PTSD can go away. It is hard. It doesn't, it doesn't happen overnight, but it is 100% possible. PTSD, despite what a lot of experts say, is not permanent brain damage. Yes, trauma and PTSD changes your brain, but processing the trauma changes it back. And this has been proven with MRI brain scans. When you fully process trauma, all of the emotions are released, all of the beliefs have been changed, and you no longer have any negative associations to the memories or the trauma. So even if you think about the trauma from the past, since it's been fully processed, since all of the emotions have been released, you don't have any emotional reaction to it whatsoever. I've personally done this. I've seen it happen with thousands of others as well. So you're not stuck here.
