Brad Hart argues marketing is empathy at scale: explain your ideas at the audience's level, not yours. Most people have never used a chatbot. He saw users spend hours with narrow bot iterations, revealing how little context people actually have.

Marketing is just empathy at scale. And don't get too far off the reservation as far as like your expert stuff. Remember to bring it back to where people are at because they're so much further behind in reality than where you think they are. Like some of these people have never interacted with a bot before, have no idea what to expect or what's realistic. Like you see some of these transcripts of what comes back like in the back of Pickaxe and people are like talking to it for 30 hours and they're not even using ChatGPT. They're using my iteration of it that I created. That isn't even halfway as good as the whole Shebanga bang. It's just trained on that one narrow thing and it's like, I didn't even think people would do that. That's wild because they don't understand the context. How could they? You know, the vast majority of the world isn't there.
