1998. That's where we are right now on the crypto and blockchain user adoption curve. At that time it was a huge paradigm shift. Most people didn't understand that was going to change everything. We had to change our habits in order for it to be useful. We had to start to shop online. We had to find ways to make those high trust and low friction systems. Smartphones have only existed since 2007. That's where we are right now with blockchain. In 20 years it might be just like the Internet because that level of disruption, it could change the entire way we do finance. But if we're going to look at at it with that type of lean, it changes the way we think about things. So it's really important to understand where we are.
