What happens when your partner makes more than you or you make more than your partner? This can be an uncomfortable conversation, but it goes back to my three ABCs of great relationships. It comes down to agreements, boundaries and clear communication. If there is a discrepancy between your income or between the way you view your roles in the relationship, it's really important to have those conversations clearly, early and often. Because guess what? You're going to change and grow together as a couple. I've been with my partner now for four years. It's really important to understand where they're at, how they've grown, how they have evolved, how they've changed their opinions on things, and to ask questions and get curious about what's going on for them so that you can make clear agreements, set clear boundaries, and have crystal clear communication. Because that's the number one thing that's going to ruin a relationship. Most relationships that fail ultimately fail due to some sort of financial issue, especially after the first year or so. So this is very important to talk to your spouse, talk to your significant other, and follow me here for more. I'll talk to you soon.
