A short excerpt from a YouTube talk by Brad Hart in which the speaker describes the experience of being a "visionary": seeing potential futures clearly, struggling to enroll others in that vision, and questioning whether this perception is a gift or madness. The piece reads as a personal, reflective opening rather than a technical exposition.

If you're watching this, nobody else is going to believe it before you do. That's the. The curse of a visionary, of which I happen to be. Or maybe, you know, I'm just. I'm crazy. I see the future. I don't see the exact future. I see a potential of the future. And I try to enroll people in that possibility because I can see it so clearly, but they can't. It's really hard when you have that gift and other people don't.
