So another question I get all the time is how do I create the right culture and environment in my mastermind group? So if you haven't seen my video on values, you want to go back and watch that first. Because once the values are clear, the next step is to work on your own leadership skills and enroll your team if you have one already, to make the environment as conducive as possible to learning, growth and personal professional development. This is your mastermind environment. So in an in person mastermind, there's so many things you can do to set up the space for success from simple logistical things like hanging the right signs in the right places. Hey, where's the bathroom? Where's the food, where to take off your shoes, which is the garbage, which is the recycling, where to park, clear directions, et cetera, and setting the tone and the mood of the space with the right colors, candles if you want, comfy places to sit, drinks, snacks, notebooks, pens. If it's a little more of a masculine vibe or feminine vibe, you really want to just cater to the needs and wants and desires of the people who are there. And you can take a poll beforehand to see what would be great. And you can learn this and dial this in over time if you have no aesthetic quality. I'm not super high on the aesthetic scale myself. I get help with this from my team. For virtual, it's even easier. But you over deliver by making it more of a physical experience and sending care packages along beforehand with workbooks, books, goodies, snacks, and even doing a virtual check in like they would experience at the actual event. Then you can have Zoom, which can be great to help facilitate recording screen shares and breakout rooms for your group. Now here's another thing that's coming down the pipe is VR and ar. So having a virtual space that's actually in virtual reality, where you could wear an Oculus or, you know, similar type of headset and be immersed in the experience, allows you to have an experience where you're sitting in a hall or in a, in a bubble or on the beach or in some beautiful location that you can imagine. Or also, you know, take from real life, like for example, sitting on the glacier in Iceland and talking about, you know, problems and kind of zooming out on your own reality for a minute. So whatever you decide to do for creating the right environment, go for it. As far as the culture, it's really a function of values and you have to set the tone as the leader, the facilitator. You don't have to be the expert but you have to really set that tone and all the members understand what they're going through. Make sure they sign some sort of, you know, code of conduct or agreement to hold certain values. True. And not to, you know, share private information without written authorization, those types of things. A full NDA might be required for certain Mastermind groups as well. We certainly use them in ours. So again, this is Brad Hart. I'm really excited to share more about Masterminds. If you're looking for more additional help with Masterminds, you can check out my book.
