If you've been watching the new Andy Warhol Diaries on Netflix like I have, you may or may not have known they used AI to allow Andy to actually narrate the piece from the grave, which is freaking bleh. Apparently they use the same techniques in Roadrunner, a film about Anthony Bourdain, which, by the way, I watched and cried like a baby. Fun fact, I did beat Anthony Bourdain in poker once. Maybe I'll tell that story at a different time. The AI essentially takes a whole bunch of examples of Warhol's voice and then conglomerates those sounds into the narration that they set before for it. And there is a lot of speculation as to whether or not this does the artist justice in the way it speaks or if it sounds too robotic. But I'm curious what you think. Do you think this is like a cool way for us to experience artists and creatives once they've left us? Do you feel like this is a good use of the technology, or would you rather just have like, the TikTok deep fake Tom Cruise.
