Day 19 of the 21 Day Build A Mastermind Challenge

Brad Hart (speaker) delivers Day 19 of a 21-day Build A Mastermind Challenge bonus training, focusing on the two primary enrollment objections: trust and ego. He explains trust as three levels—trust of self (commitment to oneself), trust of others (follow-through by others), and trust in sustainability (whether the program will last)—giving rough frequency estimates (about 80% self, 15% others, 5% sustainability). He offers probing questions and conversational techniques to uncover and address each objection, warns that ego-driven prospects are difficult clients, and closes with a call-to-action to enroll at buildamastermind.com.

Welcome back to the bonus video number 19. This is day 19 of the 21 day build a Mastermind Challenge. We're so close, I can taste it. I can feel it. I'm excited. Let's rock and roll and get right into it. So let's go ahead and share my screen for you and present. Okay, so again, these are. If you haven't watched the first video, go back to that because those are the first three objections and we're talking about the second two objections, which is five in total. These are the most common objections that people will have. Right? These are the most powerful ones, trust and ego. So really, fear and ego are the biggest objections and how we're going to overcome them. So trust shows up as one of three things. Typically, when I see a trust objection, I am going to answer it in this way. I'm going to say, you know, have you ever heard of the three levels of trust? Well, the three levels of trust are, you know, there's trust of self, which is number one, which is commitment consistent to yourself. That's saying, you know, hey, I'm going to do this thing. I'm giving myself my word, by this date, I'm going to have this thing accomplished. And then when you lose trust in yourself, it's when you break your word with yourself. Trust of others is very similar. It's people saying they're going to do things and then not following through. And, you know, it's better to give people the benefit of doubt and live a life of trust and give everybody, you know, trust until they show that they're not trustworthy versus not trusting anybody and waiting for, you know, good things to happen to you. Because guess what? People can pick up on the fact that you don't trust them. And it's weird and it's a gut vibe they don't like. And even really trustworthy people will not be trustworthy in those scenarios in your mind, because you're painting the world that you, that you ultimately want to see. So I trust everybody until they give me a reason not to. And that's commitment, consistency with others, them keeping their word and following through on promises. And then finally there's trust in sustainability, right? Is this thing going to be around long enough to give me the value that I need? Is it going to be continuing to thrive? Is this company or product or service going to be around? Is it sustainable? So about 80% of the time it's trust in self, right? And you could dig into that. And we have ways to do that as well. But I won't go in now because this is just meant to be a cursory overview, not a deep dive. Then about 15% of time, it'll be trust in others. And then finally 5% of the time, it'll be trust and sustainability. And these are relatively easy to overcome, but it's really important to just get to the heart of what it actually is and then dig, dig, dig, dig, dig into that. So if it was like just for an example, a trust and self thing, I would just ask, well, what's time that you gave yourself your word and didn't follow through? And dig into that, and how are we going to make sure that doesn't happen again? When you really walk people through, they start to see, like, oh, wow, I'm making decisions based on how I used to be or what has happened in the past. And the past doesn't equal the future unless you live there. So they need to change something in order to get a new result and begin to trust themselves or others or sustainability just a little bit more because otherwise they're giving up on their dreams. Don't let your dreams be dreams. Don't let your memes be memes. And then finally, ego. Ego is the toughest objection. People with an ego, you know, I don't need you, I can do this on my own, tend to be terrible clients. And they're always fighting you because they're not actually sold on the fact that they need help. And regardless of any program, service, coach, consultant, mastermind, ego is a tough one to break. You can break it. Certainly you can ask them something. The effect of, well, I get everything is perfect right now and you have exactly what you want. But, you know, tell me, if there was one thing that you wanted to change, what would it be? If you could change one thing in your business, what would it be? Or your life or your health or what have you. Another way to do this is to say something. The effect of, why are you on this call in the first place? I mean, it sounds like everything's really great. I'm just curious, what led you to be on this call? Is there something I'm missing here? Do you not need help? I wouldn't spend a lot of time on sales calls with people if I didn't have an actual problem. If you really don't have an issue, then mazel's hab. We can end this call right now. But if we can't really dig into what's actually going on here, then I don't think I can help. Help you any further and that might pull them out as well. But again, use with caution because those egotistical clients tend to be really tough to work with. And then finally, if you're not an egotistical client, if you don't have any money, authority, time, trust, ego objections and we can help you to build a mastermind. You see the value in mentorship. You see the value of going further, faster, having a proven system that you can implement over 12 weeks with us with lifetime access to all the content and support and community.
