Day 6 of the 21 Day Build A Mastermind Challenge

YouTube lesson by Brad Hart (Day 6 of a 21-day Build Mastermind challenge) teaching how to run 15-minute market-research calls using a seven-question script: ask one question, then listen; avoid leading questions; record and transcribe responses to capture customer language for offers and copy. The session stresses that these are research (not sales) calls but recommends asking for permission to present the finished offer later; the video closes with upsell options (a $49 sales-script and the broader Build Mastermind program).

Welcome Back to day six of the Build Mastermind challenge. This is day six of 21, and if you haven't watched the first five videos, I recommend you go back and watch those. They are short. I do talk fast, I keep it really tight. 5, 10 minutes tops. And I want you to watch them because you're going to get more value if you watch the videos. You can't just, you know, somehow magically osmosis them from your computer to your brain. You got to actually watch these videos, take some notes, take the action that I recommend, and you will get better results in building your mastermind. So without further ado, let's talk about the next video. So here we go. We're gonna go over here and we're gonna present this, okay? Nope, I lied. That's not it. Hang on. Exit. Boop. Technical difficulties. Okay, there it is. Okay, present. You guys ever watch that Key and Peele sketch? Present. Anyway, Don't tell me your name is Blake. I will slap the crap out of you, boy. Anyway, alright, so we're on day six, market research calls. So these are 15 minute phone calls designed to get your target market on the line so that you can understand their pains, their pleasures, their, their dreams, their goals, their desires, their frustrations, who they're angry at, why they're angry at them, and really get clear on what your offer should be to solve those things. Right? Steve Jobs, Henry Ford, these were all visionaries. There are people that were able to tell people what they needed or wanted before they even realized they wanted it themselves. Because they were great at hearing what their problems were without saying, oh, I'm just going to create a better, iterative version of that thing. So they're not going to make faster horses like Henry Ford said. They're going to make a car, they're not going to make another BlackBerry, they're going to make an iPhone. Right? So this becomes the art and science of crafting offers. Which is why I say offers is like the number one world class skill for entrepreneurs. If you can create the best offer, marketing becomes easy, sales becomes easy, and then once you have a ton of leads and money coming in, then systems becomes easy because you have the resources to invest and hire the people to make that happen. So really exciting. So here are 15 minute phone calls and the only questions you're going to ask are the ones that are listed here. And you're going to ask a question and you're going to shut up. And not because I want to be rude and not because I don't want you to talk. It's because I want people to talk to you. I want them to be heard. I want them to feel seen and understood. And doing so will allow you to pull out the best of what they have to say and use that in your marketing copy, use that in your offers and really understand what people have going on. And These are the seven questions that I ask. It should only take 15 minutes. You start off the call by saying something. The effect of hey, expectations. Again, this is not a sales call, it's just a market research call. I'm going to ask you a series of questions. I'm just going to ask the question, then shut up. When you feel like you're finished talking, just say what you ever want to say. Just say, okay, that's all I have to say about that. Great, we'll move to the next question. And at the very end, when you're done doing that asking questions and you're recording this and making sure you're transcribing it so you pick out the words that they say so you can use their tribal language and actually you know the words that are going through their head. So you can create dog whistle copy that pulls the people in to where you want them to be, which is looking at your offers. Oh, right. At the very end you will say something. The effect of, hey, it's been really great chatting with you. I'm going to take this and all the other feedback that I glean from the market research calls. I'm going to transcribe it, I'm going to look through it and pour through it. I'm going to create the best offer I have to create when it's finished. Are you interested in hearing about it? Yes or no. And they'll probably say yes. And if they do, great, okay, set up a follow on call for a couple weeks hence and, and then you can go and transition to a sales call. And it's not, you know, sleazy. You know, hey, you know, I bait and switch you like, hey, you got a market research call and it's a sales call. No, it's just like this is the next logical step. If you're interested in the offer when it's finished, let's schedule another time, let's jump on another call. Or if I reach out to you then if you're not sure on the timing, that's fine. So just gain enrollment in that moment. Okay, so that's thing one thing too is if, let's say they say, oh well, tell me about your offer, then you Pause. You punt the brakes, say, hey, integrity check. I said this wasn't gonna be a sales call. I wanna hold by that. And to be honest, I don't have anything to sell you yet. But I appreciate your interest, and when I do, I will reach out to you and we will schedule another call. Sound fair enough? Okay, cool. So this is how you do it. And going to the next slide, you have your set of questions here. Hopefully you've been writing them down, because I'm about to go next. And if not, you can go back in the video to look at them. And then here's the caveat, right? This is the caveat slide. Don't ask these questions because you're going to get lead answers, meaning leading type answers from leading type questions. And you don't want to incept an idea into their head or tell them what to think. You want them to generate the ideas on their own so that you can use them for the offers because it's really what they think and not what you're leading them to say. Does that make sense? So you want to write these down. Don't ask these questions. And then finally, make sure you again, record these calls, transcribe them so you have the offer in their own words, and this will help you generate winning copy later. And yeah, again, if they ask you about your offering, you just use the transition script I talked about. And regardless, ask them if they're interested in hearing the offer once it's all done. So if you want to get into sales mode now and start to close some of these deals and charge money for your service, which is your mastermind, your course, your workshop, your event, what have you, we have a really great sales script. If you didn't get it already when it was offered for $37, I have an additional offer here for you. It's 49 bucks. It's the same thing you're going to get before with some bonuses attached. I want to give you a second bite of the apple here. If you want to go further faster, I would recommend jumping on this sales script because it is really simple, clean. It can work in any niche. We have other sales scripts that are more robust inside the Build Mastermind program, as always, that are more specific for different niches. But this specific script will work for any niche. It's very simple, it's very clean. It's. It's not like 100 steps and you can get it rolling right now. The first time I use the script ever, I close the deal immediately. So it definitely works. And my clients are using for a long time, and they're really excited about it. And you're going to get that for 49 bucks. And bonus video of me walking through it, which I'm creating as we speak. It's like the next thing on the docket. So if you don't quite get it there, if you beat me to it, it's on the way, I promise. All right, so if you want to jump into the Build a Mastermind program, obviously all of this is available to you for one low, low price and mentorship and the, you know, actually working with us and, you know, that's the center of the funnel, the whole enchilada, that's the course, that's what we teach, is how to build Mastermind. And we give you a ton of support, lifetime access to all the content. We're always making it better. And I'll talk about more of that later. But if you want to jump ahead and jump onto our calendar, you can go ahead and fill out an application, jump on the calendar, watch case studies, watch testimonials, whatever you want to do, and you can get all that@buildmastermind.com okay, that's it for this video, day six. And we're going to go ahead and see you in the next video.
