Day 14 of the 21 Day Build A Mastermind Challenge

This content was created by Brad Hart. This content was uploaded by Brad Hart. This is a YouTube video titled "Day 14 of the 21 Day Build A Mastermind Challenge" (created 2023-09-24). A single host/instructor leads day 14 of the program, presenting tools 5 and 6: the ALOT negotiation matrix (assets, liabilities, opportunities, threats; plus goals/desires/fears and deal-making strategy) and the "hot seat" mastermind format. The speaker explains how to run negotiations and hot-seat sessions, uses an iceberg metaphor to emphasize diagnosing root problems, references a recorded live mastermind demo, and promotes resources/landing pages (MrBls / mrb... and buildamastermind.com) and client success stories (mentions participants like Tony, Aryeh, Chris, AJ, Matt, Jake, Justin, Jasmine). The content is instructional and promotional, aimed at people building or joining masterminds.

Hey everybody, and welcome back to the Build a Mastermind challenge. We're already on day 14. This is the end of week two. Congratulations. If you made it this far, you are truly one of the ones that takes action, that puts their money where their mouth is, that gets after it. And I really appreciate that because I'm that way too. I always say, if you can do it today, why wait? So without further ado, let's jump right into day 14 and check out tools number five and six, which I'm really excited for you guys to use in your masterminds to create epic world changing experiences with with your clients and help them move further, faster on their goals. So here we go. Let's jump right in. We got the build mast map challenge. Day 14. Gonna present right now. Okay, tools five and six. Yes, we got it. Google. Thank you. So we're gonna first talk about the alot matrix of negotiation, which is a worksheet that I've created for you guys. It can be found here at MrBls Co a lot. That's capital letters. So here are the things that you want to know, right? This is how to negotiate. You want to understand what their assets are and yours as well, what their liabilities are as well. Somebody's. One person's asset is another person's liability, typically from an accounting perspective, but also thinking about, you know, what are the things that they want, what are the things that you want, what are the opportunities that they have and you have and what are the threats that they have and you have. And that really help you to understand the deal playing field so that you can create the ideal scenario for everybody. Because the best negotiations, you know, don't work with jerks, don't negotiate the last penny. And you know, really creating a win win deal for everybody is the art of negotiation. It's not just about getting all the dollars and grabbing for all the marbles. It's about making more marbles for everybody by working together. So you know, the mission here, just so you're clear, is to show the world that there's always enough. Because by working together we can always make more. Simple as that. And deal making is a big part of that. So you want to know what their ideal is. You want to know what your ideal is? Have that written out. You want to know what your story is? You can't really know what their story is until you ask. But having a good sense of that and to ask the questions like, hey, what is the ultimate outcome here for you? Look like, what are your must Haves, what are your nice to haves, what are your wants? And then helping to craft a deal based on that. And then finally, what are their goals, desires and fears? And just asking these questions, hey, what are your goals here? What do you desire? What's the outcome you desire here? What are you afraid of with this deal? That will give you a lot of ammo essentially to create a great deal. And it'll show that you actually care enough to, you know, figure out what they want so that you can make the best deal for everybody. And by coming together, putting all this data together and crafting an offer and hammering out the details in that way, you will make deals so much faster than ever before. And I've used this to help build masterminds. I've used this to help people with their businesses and work through tough negotiations. I've helped people to recoup a lot of money with this or make a lot of money with this. And it's just really, it's not common sense because it's not common. But these are the things that world class dealmakers do. They don't go in to grab for all the marbles. They help make more. And there's always more marbles. Okay, that's that. The next thing is the hot seat, right? This is where you put all of the focus and all the attention of all the Mastermind members on one specific member in order to solve their challenge, right? And you can pair these up, you can do like an intro gratitude, then challenge and clarifying questions, and that's considered a hot seat. Or you can just do a portion of the event or Mastermind, that's just a hot seat, right, where you put that person on the spot and you ask them the questions and they tell you about their challenges. And you work through this together as a group. Again, this starts with gratitude and clarity, ends with simple solutions and the participant group. And you know, using this iceberg metaphor, you don't want to shoot at the problem. That's like the tip of the iceberg. You want to make sure you can see the whole iceberg before you go and shoot at that thing, because otherwise you're not going to be able to, you know, do a whole lot of damage. When 90% of the things still hidden under the surface does that make sense? So really understanding what the full problem is and well defined and well stated is halfway to solving the problem. And then the solutions become a lot easier because you could tell exactly what's going on. And then I'll give you guys an example of how we do this with actual clients in. In a real time Mastermind setting. Because, you know, I want to just show you. I don't want to just tell you. I want to actually give you an opportunity to watch this in action. Right. So I've gotten one of my calls where I had a few clients on. They were in weird time zones. I did this call where I think it was Tony, Aryeh and somebody else, maybe Chris, that jumped on. It's just the three, four of us, and we went through all their challenges. We spent a good amount of time on each, and we just had a lot of fun doing it. So I want to show you guys what a mastermind can be like. And you want to pop over to mrb, Capital M, capital E in order to see that, because it's really just going to give you a good sense of what is this really, what does this look like? How do people actually get value from this? And you can see somebody who's been doing it a long time in action, and then you can ask questions based on that. Because I think this is really a powerful thing and a lot of people have watched that video and gotten a lot of value out of it. We actually use it as an ad for a while to draw people in. Definitely go check it out. And as always, if you want to move further faster, you can jump on a call with us. This is buildamastermind.com where you can watch case studies testimonials, see other client success stories, like Chris, who went from zero to 30 clients in four months, never having marketed or sold anything before. And we have a lot of stories like that. AJ got 15 clients. Matt's starting at JV mastermind. We've got Jake and Aryeh who are doing really well, getting a lot of clients now. Justin sold out his mastermind in record time. He went five for five on sales calls at one point, which is epic. It's just an amazing group. So I would love to have you a part of it. Jasmine's got hundreds of clients with her Mastermind. It's pretty awesome to watch. She's kicking butt anyway. It's all good stuff. We'll see you over there and we'll see you in the next video, which is going to be day 15. We're already in week three, guys. We're killing this. You guys are kicking butt, and I will talk to you soon.
