million Spotify streams and been in magazines and been on television and on Billboard Top 200 records and all that stuff. And what I've realized is, like, that stuff doesn't assure the next gig, and it doesn't even assure connecting to the right people. Like, it's vanity metrics is all it is. So I've built this thing for the people, the artists and the creatives that want to just go directly to their fans and not have to deal with somebody else doing all the work and just hoping that it works for you. Now, I know that you're busy. I know you probably have a day job, and again, I don't want anything to feel like more work. So this is intended to completely replace your current marketing and promotional strategy and even get you into a place of starting to make money. And the promise here is that you can start building your audience, your income, and your creative ideas in just four hours or less a week. So the way that we do this is there'll be a course every month that you get. This month we're starting with this vision, casting your vision, getting deeper into that so you can understand better what your brand is as an artist. And and start to clarify and communicate your differentiator, your unique factor, like the thing that makes you so cool. So that'll come to you through weekly lessons that include things like immediate social media strategy so you don't have to go and like figure out what to do. I've told you what to go post every week. That's what's going to happen. Right? And then throughout the weeks we have things like co working time. We're live. You can get together with myself or somebody on my team to like just work through your vision and what you're trying to do. We have a private slack group for you guys to get into and I'm there a couple days a week to answer any questions that you have. We also do live coaching calls. A lot of people in these kinds of training programs, they throw you in with a bunch of courses and you're just expected to go like, figure it out. I can tell you by having done that multiple times, it is a waste of your time and money when you don't have the right thing in the right order. You might as well just be on YouTube. And so everything I'm doing here is about putting the right thing in the right order. So you're discovering the thing that you need for your creative business, not what somebody else has done once off and says like, oh well, this is the right way because that's just their own personal experience. Is that causation versus correlation? Right. You have to understand that your version will be different. And that's the point. So because I know how much you need clarity and like real connection with this stuff. These coaching calls are not your typical webinar style thing where you just see me on a screen and you type in a little box. Like these are real zoom calls where you're going to get into a zoom room with me and the whole community and we're going to talk through stuff and get you to work through those problems that you need to work through. We also have a private Facebook group. We have an archive for all of the trainings that you get so you can go back and revisit them at any time. We also archive all of the coaching calls so if you miss them, you can go back and watch them. As I said, you get a social media plan each week, like baller. Right. So the other thing that we're going to be doing that I'm really excited about is money making challenges. So I'm literally going to put you in the heat a little bit, give you a really simple strategy to start Making money. And I did some of this with my mastermind group. And these people paid, you know, about $1,000 to hang out with me for the course of 12 weeks. And all of them made their money back, if not like double and triple that. And it's really exciting to me to think about this. And so I want to put you guys in a place where you're forced to, to try to make money, to fail a little bit, to like, get out there and see what happens. Because you learn so much when you're put out there with a plan and something works and something doesn't work. And you start to figure out like, oh, this really drives me. This is exciting. And you learn really quickly that you get more confidence and more excitement around doing the thing that you love than you ever thought was possible because you start to get a little bit of validation for what you're doing. You will not see this in other programs. They're going to tell you, I'm going to get you more followers. I'm going to get you whatever. Like, I'm telling you, I'm going to teach you how to actually make some money doing the thing you love to do. And a lot of people are going to feel like, well, I can just do this on my own, right? Like, I can just go do it on YouTube and. Yeah, you can. But I just want to ask, and I mean, this is in all sincerity, like, how's it working so far? Because for me, when I was doing everything by just learning it online without any sort of mentorship or people in my life that kept enough to like, give me direct advice, I was spinning my wheels way, way too long. And I learned quickly that investing in myself and investing in mentorship is something that is priceless. And it changed the way I did everything. And I've made more money faster doing the things that I love to do than I ever thought I could because somebody was there to help me say, listen, dude, you're distracted right now. This isn't really making any headway. Listen, your vision right now is unclear. This isn't really doing it for you right now. And a lot of the programs that offer this type of information have at least a five figure price tag on them. You know, we're looking at thousands of dollars to do this kind of thing. And I want to offer this to you as a founding member of the Collective for only $37 month now, you have until May 8th to join us. I will be closing the doors then because I only want to be able to focus on the people that are in there because of me, Like, I know that I don't like to go out and be hustling the sales all the time. I want to be in there focusing on those people because that's what brings me energy. That's the things that I love to do. And I want to teach you to like figure out what your energy bringing things are too so you can build the thing that you want to build that you're really excited about and, and to do it in your own way. I've had plenty of people tell me like, no, you should leave the doors open like all the time because you're going to make more money. I don't care about that right now. What I care about is results for people and giving the attention where it needs to be given in a way that brings me more energy so I can give more energy into this community. And to be honest, like $37 is a flipping steal. I was going to charge 49 and I think this is easily worth $100 a month. This is the same information that I share with my one on one clients that I work with. And that cost is $3,500 to work with me for 12 weeks solid to put this through. And so when you're talking about 37 bucks, like this is a no brainer guys. And I'm never going to do it at this price again. So the people that are in there right now aren't only going to be taking advantage of a lesser price point that you'll be grandfathered into, but also a smaller community, which is really, really cool. You'll get more time with me, more time with the community and it'll feel a lot more close knit, a lot more of a family atmosphere. So again, you've only got until May 8th to join this group. At 9:00pm Eastern time, we'll be closing the doors on this and we'll never do this offer again. So please come join us. If you have questions, you can literally text me. 2013-7537-0620-1375-3706 Shoot me a text if you got questions. I'm gonna answer them like it's me. I want to make sure that I'm here to serve you guys as best I can. So all you gotta do is shoot me a text and ask any question you got. I'll be there to answer it. You can do this. It doesn't need to be hard. The hardest thing that we have to do every day is wake up and figure out how to be more ourselves. That's what this program is all about, is being more you. Not trying to look for someone else to tell you what to do, but to look inward and ask yourself, what do I need to be doing today? What's the thing that brings me joy, that brings me excitement? And when you lean into that, the answers start to come. The how starts to show up. And that's what I want to help you do, is build your own roadmap to your creative success, whatever that looks like for you, not what it looks like for somebody else and not what somebody tells you success is, but what you want in your life for you and your family. So as soon as you join right now, all the material is in there waiting for you, including the bonuses to get started right now. So I'll see you guys inside the collective. Thank you so much.
