A short marketing talk advising entrepreneurs to use empathy interviews—conversational, non-questioning talks with customers—to make prospects feel seen and heard, learn customers' values, beliefs, and language (nomenclature), and refine messaging and offers. The speaker emphasizes asking questions like “was there any reason you almost didn't buy?” to surface objections and better tailor offers.

I think the biggest thing is, I mean, if I could teach anything from a marketing perspective, it's really try to get your prospects to feel seen, heard, and that they're enough. And if you can do that, your business will transform. A lot of our tactics that nobody does like, our secret sauce, I mean, I'll give it publicly, is that we do empathy interviews, right? It's just like, talk to your customers and not just like, don't get them into a position where they feel like they're answering questions. Get to know them, understand their value and belief system. And when you get to know your best customers, you can use their nomenclature to attract more best customers. And it just lets you communicate to your audience in another level. So one of the questions that we ask for, objection, handling is, was there, was there any reason you almost didn't buy? Right. It's about how you ask them, right? You're looking to know more about them. Most signaling can be done with either wealth or family or, you know, their health or, you know, they have a value and belief system that's very much aligned, then you can make an offer to get them there.
