Short YouTube monologue by Brad Hart (Make More Marbles) advising employers to hire "A players." He defines A players as punctual, proactive, communicative, growth-minded people who create healthy agreements/boundaries and get things done. He also advises employers to be A players themselves and build motivating compensation (salary, equity, bonus, performance pay).

Here's why Hiring A players is the best move you're ever going to make. What I've learned over these many years and many failures is that every time I've hired somebody who's not an A player, they create way more trauma and damage than somebody who's an A player. An A player is somebody who shows up on time, does the work, ask questions, gets it done, is proactive, is ready, is hungry, is wanting to learn, is wanting to grow, is wanting to contribute. And they are a clear communicator. They understand the ABCs of great relationships. They create agreements, they create boundaries that are healthy, they clearly communicate and they're kind of person who just gets stuff done. If you want to hire A players, you got to be an A player yourself. A and B it's important that you make a comp structure with them, whether it be salary, equity, bonus, performance where they're going to be excited to perform. My name is Brad Hart. This is Make More Marbles. Thank you so much for following. I'll see you soon.
