Is PTSD a weakness? Not at all. PTSD is not a weakness. It is just a natural response to a traumatic and overwhelming event. If you take somebody in the United States and you take someone all the way across the world in Japan and you put them through a trauma, they will react in the same exact way because the common variable is the human. Humans, when exposed to trauma, react in the same way. This is just what PTSD is naturally. It doesn't make you weak. It doesn't make you less than. It doesn't make you to blame for anything you went through. Doesn't make you to blame for any of the symptoms you have. It's quite literally just a natural response to trauma. And the more that you can see that, the more you can forgive yourself for any of the things that you have done or the way that you are feeling. So you're not weak for having PTSD. You're just a human that quite literally millions of other humans feel the same way. You're not alone and healing is 100% possible.
